Thanks for the tour of the IC-7000. I have the IC-706MKIIG and I love it. Just ordered the IC-7000 from ebay and this was a very informative, quick review of some of the functions of the 7000. Based on your video, I think I'm going to really enjoy it.

Awesome comparison! I had a 706MKII until last week when I got a FT-710. I was always curios about the 7000.

I had both. I find that the 7000 is too busy for my taste. 706 is a classic that never gets boring.

Both great Sets agree about the simple way of the 706.

Adjust the RF gain and raise the volume to eliminate some noise.

706 mk2g forever. Audio is better for me and not has the problem abouth car power supply of 7000.
