I got taken on a private stadium tour of the Allianz Arena, home to Bayern Munich. Germany's most successful club have an incredible stadium and trophy room full of Bundesliga titles, Champions Leagues and German Cups!
The new home of Harry Kane is somewhere you have to visit if you like football and are heading to Munich!

Love ur videos mate!! Hope to see you coming to Utrecht soon again!! Expectations are high this season here!!
Thanks mate! I had a great time in Utrecht last time. One of the nicest parts of the Netherlands I've ever seen. Will be back soon and good luck for the season!
Nicest most genuine guy on UA-cam this guy... no this isn’t his mum 😅
are you his dad then?
@@LordAC13 not that I no of
No, that’s me, I’m his mum, thank you for your kind comment, I’m extremely proud of him 🤗🤗
Sam's mom, he's a credit to you and I see why you are so proud of him. Sam deserves every bit of success for the fantastic and interesting vlogs he produces. Keep up the great work Sam.
@@carolnorth9735i had the pleasure to guide him through the Munich football world this past few days and it has really been a blast. One of the nicest people ever
One of the very best cities in the world mate (plus the surrounding region including Berchtesgaden) - Enjoy 👏. As others have said, the old Olympiastadion is amazing too - as is the massive park it’s situated in. Really looking forward to that video too 🍺 ⚽️ 🏙️ 👏
This channel deserves so many more subscribers! been here since around 60k and love the variety and the growth of this channel
This Romanian guide is sensational. What a credit to FC Bayern Munich. Brilliant. Great video Sam.
The Hofbräuhaus is for tourists.
Locals go to the Hofbräukeller..
Also, 🥨 aren't called Pretzel or Brezel but Brezn 😉 (especially in Bavaria)..
Augustiner Keller too is amazing
I'm not a fan of Bayern München, to be fair, I'm from the cute little city of Freiburg, and that's where I center my allegiances, but one has to appreciate their accomplishments. Respect where respect is due, I reckon...
do all germans hate bayern?
@@shashankn4895 What do you mean? It's the most popular club in Germany...
11:21 you definitely made it bro 😎
Hope you also found time to visit the Olympic Stadium, site of England’s famous 5-1 victory, an amazing stadium, and also right by the memorial to the athletes murdered by Black September in 1972.
Yep I went there yesterday. That video will be up in the next few days. Thanks for watching 🙌🏼🎥
Bayern Munich are the cathedral of the German football as they are the biggest team in Germany and one of the biggest respective teams in this world, good friends!!!I am neutral as I fully like all the respective German teams ever but Bayern Munich are a team that stands in my heart, good friends!!!LONG LIVE BAYERN MUNICH!!!🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️
Thanks Sam. What a stadium 😳 What a City 😍 German football is the best imo . Look forward to the rest of the Bayern content 👌 ❤💚
Have you been to the Olympiastadion in Munich Sam? Was there watching Bayern v Rangers in 1999, what a stadium that is.
Great video keep up the great work, Munich is a lovely city I’ve been twice most recently in april this year, done Bayern stadium tour twice and done a game against hoffenheim one of the best cities I’ve ever visited
This is a beautiful video! Nice little details and a sense of place.
Fantastic city and the beer 🍺 wow.. Fantastic video as per usual Sam 👏
1860 got a few more than 20k we always were around the 30k mark we even had one season with 41k average attendance
Great video once again mate. You should come to Lyon, to discover about French football with one of its biggest club, a brand new stadium and a great museum !
As a Bayern Munich fan I enjoyed this city as I enjoyed the museum the history of German knowledge and the culture of the club you must go your first match this bundesliga season sam should do a great Bayern Munich content am loving it buddy
Awesome my brother hope to catch up soon this football season 💙👌🏻⚽
Was there in 2016.
Such a special stadium tour was amazing
Love your content ❤💯💯🔥keep up the good work
Munich well Bavaria in general is just simply beautiful. The beer halls and gardens are great. Also Nuremberg. Bamberg. Regensburg. Wurzburg. All other beautiful places in Bavaria. Makesure you do a trip to top of mountain WW2 eagles nest too.
Mate such awesome videos keep them up!!
flippin love these vids. they turn a casual supporter like myself into a knowledgable footy bloody bible. smashing.
Thank you, Sam! Another quality video! But I wouldn't say that Munich is the 'most German' city like you did at 0:28. Even if I've never been there myself, I think this city and Bavarian costums are just confirming the probable German stereotype most people from other countries have in their mind when it comes to Germany. But maybe this is exactly what you wanted to tell us by saying that. The North with its nearby coast around, for example, is so different than Hofbräuhaus and Pretzels...they prefer to eat fish instead, haha! But surely, you'll get a local beer brand everywhere you go if you want to...
Imagine your so famous your getting private stadium tours
Would love to see a 1860 Munich tour or match day vlog
Loved Munich when I visited there, would defo go back 😉🇩🇪
Was there last April for der klassiker! ! Loved Munich and the beer hall!
great experience what a stadium
Bayern Munic-real elite club owned by fans, not by oligarchs in EPL.
Superb Tour Sam. Love Bayern Munchen
Lived in Munich late 70s early 80s drank in the Hoffbrau hause almost every day🍻 and went to watch 1860 on a weekend.
I like the way, at 14:09, the only part of the stadium that isn’t covered by the roof, is the section where the sun shines on the seats that have the club’s name
Incredible access 👏
Did you do this video before you went to Bayern Munich vs RB Leipzig ????
And I’m doing Oktoberfest this September!
Maintain the tradition of getting a club shirt from a city I visit (TSV Munchen it is then)
Seen them at Ibrox a few times ,and been every time, apart from Dick Advocate,a time we drew but Harold Schumacher was in goal with Rumminigre brother Michael a think Carl wasn't there but what a side
I would love to go to Munich, it looks like a beautiful city.
It's a great city. It's when going to such places you realise what a shit hole the UK is
Please do a video on cork city fc
This is soo German ..BUT...every single one in the crowd watching the "Glockenspiel" is actually a tourist from wherever. The "Marienplatz" is basically a "No German Zone" in Munich.
Great video I am a supporter of celtic and buyern munchen also support Berlin dynamo in the 3rd divison
just one day later you went there, kane was really in the stadium
Think the 1967 cup winners cup victory was actually against rangers?? Great video! Some place it looks 👏🏻
your correct,Franz Roth scored in extra time
Bayern won the UCWC and Celtic won the European Cup 🍀,
And Israel skelped the Arab Colonisers in the Six Day War. 🇮🇱🇮🇱
What a year 1967 was. 🏆🥂
1860 Munchen - the real club of Munich!
As a Bayern fan I enjoyed this video :)
Danke!!!

Haven't even watched it yet cause I'm at work, because I'm at work but I gave it a like ;)
That beer glass is nearly as big as Sam.
😂
Must be hard working being 1860 Munich fan as Everton fan I can understand
Can I recommend Tor! The Story of German Football by Uli Hesse as a book to read. Also the German language film The Miracle of Berne.
Surely Bayern became the the club that they on the back of Gerd Mullers goals, even more so than Beckenbauers influence, good video as ever but I can’t believe that you never mentioned Muller…
Will be there for the scotland game 🏴😁
Everything is bigger in Deutschland. Especially the hangovers!
Munich 1860 Rule(Remember seeing Chelsea my team beat them in the late sixties)always been my fav German team)
Germans that didn't like the competitiveness...hahaha😂😂❤🍻
Augustiner is where its at
Played gymnastics lol good vid cheers Big ears
Why no video about 1860 München
😂
Gotta leave room for his next visit. And They played away last weekend
Small club, irrelevant. 🤣🤣🏆
No, this is not "so German". It's Bavarian. It's just the because US soldiers were mostly stationed in Bavaria after the war and talked about their impressions, that the world got the wrong idea. One could say that Germany is a multi-ethnic country comprised of the former Kingdoms of Prussia, Bavaria, Hanover, Wurttemberg and Saxony. Genetically speaking someone from the former Kingdom of Hanover is virtually the same as an Englishman. But has NOTHING to do with a Bavarian. Totally different peoples. If at all, Bavarians are related to Austrians, they even speak the same Austro-Bavarian dialect. But the rest of Germany has totally different traditions from Bavaria. You wouldn't go to Scotland and proclaim: "Oh, that's so English!", either, right?
Wow you lucky guy am going braga

Bavaria is the capital of the world👑
It looks like a bloody dinghy! - BvBorussia09Dortmund!
Oh and lothar Mathaues
They beat Rangers in a final ,a think

there it is 😁
Celtic - Sankt Pauli - Bayern ❤🎉❤
💚 ❤️ 🤎
München isn’t very German, it is very Bavarian. There is a big difference, trust me. Otherwise great video. You make great content. Keep it up
Germany is a massive country and very diverse, but surely Bavarian is just another part of the overall German culture? What makes it so different from rest of Germany?
@@espben360 Your right. It‘s not different. The only difference is that Bavarians are the most traditionally minded Germans nowadays and still stick to their German culture and traditions the most (by far) and made them mainstream. Probably because Bavaria was hit the least from ww2 and it’s aftermath, especially with regards to the huge immigration of east europe Germans that had been forced away from their homes in east Europe. Then the Americans occupied Bavaria and the Americans had been the most lenient regarding the German cultural clubs and businesses out of all the occupying forces. Also Bavaria had been the most well of economically following ww2 thus Bavaria had been able more than any other German region to rebuilt its cities in the historically correct way with its old quarters and old German architecture.
@@espben360There is literally zero reason to call Bavaria not German. It makes absolutely zero sense culturally, historically, politically… But it‘s popular to do that among left wingers in an ironic way, because they dislike Bavaria for being ´too german‘/traditionally minded (who also accuse Bavarians of focusing too much on their own region) and thus too much different from the rest of modern Germany (they also think that Bavarians would embarrass the rest of Germany by displaying conservative german culture) and as a response some right wing Bavarians started thinking of themselves as more Bavarian than German and made the the two words oppose each other because in their view the rest of Germany has become too progressive and culturally and traditionally too non-german. Then you have many non-Germans in the whole mix who obviously don’t even know what German means, neither do are they aware of Germanys and Bavaria’s history and simply like to claim Bavarians as being non-german all together in every sense and demand Bavaria should split off from the rest of Germany … just to annoy both sides I guess? Maybe some jealousy going on there. Whatever. There you have it.
@@espben360 The irony of it all is that in the end Bavaria is being called non-german for being ˋtoo german‘ (in the traditional sense) 😂😂
@@espben360 Also regional/tribal rivalries and jealousy come into play. Many Germans from other regions are somewhat jealous about Bavaria’s economic success and accuse Bavaria of being too independently minded and as only caring about themselves and thus being more successful and try to get back at them by calling them non-german and Bavarians that grew tired of that just started to go along with it. For a very little minority it got actually serious due to growing differences in politics (conservative vs progressive) and now both sides are nitpicking the smallest difference of Bavaria to another random (usually northern) German region in order to call Bavaria different and non-german and vica versa. It’s really petty actually.
i like your videos, but Munich isn´t Germany it´s Bavaria. Yes the Bavariancultur is very popular outside of Germany but that is not german
00:37 "This is so german" Wrong.!
That's Bavarian.
I come from northern Germany and have never seen people in lederhosen (bavarian garb) , never drunk wheat beer, never eaten white sausage.
Der Norden hat halt nix zu bieten 🤷🏻♂️ der Süden ist so viel schöner.
That is because Bavarians still cherish their traditional German culture more than anyone else in Germany. That doesn’t make them any less German 😂😂 it‘s just that you have a modern and progressive mind and simply don’t like Germans being traditional and conservative about their culture. So you are biased. Lederhosen literally are a part of German traditional outfits in every single region of Germany and sausages and beer are a traditional german dish and beverage all over Germany, in every German regional culture since forever. Only cause you don’t like it or think it’s embarrassing doesn’t mean you can just invent new facts and rewrite reality.
Also he referred to the architecture and that architecture surely is uniquely German and can be found all over Germany as well 😂😂 especially in the north of Germany (Hamburg and Bremen for example have a very similar Rathaus)
