I assume when something goes wrong with this it cannot be serviced by a local bike dealer and it is considered as a nice display in your garage or storage?
Suspension is not needed it is just extra weight to carry up and down the stairs, throttle riding is a lazy man eBike usage. Tis funny to watch a group of riders on the way to work never spinning the pedals. I understand everyone has their own preference, but throttle users do not need an expensive eBike when sit down scooter are much cheaper...
And a very weak titted motor at only 35 nm, so work your butt off getting up hills, and with carbon belt you loose leg leverage. Single speed and you have something you can ride on flats for maybe 10 miles at more than 15 mph unless you want to pedal as fast as a gerbil on a gerbil tread wheel going nowhere. Teeny battery will have way too many charge cycle too soon, and you will be buying a new one in maybe 2 seasons if you are lucky, and by then your range will be only80% of what it was new, if the battery still works.
I ordered and payed the thing November last year to get it in February to Germany. But up to now nothing arrived. What is going on there? From Urtopia obviously no reliable information is available to me. Shipment tracking data I got from Urtopia is unusable. In the meanwhile I am not sure if the bike is coming at all. Anybody has "real" infos about shipment time?
Chinese do the jobs Americans dont want to do. Like Dave Chapelle said, "I wanna wear Nike not make em." This is a big world. You might wanna get use to the fact that America isn't the only country that matters buddy.
@@MovingSocks2.0 something tells me you'd have a problem with a bike made in Japan, Mexico or any non-white country. Typical Fox news/ Trump supporter that thinks any country outside of Europe is a threat.
Purchase and mount a tubeless tire that will self heal, they are normally lighter than tires on eBikes. Normal wear or considered replaceables parts on bicycles, same as a car tire with nail or puncture in the sidewall...
Why are you reinventing the bicycle frame? Ride1up gravel or KBO Hurricane are both stealth eBikes that appear to be like a normal bicycle with a almost 10 ah batteries, yes they appear to be a standard bicycle to most other riders. Most people in the inter cities live in condos, apartments and walk-ups without a freight elevator and need to carry their eBikes up and down the stairs daily to commute to and from their workplace. Short trips for grocery, or a pub visit after work the bicycle does not need all the fancy cell phone electronics, or features of a VanMoof e-bike. Please give consumers a standard looking single speed bicycle in carbon fiber that weights 26-28 pounds with a gates belt drive, torque drive, downtube stealth 10ah battery and controller storage. 5 different power levels, and space for a forward gps mount on flat or drop bars for a $70 brighton gps unit that will keep track of speed, moving time, average speed, temperatures and mileage, so users can upload to the bicycle tracking websites of their choice. Sell this normal appearing bicycle for $1,500 with a split frame necessary for the gates belt drive installation...
thats alot of bullshit tech for 2k too much price.
Do not be an idiot to buy URTOPIA
Why ?
Cool bike but if you're under 5'7'', you're out of luck. Suck to be short.

I have one. It’s flimsy ant doesn’t feel safe. I’ll give it a year before it snaps.
So basically pay 2800 for a no throttle no rear suspension bike which constantly tracks your location, surroundings and fingerprint

How many foot RPM on the pedal in order to achieve 24mph?
Do you mean what cadence do you need to maintain to cruise @ 24 mile per hour?
All that tech, still get a flat tyre though.
