When buying a QLED they don't tell you about the blinding brightness. I bought a new 65" early this year and the brightness gave me eyestrain/headaches. My partner suffered the same. I tried turning the back light down to a comfortable level but then 1/2 the scenes were to dark. Drove me nuts adjusting for every different bit of content, I could never find an optimal level. Recently I bought a new 65" C8 OLED. Auto brightness adjustment with eye care mode on is amazing, never have to adjust a thing. I can now watch TV all day with absolute comfort to the eye. Dolby Vision content is a real treat, just stunning picture quality. People have varying preference but after owning both and comparing side by side, I personally find OLED provides a superior more natural looking picture over QLED. I show no allegiance to any brand or technology, I've owned all the major brands, this is just my experience.

Could never find a picture I could leave alone on the Q9fn I had it for almost 3 weeks and I went back to BB and spoke with the manager and said hey I don't want to cause any waves but if I wanted to exchange my 65 inch Q9fn for the C8 would it be okay? He was like of course don't even trip, I was super grateful. Lg really is depriving it's customers of the 3d experience and it's just insane they took that away from their Oled line. If you ever saw 3d on an Oled screen you would be blown away, Jungle Book, Life of Pi, and many others.
I'm a gamer and use an LG 55" tv, so to avoid eye strain, I got a halogen light bar and spray painted the casing black with just enough of a slit running along the length of it. it helps reduce eye strain.
This is a great tv but I but I feel the motion handling could use some improvement. Even after tweaking the settings it's still noticeable. Straight out of the box it's damn near unwatchable. I had to turn dejudder up to at least 4 to smooth things out. Sometimes up to 7 but then the artifacting gets too annoying. Hopefully a firmware update in the future will help. I'm using a Panasonic UB820 so I know it's not my player.

I only bought the TV to have this feature which was also heavily promoted in LG advertising. Pretty shameful that LG released this updated firmware without properly testing it!
Anybody that thinks the samsung qled line is as good as this doesnt know much about TVs there comor accuracy is horrible skin tones are yellow not warm yellow and red and it just doesnt look right was horrible I hope other companies dont follow because it would be the start of bad years with TVs just because it won a few awards didnt win tv of the year hell fell 200 points behind was a horrible year side by side with sony and lg and there is a reason now yeah it has great color but so much that it pushes through on natural colors like skin tones there is yellow across the whole screen you can actually see it I'm not talking about a warmer picture I'm talking about yellow and red it's horrible but lg and sony def have it done and theres a reason because lg and sony use the same oled displays but sony just has a different chip
This tv sucks for its net speed u wont get constant net speed even your net is ok . It will drop net speed u wont able yo watch good quality content on it

My issue is while i check in tv s web browser its show perfect 40 mbps but many time in netflix speed shows like 2 mbps 1 mbps and i m unable to play content in netflix amazon prime or youtube it buffer even 1080 contenet . At the same time i can easy play 4k contenet without buffering on my other device using same internet . Also lg technical person visited 1 time but i guess they are lacking of knowledge about net they are like its buffering so net issue tv is ok call closed what to do?
@@HeryJoshi That was happening to me, and I went on some site and they said to disconect the wifi and restart it on the TV so I did and my problem went away. No more buffering and perfect 4k from my computer and from the installed apps.

You can play games no problem just don’t play only one game or mix it up with some movies or videos :)

They are both good in their own ways. It all comes down to what an individual wants from a TV. It's different strokes for different folks.
