      Well, I guess there are a lot of guns that can be put at the top of the list. Devilbliss DV1 is a GREAT gun as well.

    Very good advice.
    How many years one can use mid range priced guns, only needing to replace them within a year.
    Then there's the narrower fans, and with time, wear making the pattern uneven etc.
    I was like that for a long while as a part time painter, but moved to Iwata Belaria w400, then a Devilbiss GTI pro, and the DV1 spot for smaller jobs, those are all still going great, and the wide fans are simply so so good for the results.
    If I was painting full time I'd try a Walcom.

    Thank you for the video: Thank you for all your videos. I like the idea of the blower but doesn’t it use a lot of air from the compressor?

    • @lesskinner8588
      @lesskinner8588 2 роки тому

      Minimal to a workshop compressor system, needed for waterbase . . . fast drying.

      Thanks Les. How long does it take to dry this paint with the blower?

      @@PhillipHall01 sorry mate, I did reply to this earlier today, not sure where that went.
      5 - 10 mins for waterbase recoating with a simple double blower on a stand.
      I put a link to one, maybe that's why my previous reply disappeared ?
      I really don't like water that much, but have only just tried it for the first time recently.

      It also depends on the humidity. The summers where I'm at get pretty humid so waterbase dries a lot slower. I was using a blower stand like this but had aluminum venturi dryers. Even with a state of the art drying system condensation would form on the housing and spit water onto my panel. Very frustrating. The test market for waterborne was the southwest regions with dry heat. They would have good success until it was introduced to humid areas the a lot of shops went back to solvent.
