Since there is no built-in GPS, if I were to run outdoors without a connected phone on hand, does the watch able to record the route that I used once I finished my run and connect to phone? How does a watch without GPS record or track your run outdoors?
Same for walking and cycling by the way. And for anything else that needs GPS. For me I'm not bothered by the lack of built-in GPS. Especially when I'm running I want my phone with me for safety. Not that you asked but I thought I'd share. I'm guessing most people complaining about the GPS are men, and are not thinking about safety the same way I am?
@@emmie1176 I'm a woman and it never occurred to me to have my phone on me for safety. But then again I live in a pretty save country and have been running the exact same route for the last 15 years without encountering any kind of problem ever. And I rarely ever take my phone with me, when I'm running. I'd have to buy an extra bag or something for it...not worth it.
Garmin Lily 2 Active has integrated GPS
Do you know if you can connect lily 2 with strava?
About the second model I me not sure but strava has Integrarion with Garnin connect and I can use this to view the first version of liily statistics.

It will record your stats, but not your distance or the route you ran on a map.

I couldn't tell which one is which, I wish you could show the model name on screen while talking about it.
Pay attention, it's clear and they specify multiple times throughout the video.
