Hey. I just started working in a dairy factory we actually package cows milk, goat milk, and we make almond "milk". So my job leaves free milk for us to take home and people usually leave the goat milk behind but I'm adventurous and I know how close minded people can be to things that are very good. After hearing how horrible goat milk was I prepared myself for the "bad taste". Literally a few moments ago I tried it. As my gut feeling had predicted. I loved it. I never follow the crowd and let people control my outlook on what's good to consume. I only slightly hesitated on trying the goats milk. I really like it, the taste is even far more wholesome than cow's milk you can actually taste that its better for you. Thanks great video
I discovered goat milk about 10 years ago on the first of several trips to Kenya. It beats hell out of cow milk. I wish I could find raw goat milk in the US.

I live in Australia where raw cows milk is illegal for sale. I go to local farmers markets every weekend, while grabbing my pastured eggs and local beef, the goat stand is now selling raw goats milk, got my first litre today, and it tastes so creamy and nice. Yes, you pay that extra for quality, but at my age, it is worth it. I have a lot of hard style living to undo lol. You sound, and come across as so sweet and genuine, something I miss dearly coming from an older generation. 🐐🥛👍😁

I finally found someone in my area that sold raw goat milk I love it l prefer the taste of goat milk over cows milk. Not only that bit its local and fresh and I know where this milk comes from you really have no idea where the milk in stores comes from

I drink for many years the A2 jersey and goat milk. When you are lactose intollerance you can drink this type A2/A2 milk. But be sure when you take cow milk that it isnt A2/A1 but pure A2/A2. The holstein has A1/A1 one milk and cows like jersey and brown swiss have A2/A2. I love the fatty jersey milk and it taste great and I also love goat milk

indigowildflower I haven’t studied this much and I have never bought evaporated milk, but I would say that the raw benefits of milk wouldn’t be there but the ability for your body to digest it better than other milk would probably still be the same. If your body can handle small bits of experimenting, I would think it would be worth it to try. 😊 And let me know what happens if you try it! I’m not an expert in any way, shape or form; but most videos, articles, commentary etc I’ve read concur that most dairies, farms and ranches treat their animals quite well. The ones that treat their animals inhumanely are rare in comparison, but they are the ones that get the most media of course (awareness is good, don’t get me wrong). Large companies do exist, but most milk etc (at least in the cities) is gotten from contracted small farms owned by individual families. It is in the farm owners’ best interest to treat their animals well. Animals, especially goats/cows/sheep, cost a pretty penny each so keeping them healthy (and thus alive and not needing to be replaced) is important. Also, as we should all know by now, animals do have emotions and that effects their health, so again it is in the farm owners’ best interests to keep their animals happy(or at least content), as happy animals produce more/better. Farm owners’ know this better than anyone as they are in constant contact with their animals and know them best. Also, most farm owners’ have affection for their animals, so they will treat them as well as they can. See if you can do research on the companies selling in your area and their product source, many companies are quite willing to be transparent. It is almost required nowadays for a company to be getting their product from a humane source if they do not want to go out of business, so there should definitely be an option for happy goat milk near you.
Dont fall for the hype. I would say most milk and meat are unhealthy, yes. BUT you can have certain types of clean meats. Only if they are 100% organic grassfed. Especially lamb. And goat milk. Much more pros then cons in my opinion
If you are choosing veganism because you’d rather destroy your animal body by only eating plants, just because of potential farm animal malpractice by a small percentage of companies, then you’re making a choice of saving the farm animal instead of you. Just off yourself now and spare yourself the lifelong agony of slow vegan suicide.

One of those factors are if you are getting raw milk from the same source, you may be exposed to same bugs and develop a natural immunity to them. Fine for you but maybe not for the kid down the block who was never exposed to them. Second the lower temperature pasteurization process, which is done more for increased shelf life than disease protection. We have used the moderate range pasteurization, which gives us no problem in cheese making, nor destroy the flavor of the product. There is an even lower pasteurization temp, effective against bugs, and further enhances the retained microbes. This is a very good video, but don't use one source to decide on safety. There is considerable debate, and really good debate. I have never worried about my raw product, but we pasteurize because we are afraid to lose our grandparent's license. 🤣
Well...we do! I have full confidence in the health of our goats and keep things very clean. So I can't say for you and the goats that you get your milk from if it's safe. But for us, it definitely is 😊
I have a question , I drink unpasteurized goat milk this morning in a smoothie with beetroot and banana and I got diarrhea right after. Can this be harmful to a fetus in a pregnant woman ?
I wouldn't buy a goat till I had some training by a goat farm, know the legalities and rules in my area. Till I had that experience, I'll stick to my local producer, they are number 1 in the state for goat farms. They arent grass fed, so I don't know what feed they use, but figure if they are number 1 they have to be good
That's hard to say. If they pasteurize it, it does change the benefits some but it still may be easier to digest for those that have milk sensitivities.
Lassens has it. Lassens on Vermont has it raw, it's a health food store that has everything organic and health food including raw goat milk, there's also one on La Brea and Wilshire. Just put Lassens in your mapquest. Good luck!
tanveer ahmed I haven’t measured each of my individual goats but I’m milking three goats right now and only milking in the morning and I’m getting a gallon a day. As they get closer to kidding I’ll get less milk and then I’ll dry them up.

Shabna Ameen My family drinks it without boiling it. When I milk I keep everything very clean and the goats are cleaned well and they are healthy. A healthy, clean goat will produce healthy, clean milk in my opinion 😊

Ditch the vegan diet and eat real bioavailable foods and watch most of your health drastically improve

I have a question , I drink unpasteurized goat milk this morning in a smoothie with beetroot and banana and I got diarrhea right after. Can this be harmful to a fetus in a pregnant woman ?

I wouldn't buy a goat till I had some training by a goat farm, know the legalities and rules in my area. Till I had that experience, I'll stick to my local producer, they are number 1 in the state for goat farms. They arent grass fed, so I don't know what feed they use, but figure if they are number 1 they have to be good

That's hard to say. If they pasteurize it, it does change the benefits some but it still may be easier to digest for those that have milk sensitivities.

Lassens has it. Lassens on Vermont has it raw, it's a health food store that has everything organic and health food including raw goat milk, there's also one on La Brea and Wilshire. Just put Lassens in your mapquest. Good luck!

I haven’t measured each of my individual goats but I’m milking three goats right now and only milking in the morning and I’m getting a gallon a day. As they get closer to kidding I’ll get less milk and then I’ll dry them up.

That definitely isn’t my experience! I think goat our goat milk is 100% good tasting.
I wonder if the milk you bought wasn’t handled like I do mine or maybe wasn’t as fresh or maybe it tasted like something the goats were eating?

But I want to read the book “The miracle of milk”. Some people go on a milk diet and that’s all they drink for a period of time. But do your research on it! 😊

When I milk I keep everything very clean and the goats are cleaned well and they are healthy. A healthy, clean goat will produce healthy, clean milk in my opinion 😊
