    I remember back in the 80s when you came to Columbus (Klumbus) Ohio. You taught me the palomar knot and signed my hat from Ingram's Marina on Lake Talquin, Fla.
    May God continue to bless and keep you, Jimmy.

    Fun video Jimmy. I always am learning so much from your channel. I had no idea ponds needed fertilizing in it's own way. Thanks for sharing & God bless! 💞

    Now Jimmy this brings back memories. Never had anybody to show me how to fish and so 30+ years ago I learned how to fish a spinner bait by watching Jimmy Houston Outdoors. Always love watching you fish with one of those gems. Also great tips on some ways to make your local pond/lake just a little bit better with an an toward future generations. Good stuff!

    Great vid jimmy. I’m sure you have heard Houston was fired from you tube. How is that going to affect your channel. Hopefully it won’t but I know I watched you as a child and I’m sure there are tons of children that love to watch you fish. I’ve watched you for nearly 40 years and can’t get enough. God bless and good luck.

    Hey Jimmy, I am not a fisherwomen, so confused why do you put those huge fish back but take out the little ones? I would think it would be the opposite so the little ones grow

    • @jamesmims5850
      @jamesmims5850 4 роки тому

      You leave the big ones to spawn that’s where the population comes from. If you do not take smaller fish they will become stunted. So example you will have 20,000 bass in your pond / lake that r 2 pounds or less. It’s always good to keep the smaller fish for diner or to take them out and transplant into a new lake.

    • @TwinEagleRanch
      @TwinEagleRanch  4 роки тому

      Lori, I just read James reply and he explained it
      Pretty well. A lake will only hold only many pounds. Thanks. God Bless! jimmy
