Steve Buscemi Walks Into a Bar | Desperado (1995) | Now Playing
Steve Buscemi walks into the bar like, "How do you do, fellow Mexicans?"
Antonio Banderas starts sweating
A very warm welcome…
My fav opening of all time
LOL......and his T Shirt says Corona.
@@Johnnywhamo Shouldn't it say something like "Alcoholic Beer"?
"...full of *REAL LOWLIFES.* Not like the class acts here..." 😂😂😂
When he points the finger at the dildo looking at him 🤣😂🤣😂 and his little head movements when he is putting out his cigarette with is foot. And especially the way he says ‘That’s my beer’ 🍺 🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂
Mr Pink knows how to tell a story for sure.
and he know how to walk away without paying too.
True that, Master P: and he didn’t tip…or pay his tab !
Actually, his heads-up story was a pretty big fat tip!
Mr Pink...? Sounds too much like Mr Pussy...!! I think I`ll be Mr purple...
Mr. Pink don't tip or pay.
I remember watching this in the theatre when it came out and in the middle of this scene I turned to a friend and said , "I love this movie "- and that was before I first saw Salma Hayek. Steve Buscemi is great in everything.
Saw this as a preteen and had the same thought…. “Man this is fuckin cool”
The humor in this is timeless. Took my mom to see it, she is not an action movie fan but she left winded.
Salma Hayek gives me an erroneous baronous
My favourite scene was when Bucho was getting mad at his henchmen.
"What I can't understand is how can you let him get away when you knew where he was?"
"You drive around town, you see someone you don't know, you shoot them. How hard is that, huh?"
"Look over there. I don't know him. Never seen him before. Look he has a gun. It must be him!" Blammm! "How hard is that?" ?
Did you two start kissing?
Hey guys don't overlook Cheech Marin's role in this scene. It's perfection. Have you ever seen such suspicious eyes? :)
He’s absolutely amazing class act 😂 I love his suspicious looks he constantly makes
@@alexandercarder2281 Reminiscent of Eli Wallach in The Good The Bad and The Ugly :)
"These guys were world-class turds".
I don't know why, but that line leaves me in hysterics every time.
And I want that neon sign, "The client is always wrong". Along with a beer tap that belches when it pours. LOL!!
Steve Buscemi even does a suttle burp action in time with the the belching beer tap 😂😂😂
Asking the bartender for a new, clean mug when you've almost finished your beer in it is simply genius.
imma try that next time im at the bar lol
"F@€k you man, it's the cleanest one I got" 😅
That’s Cheech Marin!
@@Spocklee you'll get THOSE stares........
It's the same as eating ur fast food and returning it saying you asked for no pickles. Kinda fucking dumb.
One of my absolute favorite scenes of all time. Steve Buscemi's delivery, the cool ass music, the cinematography and editing of the flashbacks; perfection.
I can never hear this song without seeing buscemis face while he’s stubbing out his cig with his foot and his little head movements and that self satisfied face 😂😂😂😂
I've always loved this scene, and Steve Buscemi steals every scene he has in this movie.
From the hair to the black jacket Banderas was the epitome of cool in the neo-noir western. Loved this movie from the beginning and glad to see it has aged like a fine wine.
Cheech Marín doing the bartender on this movie.
PRICELESS!
Yeah I'm surprised that toothpick wasn't a joint, hahaha
I guess you have seen him as the pitch man for the Titty Twister in From Dusk Till Dawn? Hilarious.... Then his final line in the movie as he changed to his vampire version.. "You know what they say about me huh? I suck..."
@@Bikedueder He was also the border guard in Dusk Til dawn, 3 parts in one film...!!!
@@Bikeduederwas about to say that 😂😂😂 Smelly pussssssssy
Steve Buscemi is such a great actor.
And Mark Knopfler's "Six Blade Knife" in the background. Perfection.
Steve Buscemi is one of the finest Hollywood ever had the pleasure to meet. He the man!
Don't know where to start with this. Every detail of this scene, every actor, every line is pure fking gold.
"So the bartender lived?" XD
"The Client is Always Wrong" 🤣🤣🤣
i need that sign jajajaa
Love that sign 👌
I'll rewatch Desperado over and over again just because of how entertaining the opening scene is 😂😂
for real
I've never heard anything more 90s core than the music that kicks in when Buscemi walks in.
Steve Buscemi a FDNY firefighter that went out to the ruins of 9/11 to find his fellow fallen comrades. 100% respect for the little guy.
I heard he had sx with some of the dead bodies. Kind of gross if u ask me
Damn right.
Dire Straits is always perfect background tunes
Nah, it was Culture Club...
@@fobbitoperator3620 I think it was Six Blade Knife, by Dire Straits
@@reginaschellhaas1395 You're right, I was just being a smarmy jackass. (too much coffee)
Link Wray - Jack the Ripper is the song in the shootout
I'd like to add Tarantula - Strange Face of Love
One of my favorite movies 😂. I used to watch this everyday before school lol
I've never seen or heard of this movie, but now I want to watch it.
Highly underrated acting genius-Buscemi
love how he just walks in steps on his cigarettes for 2 mins, disrespecting the place as soon and whole time Cheech Marins homeboy is just measuring him up.
Pretty slick when he brushes his hair back and then brings that hand cannon from behind his back
That man can play any character. Any at all.
Idk why I have to watch this scene again and again and again
One of the best supporting actors of all time. OF ALL TIME!
Hahaha that smirk on his face when he looks back up and around at everyone after he’s put his smoke out 😂
Can’t get bored of this movie!
Another vote for Steve Buscemi as a national treasure! He's brilliant!
the first time i tried kicking heroin, this was either on TV, or i had a DVD of it playing. i vaguely recall it, but id drank a bottle of Herradura silver , to try & cut down on some of the detox pain. the whole movie seemed like it was red, like red lighting. i swear the movie just kept playing on loop too, or the scenes, i will never forget that day. ive still never watched the movie really, all these years later still.
cool story
here's hoping you put that demon to rest my friend
I discovered this movie as a kid in the 90s, found it in a basement cupboard my dad had left and I watched it over and over and over again, the coolest f'ing movie. I was obsessed with it, havent watched it in 20 years partly because I was afraid it wouldnt be as good seeing it as a grown up. Now after watching this clip I cant wait to watch it again. Its funny to me because this movie is always what I thought a Quintin movie was suppose to be but he is actually in the movie so its proper crazy and stange I cant explain it.
Steve Buscemi is most underrated actor ever...
This is definitely the best beginning scene to a movie ever, when I first watched this movie I was immediately hooked just by how good this scene was. It gave me Quentin Tarantino film vibes, and then SPOILER he actually comes in later 😂
This entire scene is mesmerizing
This movie was BOSS back in 95
Classic
What a great underrated actor of all times.
He is such a great actor!!! Love him!
Best cameo actor of all time and Boardwalk Empire was great
"THE CLIENT IS ALWAYS WRONG"
We all have that nosy neighbor that looks and talks like Steve 😂
The part is 'Dogs' where Steve Buscemi just walks in, looks at the bodies, blood and chaos, looks at the case of diamonds, picks them up and walks out like he was picking up a bag of clothes is so god damn funny and awesome at the same time.
Steve Buscemi walking in there like:
"How do you do, fellow Mexicans...?"
i think the bar scene was the best scene in the entire movie
Cool movie and incredible soundtrack , I miss the 90’s .
The moment you can watch 100 times and never regret))
Same😂
The soundtrack was 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is my favorite scene of his in any movie outside of burying the suitcase in Fargo.
I always laughed at the half vomit/burp noise that the tap makes when he pours the beer.
The client is always wrong 😂❤
Steve is a legend 🎉
I absolutely love that man . Figuratively of course
Well he said something like "bitch....or Butcho" 😂😂
What's it mean?
It's a name
One of the best opening scenes of any movie
Love Steve.
Always delivers.
Love the movie, but this is absolutely my favorite scene.
An amazing story teller! Steve should be served all the beer he needs to keep going in his story telling! 😏😏😏
The bar tender in that sketch is to die for! A friendly yet scary bar tender. Actually every customers in that bar had class! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great story!
My favourite opening scene of all time.
Steve is so versatile.
I love how likeable and friendly he is through this whole story
Steve Buscemi=GOAT🐐
I can't believe I never saw this movie! Now i'll have to find it!
That's not a gun! It's a f****ng bazooka!!! 😂😂
when i first saw this movie i was so blown away. laughin my ass off. how he claps the mexican on his back on his way out.... 😂 oh my
One of the best scenes ever!
I love buscemis quick exit after the story is finished 😂
steve hombre if no one else can play a role you are the man in the hat epic
Bad Steve ❤
I ❤ Cheech Marin. Fantastic actor.
He's perfection here. Have you ever seen such suspicious eyes? :)
At 2:54? the guy says, "Esto huele cargado" Which apparently means, 'Smells like bullshit" 🤣
Protect this man at all cost
he's a f@ckng National Treasure
90s were the best era we had, glad I was growing up back then and watched movies like this, not the crap what we have now :). And Buscemi? This guy was great in everything. Such an awesome actor.
Brilliant! Loved every second
I like how he uses the double barrel way more than the Striker because of reliability
Classic scene swear this movie never gets old
Great actor underrated
Cheach Marin drinking with the tooth pick in his mouth is the best but how does they say: The bar tender never gets killed :-))
I love Steve Buscemi, he awesome. This scene he’s so cool and funny at the same time with the sweet tune playing 😂😂😂😂
A master piece… still watching it
i love how he pulls out the street sweeper and one marshall (no akimbo attachment)
beautifully shot bar scene!
one of the best Western of all time...
Randall from Monsters, Inc telling Ramone from Cars about the Fearless Hero, Puss In Boots.
Monologue is hard to pull of the longer it lasts. This guy is good.
I love that scene and Steve Buscemi. He knows how to surprise.
Great movie, the music in this film is perfection. Rodriguez did a fantastic job for the budget he had to work with.
Desperado had some fire music 🎵🎶
my favorite roles of Steve this and Con Air he is a genius.
I went on a first date with a woman who laughed at the fact that I loved this movie
It was also the last date LOL
I guess it's not at the top of the chic flick list of movies ;)
@@matoko123 There's a certain type of woman, perhaps in the minority of women, perhaps indeed a *cool* woman, who would enjoy the ostentatious camp and over-the-top machismo of this movie
@@pmarreck You're not wrong and you're a lucky man if you find one. After all these years I'm still searching :)
@@matoko123at least we know we’re cut from the same cloth even if we never find our perfect pillow to wrap 😉
Can anyone translate what the bar guy says in Spanish at 2:55 to make the whole bar laugh?
He said: esto huele a cagada. Basically he’s trying to say he’s bullshiting 🤣
@@s4v4ge167 Thank you! I waited almost a year for someone to answer that for me here in July 2024
@@bobbillings lol no problem!

I love the neon sign.. the client is always wrong
One of the most epic scenes in movie history.
Probably one of the most greatest all time movie openings of all time!
The client is always wrong 😂😂😂
idc what anyone says, he's a good looking man
Best movie of all times
I fng love Steve Buscemi. Just getting myself through boardwalk empire.. he's so fng good. God dammit Donnie.
Yeah. Boardwalk Empire. He is phenomenal in that, for sure. Nucky. What a role.
We need a ten minute loop of Buscemi stomping out his cigarette.
I liked how the bartender (Cheech Marin) calls the other bar and says... "There was no answer..." OHHHHHHHHHH SNAP!
My favourite bar scene ever.
"Fuck you man that's the cleanest one I got". Great ;)
