My grandfather told me that he was working on the dam wall. When they finished the wall they dropped all the tools that they used, down into the dam by the wall.

How close to the sluices can you safely go??

You can get close, the danger is not the sluices (if they are closed) but the canal intakes on the northern side.

@@lputh there are 2 canals that gives irrigation water to the farm's down stream. They are always open, you don't want to get sucked in there.
