Why HG keep cooking something horrible for .5 anniversary??? The stupid restriction on her skill 3 really hold her ability to actually same par with phantom (yes she is worse than phantom) Skill 1 is just red S1 (maybe red is much better) Skill 2 is funniest one, she does nothing for 10 seconds and then fart 😂 Can't believe they're making my first fast redeploy executor this bad
I think the first draft for her S3 is "Attack twice every second" but then someone said "guys, this is .5 anniversary welfare, you know" and then everyone agreed to "okay, lets reverse it. One attack every 2 second it is" It genuinely looks dope, just, the number is horrible.
@@Kokokbeluk crownslayers damage is better if enemies def is lower than 1300 (but yeah after skill duration red still excel). You can also compare her with gravel. Which one is better, reduce accurate + dodge or giga chad HP and DEF.? Skill 2 is does nothing for 8s 🤣 You can try her to make your ops evade with 62,5% chance, but silence is better make you immortal. No comment with her 3rd skill.. 😂
They proplably have a guildline of how to make 6* welfare .5 anni ops: - Since these welfare ops used to be 5*s so let's not making them stronger than a 5* welfare .5 anni op - The other 6* welfare .5 anni ops are pretty bad so make sure all future 6* welfare .5 anni ops are as bad as them or worse.
the best part abt crownslayer is that it's making people realize that vigil, lessing, and silence alter were actually good after all (well vigil wasn't.. but his module actually makes him viable now)
Vigil was always viable, it's just that people complained (I speak in the past tense since since their module came out there are not so many complaints) because their wolves did not have the same defense and attack statistics as the other two operators of the same archetype, but that is compensated by the semi-immortality of his wolves since instead of entering a state of rest he simply lost a spirit and continued the fight until the spirits were destroyed or Vigil was removed/eliminated, by the way speaking of Vigil @Kokokbeluk Could you do a showcase of him with his module please?
i mean on release ppl really underestimated silence alt, saying shes worse than quercus. But she has slowly trickled into many clears and now shes ok I have actually seen people use vigil in nicheknights, mainly lupo vanguard and welfare. Hes actually not that bad tbh, at least he has a niche use case Lessing tho i have only seen in welfare😂
I feel like the idea behind S3 was for it to be more of a support skill that you put down on enemies attacking your team, to disturb their attack and give the other ops some breathing room. Something that sounds nice in theory but gets screwed over by the long attack interval. Maybe, If you used her on a larger group of enemies so that she always has someone new to attack, it could make her a little more effective? But even then, 2 seconds attack interval on 16 seconds skill is still painfully slow.
Larger group but then she also target caps anyways.... LOL She does like the standard DpS of an ST operator... that is off skill, but only vs multiple enemies (where you'd want multitarget, AoE, or splash vs anyways) :P

Can hit once every second, random target, prioritize target that she has not attacked yet, inflict 4s stun on hit. If she hit a stunned enemy, inflict 4s bind instead. If she hit binded enemy, inflict stun instead. With this kit, low HP target will just die, she can be useful against swarm and single target, she can work in tandem with both stun and bind team, permastun a single target, and stun immune single enemy will instead be permabinded for 15s.
@@slonik0002 70% hit rate down for 8 seconds. With AoE 3400 physical nuke at the end (max everything). If you can kill anything blinded in those 8 seconds duration, chances are she is not needed. If an enemy hits so hard you need accuracy down, 8s is not enough and her damage doesnt help either. If you can hold off a group of enemies in 8 seconds until her nuke poped off, then both of the above case apply.
Someone pointed out that Hypergryph seems to specifically hate half year anniversary 6 star welfares, as the anniversary ones (Gladiia, Lumen, Silence Alter, and Civilight Eterna) are all good ops, while the half year ones (Vigil, Lessing, and Crownslayer) are bad. Just something to think about
@@shadowsear1312 but why Vigil are bad? A normal operator, in my opinion, copes with his task. I had no problems with using him. Lessing is also quite ok, although I never really used him, I just promoted him up to Elite 2 Lv 60 and forgot about him, because I basically almost never use operators of his type.
@DM_GeneralD I think it's because of their restrictions. Vigil actually does some decent damage, the only problem is that his defense ignore on his second talent and the arts damage on his third skill only work when he's attacking an enemy blocked by his wolfpack. Like, those two things combined with Tactician's trait of dealing more damage to enemies blocked by their tactician point really all add up and causes Vigil to deal some serious damage, it's just that he HAS to attack an enemy blocked by the Wolfpack to get that damage. Meanwhile with Lessing, his first talent causes it that when he's blocking an enemy, he takes less damage from enemies that he's not blocking, which is a tad counterproductive. His skill 3 is actually not a bad skill, tho, and his second talent also isn't that bad. Something I'm a little annoyed by actually is that Lessing held the niche of his skill 3 removing his own statuses for, like, barely any time at all, as Pepe is releasing on global in a little under two months and her skill 1 does that but more often, automatically, can hold charges, and without damaging her (like, Lessing got to have his niche for alittle over a year I believe, and I think that's just very unfair to him. However, Pepe is a limited operator, while Lessing is free, so he will still have that going for him)
Whoever put those restrictions on her S3 is the person who hates .5 Welfares. It is entirely unneeded. Let her be a stun-bot, at least she'd have a god damn purpose then. Hell, if they really wanted to put a restriction on it: Attacks once per second, cannot hit the same target for two seconds. This would make it so she can get off a potential 16 attacks across the duration, and 8 hits on a single target. Lower the stun time to 1.5s so it's not perma stun but still good CC uptime. Done. I fixed her S3.
@@laempanadaflamer You know that they will never listen especially when it comes to free ops, unless it is a massive outrage and their income start dipping (which will probably never gonna happen since they have been doing this for more than 2 years now and the money is still coming in and there hasn't been an outrage that has this thing as the main reason). At best they will make a future gacha op that is a carbon copy of her (or at least similar) but way better (or even broken) or they give her an alter.
Or just go all in on her passive and let the cloud have insane hit rate reduction also shared to allied units within the cloud, problem is HG can't settle with her kit's direction that it ended up just becoming straight up ass 😭😭😭

So they make one an op as a show of care for the community which if done right i like. How ever with crownslayer they notice that we love her character (In different funny ways) and make her an op which how they did it in the event i love, but they didn't pay much attention to how she would fit-in as an operator. How it scares me how (if) they would implement Talulah because we have had nothing on her for some time..
I hope CN/JP fans actually make some noise about CS and pressure HG to fix her, this is ridiculous since she's a well known villain by new and old fans. She deserves better.
@@jonnevitu4979 Impossible. It's ingrained in her skill and modules (not IS) are always about their talents, it's not gonna fix her 6 seconds cooldown. The only way to buff her is for HG to actually acknowledge how bad she is and completely change her kit or buff it.
Tbh her utility is whatever too to big extent The long down time just doesnt help and being single target on big range means its super easy to distract But this clear shows that the range can be a benefit! Kok cooked!
Inclined to say yes, with the caveat of Vigil is actually a decent unit that people underrate. I just wish she could hit more frequently overall, and the same target more frequently. One of my most wanted units but she's both bad in crowded situations by being single target and bad in single target situations by delayed targeting. I guess her ideal is two total targets maybe? But even then it's lackluster. She's.... maybe better than the 5 star executors, but honestly Red at least has aoe on her stun, and kafka likewise actually has aoe on her cc. Then she just doesn't for some reason. If she ever finds a place it's not with s3, but S2's like 63% evasion at mod3m3 still just sounds like hitting your head against the rng wall.
As someone who HAS vigil, obviously, and is a Ho'olheyak enjoyer (she spooked me but i finally got her to E2 somewhat recently) I really dont see how Crownie can be worse than that utter trash. He's worse than Courier. Its a good thing hes hot because Vigil does nothing and his wet tissue dogs die to anything stronger than a red slug....
@@Nazuiko CS is almost unusably bad, it's a wonder Kokok found an use for her. Also no, Vigil is considerably better off than Courier. I accept that he is lackluster for a 6* but he quickly became my anni vanguard pick with s1, nothing can really hurt his stupid dogs until 300-350 enemies mark and until then he is an auto dp generating hands off vanguard who can block 3 and kill weak drones on his own. This means he has at least one more use than CS.

it's crazy that even her survivability isn't even the best among the frd because even gravel aside, phantom s1 exists which not only gives dodge and a barrier, but also he has the clone for double body so even if that fails completely or it isn't s1, he's guaranteed 2 hits blocked
Delta module might save her and Game mode specific module will save her (like what they did to Phantom, Kal'sit, Angelina and Rosmontis). But these are pure copium at best.
Id say a mini rework with her abilities, if it's need an op for stalling I'd rather use Gravel or Texas alter depending of what i need which is sad because CS is one of my favorite characters in the Game/Anime
i kinda see the idea they messed up so badly reduce that insane 6 sec interval and add a much longer skill duration and now she becomes like a fast redeploy single target ambusher also fits the word ambusher more than an aoe dodge tank
HG... come on... No one would be complaining about her if she wasn't the same archetype as TEXALTER and KIRIN R YATO. Like come on man, obviously there will inevitably be some gap in power between welfare operators 6 star and limited 6 star operators, but this is ridiculous. Her attack interval could easily be quartered and it still wouldn't be anywhere near as broken as those two, but then at least a year 5 welfare op would be about on par with a year 1 standard op, istg.

Her s3 problem is not about slow attack or damage but the "can't attack the same target in long mount of time(about 3 attack apart)" for whatever reason and she did nothing at all in those silent time
would be nice if there was shifter shenanigans with Crownslayer's kit, like a talent that's "can be influenced by shift and after shift ends, redeploy on the new tile" and we could make her fall down a hole

Them releasing Wisadel and then showcasing this is just... not even tone deaf, just downright insulting. This is Viviana - Arturia banner all over again but welfare. At least Vivi can be used to kill lined up elites (and can do so faster than Surtr actually) so there is that one niche. Crownslayer on the other hand ? You gotta ask yourself if at this point its intentional for them to ruin any old lore NPC > Operator on purpose. I dont even want Frostnova anymore, even if they brought her "back from the dead" in similar fashion like Theresa (I am calling her that) she would probably be treated like crap by them just like Crownie and others.
I like the idea they had for CS s3 witg creating some sort of killzone that debuffs the enemy and let her cut them from the shadows, but damn execution of the idea really sucks
I just wish her S3 was more unique in its current state it’s like a weird project red S2 that has a wider area but hits enemies one at a time instead of all at once like maybe give her elemental damage(fire I guess for her smoke effects) or like a debuff other than accuracy
So from what I see Her s3 best if you actually use it when theres a crowd of enemies. So they all get the damage before 6 seconds to attack same target again
Totally peak S3. Her talent reduced enemies hit rate by 20%/25% which is really low. The problem is obvious. The solution is obvious. What should her S3 do? Increase the multiplier so enemies will miss the attack more. But of course HG said it's better to increase her range and ignore the entire problem of her talent. Bruh, it reduced enemies hit rate not giving friend operator a dodge. You're going to deploy her on top of enemies not a friend. 3x3 square is already big enough. Like, can they just give her S3 a good utility. For example, Enemies get hit by her S3 will have their hit rate reduced further more (30% reduction for example). Second hit and further will boost the reduction by 10% up to 30%. With this, she will have 85% hit rate reduction (with module). It's still has a drawback since it's random and can't attack same enemy for few seconds. Also, 85% isn't 100%. But, at least it synergize with her talents and makes her more useful in a niche content. With her current kit, I better use Silence Alter for immortality rather than gambling 1/4 dodge and sacrificing my sanity.
I was about to defend Crownslayer as more of an IS operator, cause maybe aspd helps her s3, but then I read her s3. Why the actual hell did hg think this would be okay? Are they scared to make good welfares? I mean, they made Civilight Eterna, who is very good imo. She does her job and she does it well. But god forbid they make 2 banger ops in a row. @@rachel6301 I typed up an essay for this but imma make that a video cause I can. Basically, the original comment was me raging. I've researched a little bit, and I've come to a better, more thorough conclusion. Basically, Crownslayer isn't bad. If you look at the executor branch, you'll see that all the 6*s share skills with the lower rarity ops. Texas the Omertosa's s1 is essentially Red's s1, Phantom's s1 is Gravel's s1, Phantom's s2 is essentially Red's s1. Executors in general aren't very original. Their s3's are what make them stand out. Texas the Omertosa's s3 is very "I am the bone of my sword", Phantom's s3 Has a push, which is unique in the executor branch. And Kirin R. Yato... well, she's a crossover op so she doesn't count. Anyway, Their s3's are unique, and are mostly good. Most importantly, they give the operators flavor. Crownslayer's flavor is just nightmare. RNG hell, if you will. Her entire kit (except s3 funnily enough) is RNG based. If she gets hit too much with s1, the auto is ruined. If she gets hit by an enemy who isn't allowed to hit her with s2, the auto fails. (btw, I mean that if an enemy has to be killed by her and it would survive if it hits her.) s3 is the most consistent skill she has because it makes her invincible (so she always gets her talent 2 damage increase). The problem is that she attacks every 2 seconds, and that the attacking speed is fixed. The attack interval isn't tied to the attack interval. It BECOMES 2, not INCREASES to 2. You can't just increase her aspd to get more hits (also she has that dumb 6 second attack restriction). That's why she feels bad. Too rng dependent, and s3 isn't modifiable in any way, and also slow. If hg made the attack interval 1.5 seconds, it would feel much better (also lower the attack restriction to like 5). tl;dr Crownslayer is RNG hell and s3 is not tuned correctly. This is why she feels bad. (after writing the revision of this comment i've realized i've written yet another essay lmao)

There is literally no reason to make a character this bad, outside April Fools funnies. People aren't asking to make her broken, just actually usable. What's the point of spending so many resources on art, voice acting, coding, and play testing to make a character that's praxtically useless? At that point don't even bother making one. This applies to most welfares.
@@MilkyNep HG has always been stingy with .5 anni 6* welfare ops, there is a reason why both Lessing and Vigil (and their pots) can't be reclaimed again (when you already have them) in their respective reruns while both of the are already very underwhelming/extremely niche. Then they reverted that system back to the shop system like all of the other events in the 5.5 anni, that is probably why they made CS even worse than the other 2.
my favorite is realizing W and Crownslayer are pretty much the same half-cooked boss enemy type, but one got the best 6* in the game...some reason that doesn't know how to dress and the other one got the worst 6* in the game and actually has a design that looks cool so it feels hella wasted...man
In summary, they just wasted all those money for commision on CS art & VA just so for CS to be a the most hated operator in history of Welfare Operators.
I like how they butchered her S3 to the point it can't even fulfill a niche (trash mob clearer, elite/boss stunlocker) since it makes her atk every 2s instead of 1s and her same target CD is a whopping 6 seconds, so she literally does nothing if you want her to stun a boss. Meanwhile, Figurino, the 5* merchant they released in the same update, can bind up to 4 enemies for 8s and all he needs is 25DP for the skill to work. And not to mention that he needs minimal amount of investment to function as a merchant op (E2 and lvl.1 module) which is cheaper for him as 5* compared to Crownslayer's 6* costs. You don't even need masteries for his skill since it has an unchanging 8s CD, you only need SL7 to increase the target cap from 3 -->4. He also deals some decent dmg with his skill when combined with his talent.
S1 being "6-star red s1" is kinda disappointing, S2 being slow in service of her talent 1 for an executor who's all about speed is hilarious, and S3 feels like they might have undertuned it too much (seriously why is the same-attack cooldown as long as 3 enemies). "anti-cc lmao" Lessing should have been a lesson to HG that bottlenecking operators to fulfil a niche isn't smart, and they did it again with "dodge lmao" crownslayer.
They won't learn a thing from these, unless it directly affects their income (which it doesn't, that is why they are still doing it for 2 year straight now).
During her s3 Zaro can't bleed her? What about lava tiles, tiles with effects? Like dmg up with dot? Can Aak and warfi target her? (I know that nothing can save her, just wondering) Feel extra sad about her. I've kink for chars with mask and hood. I like idea behind her kit, but realization so garbage.

His skill 3 is actually not a bad skill, tho, and his second talent also isn't that bad. Something I'm a little annoyed by actually is that Lessing held the niche of his skill 3 removing his own statuses for, like, barely any time at all, as Pepe is releasing on global in a little under two months and her skill 1 does that but more often, automatically, can hold charges, and without damaging her (like, Lessing got to have his niche for alittle over a year I believe, and I think that's just very unfair to him. However, Pepe is a limited operator, while Lessing is free, so he will still have that going for him)

Hell, if they really wanted to put a restriction on it:
Attacks once per second, cannot hit the same target for two seconds.
This would make it so she can get off a potential 16 attacks across the duration, and 8 hits on a single target. Lower the stun time to 1.5s so it's not perma stun but still good CC uptime.

@@laempanadaflamer You know that they will never listen especially when it comes to free ops, unless it is a massive outrage and their income start dipping (which will probably never gonna happen since they have been doing this for more than 2 years now and the money is still coming in and there hasn't been an outrage that has this thing as the main reason). At best they will make a future gacha op that is a carbon copy of her (or at least similar) but way better (or even broken) or they give her an alter.
Or just go all in on her passive and let the cloud have insane hit rate reduction also shared to allied units within the cloud, problem is HG can't settle with her kit's direction that it ended up just becoming straight up ass 😭😭😭

Inclined to say yes, with the caveat of Vigil is actually a decent unit that people underrate.
I just wish she could hit more frequently overall, and the same target more frequently.
One of my most wanted units but she's both bad in crowded situations by being single target and bad in single target situations by delayed targeting. I guess her ideal is two total targets maybe? But even then it's lackluster.
She's.... maybe better than the 5 star executors, but honestly Red at least has aoe on her stun, and kafka likewise actually has aoe on her cc. Then she just doesn't for some reason.
If she ever finds a place it's not with s3, but S2's like 63% evasion at mod3m3 still just sounds like hitting your head against the rng wall.

As someone who HAS vigil, obviously, and is a Ho'olheyak enjoyer (she spooked me but i finally got her to E2 somewhat recently)
I really dont see how Crownie can be worse than that utter trash. He's worse than Courier. Its a good thing hes hot because Vigil does nothing and his wet tissue dogs die to anything stronger than a red slug....

@@Nazuiko CS is almost unusably bad, it's a wonder Kokok found an use for her. Also no, Vigil is considerably better off than Courier. I accept that he is lackluster for a 6* but he quickly became my anni vanguard pick with s1, nothing can really hurt his stupid dogs until 300-350 enemies mark and until then he is an auto dp generating hands off vanguard who can block 3 and kill weak drones on his own.
This means he has at least one more use than CS.

it's crazy that even her survivability isn't even the best among the frd because even gravel aside, phantom s1 exists which not only gives dodge and a barrier, but also he has the clone for double body so even if that fails completely or it isn't s1, he's guaranteed 2 hits blocked

Id say a mini rework with her abilities, if it's need an op for stalling I'd rather use Gravel or Texas alter depending of what i need which is sad because CS is one of my favorite characters in the Game/Anime

HG... come on... No one would be complaining about her if she wasn't the same archetype as TEXALTER and KIRIN R YATO. Like come on man, obviously there will inevitably be some gap in power between welfare operators 6 star and limited 6 star operators, but this is ridiculous. Her attack interval could easily be quartered and it still wouldn't be anywhere near as broken as those two, but then at least a year 5 welfare op would be about on par with a year 1 standard op, istg.

Crownslayer on the other hand ? You gotta ask yourself if at this point its intentional for them to ruin any old lore NPC > Operator on purpose. I dont even want Frostnova anymore, even if they brought her "back from the dead" in similar fashion like Theresa (I am calling her that) she would probably be treated like crap by them just like Crownie and others.
I like the idea they had for CS s3 witg creating some sort of killzone that debuffs the enemy and let her cut them from the shadows, but damn execution of the idea really sucks

Crownslayer takes the 'crown' of being the new weakest 6-star operator in the game. She made Lessing, Phantom and Vigil look good.
Phantom was always decent or good in some cases as an assasin unit, Texas and Yato are just too cracked

Totally peak S3. Her talent reduced enemies hit rate by 20%/25% which is really low.
The problem is obvious. The solution is obvious. What should her S3 do? Increase the multiplier so enemies will miss the attack more.
But of course HG said it's better to increase her range and ignore the entire problem of her talent.
Bruh, it reduced enemies hit rate not giving friend operator a dodge. You're going to deploy her on top of enemies not a friend. 3x3 square is already big enough.
Like, can they just give her S3 a good utility. For example,
Enemies get hit by her S3 will have their hit rate reduced further more (30% reduction for example). Second hit and further will boost the reduction by 10% up to 30%.
With this, she will have 85% hit rate reduction (with module). It's still has a drawback since it's random and can't attack same enemy for few seconds. Also, 85% isn't 100%.
But, at least it synergize with her talents and makes her more useful in a niche content. With her current kit, I better use Silence Alter for immortality rather than gambling 1/4 dodge and sacrificing my sanity.

Are they scared to make good welfares? I mean, they made Civilight Eterna, who is very good imo. She does her job and she does it well. But god forbid they make 2 banger ops in a row. Grow up, hg, grow up.
She is a 6* .5 anni welfare op and CV is 5th anni. It will be more fair if you compare her to he the other 2 6* .5 anni ops
@@rachel6301 I typed up an essay for this but imma make that a video cause I can. Basically, the original comment was me raging. I've researched a little bit, and I've come to a better, more thorough conclusion. Basically, Crownslayer isn't bad. If you look at the executor branch, you'll see that all the 6*s share skills with the lower rarity ops. Texas the Omertosa's s1 is essentially Red's s1, Phantom's s1 is Gravel's s1, Phantom's s2 is essentially Red's s1. Executors in general aren't very original. Their s3's are what make them stand out. Texas the Omertosa's s3 is very "I am the bone of my sword", Phantom's s3 Has a push, which is unique in the executor branch. And Kirin R. Yato... well, she's a crossover op so she doesn't count. Anyway, Their s3's are unique, and are mostly good. Most importantly, they give the operators flavor. Crownslayer's flavor is just nightmare. RNG hell, if you will. Her entire kit (except s3 funnily enough) is RNG based. If she gets hit too much with s1, the auto is ruined. If she gets hit by an enemy who isn't allowed to hit her with s2, the auto fails. (btw, I mean that if an enemy has to be killed by her and it would survive if it hits her.) s3 is the most consistent skill she has because it makes her invincible (so she always gets her talent 2 damage increase). The problem is that she attacks every 2 seconds, and that the attacking speed is fixed. The attack interval isn't tied to the attack interval. It BECOMES 2, not INCREASES to 2. You can't just increase her aspd to get more hits (also she has that dumb 6 second attack restriction). That's why she feels bad. Too rng dependent, and s3 isn't modifiable in any way, and also slow. If hg made the attack interval 1.5 seconds, it would feel much better (also lower the attack restriction to like 5).
tl;dr Crownslayer is RNG hell and s3 is not tuned correctly. This is why she feels bad.

Are Hypergryph game designers some sort of supernatural creatures whose balancing decisions are determined by the time of year?
There is literally no reason to make a character this bad, outside April Fools funnies. People aren't asking to make her broken, just actually usable. What's the point of spending so many resources on art, voice acting, coding, and play testing to make a character that's praxtically useless? At that point don't even bother making one.

@@MilkyNep HG has always been stingy with .5 anni 6* welfare ops, there is a reason why both Lessing and Vigil (and their pots) can't be reclaimed again (when you already have them) in their respective reruns while both of the are already very underwhelming/extremely niche. Then they reverted that system back to the shop system like all of the other events in the 5.5 anni, that is probably why they made CS even worse than the other 2.

my favorite is realizing W and Crownslayer are pretty much the same half-cooked boss enemy type, but one got the best 6* in the game...some reason that doesn't know how to dress and the other one got the worst 6* in the game and actually has a design that looks cool so it feels hella wasted...man

In summary, they just wasted all those money for commision on CS art & VA just so for CS to be a the most hated operator in history of Welfare Operators.
I like how they butchered her S3 to the point it can't even fulfill a niche (trash mob clearer, elite/boss stunlocker) since it makes her atk every 2s instead of 1s and her same target CD is a whopping 6 seconds, so she literally does nothing if you want her to stun a boss.
Meanwhile, Figurino, the 5* merchant they released in the same update, can bind up to 4 enemies for 8s and all he needs is 25DP for the skill to work. And not to mention that he needs minimal amount of investment to function as a merchant op (E2 and lvl.1 module) which is cheaper for him as 5* compared to Crownslayer's 6* costs. You don't even need masteries for his skill since it has an unchanging 8s CD, you only need SL7 to increase the target cap from 3 -->4. He also deals some decent dmg with his skill when combined with his talent.
atp the only hope she has is a module upgrade that somehow fixes her kit... T-T
