The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 is the newest Windows tablet from Microsoft. Now you can choose between versions with an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor of the 12th generation. Or you get the ARM version with a Microsoft SQ3 chipset and integrated 5G. That one runs Windows 11 on ARM. You can get 8GB, 16GB or 32GB of RAM and a replaceable SSD that's between 128GB and 1TB in size.
Its basic design resembles the Surface Pro 8 a lot. We get a premium-feeling Aluminium body, a pretty 13-inch display that supports 120Hz, as well as two USB C 4.0 ports, an optional keyboard cover, as well as the Slim Pen 2. You can use the Surface Pro 9 with the Surface Pen as well.

I wasn’t sure about the green color at first… but I actually really love it!
It was so hard to find someone that reviewed it. Everyone had the blue one, but I really wanted to see the green under different lighting. Definitely going green for my new one now.
I love surface products. just so overpriced. the specs inside should determine cost, not the build.
A big plus is that you quite often can get some nice discounts on the older models and when they are slightly used. I grabbed a barely used Laptop 4 for around 600 Euros, with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. Sold directly from a chain store too.

Actually it does matter if you use the old pen or the surface pen 2! Especially for artists! The lines are much more stable on the slim pen 2 than on the old pen, if you draw slow diagonal lines for example: the old pen has some mechanical jitter to the lines because of the older technology, this is reduced alot with the new pen
You're right. I gave both pens to an artist and she also preferred the Slim Pen 2.
Also, the paper friction of the haptic feedback is a game changer for handwriting and drawing, especially if you increase the tactile signals intensity in setting.
Also, the increased precision allows for much smaller handwriting, and there is also zero initial activation.

Thank you just received mine today and I was having a heck of a time trying to figure out the keyboard attachment. And your showing where the SSD was the icing on the cake.
It's a request to do some alterations in lighting for video. It's too bright.
of course its great premium but aslo very expensive as how shitty way both apple and microsoft sell theirr products since 2012 came their 2in1 tab and aint ashamed of it either apple since 2007 so as for me i would reccomend to get xiaomi books12,4 its seems great with snapdragon chips and 8gb ram and stulys and keyboard i dont even worry selling separately of parts cause thats great deal considering the price of course if in store can i buy them too

Tried the pen out at Costco today. I was truly impressed by how natural it felt to write and draw. This is a great machine for portability and productivity.

The Surface Pen 2 is a Carpenters pen style, not your normal typical pen.

They keyboard comes separately. For quite a lot of money, so double check that. No store I'm aware of sells the keyboard and the tablet as one piece.

I want to ask: with the new EU law about the Type-C to all tech devices, does it mean that the future Surface pros will have ALL TYPE-C ports or they still have the property connector ALONG with the type-c ports? I’m asking because I think I prefer for pc using a mangnetic charging port like the one on the Surface Pro or the MagSafe on the new MacBooks instead relaying only on a single type c port.
No idea. But this Surface Pro with the Surface Connect port also complies with EU law because you don't have to use Surface Connect. You can use USB C in addition to that.
@@MyNextTablet Btw. I'm pretty sure this Surface Connector was introduced with the Pro 3, the older Surfaces had another but similar type of connector. I still have my old RT 2 in storage :)
As long as they also can charged with USB-C, I'm pretty sure they still comply with new EU laws.
Those EU laws are going to severely stifle the creation and implementation of new types of data and charging cables. If a company designs a faster charging and faster data transfer cable than USB-C...the EU market will miss out on what could become a new "standard" until the law is rewritten.
I'm so confused if I should buy iPad pro M1 or Surface Pro 8, the price is the same for the 128gb. apple pencil 2 and slim pen 2 also in the same price. I'm mostly gonna use it for drawing and designing in illustrator or affinity designer but will be interested to use blender for some light modeling.
I think an Ipad is better if you’re more into art, but it’s up to you :)
