Take a walk with me through the historic Spivey Building in East St Louis Illinois it's the tallest building in southern Illinois built in 1927 it was owned by Allen Spivey and was designed to be an affordable office building for businesses during the roaring 20s of East St Louis it was and still is considered a skyscraper it's a 12 story giant I considered this a partial fail cause I only made it to the 9th floor only to find that the stairwell had been barricaded which is an indication of homeless living in the building I know this from experience it's not the first time I've ran into this....hope you enjoy the video and thank you for watching #Spiveybuilding #AbandonedEastStlouis
