For Galar, in terms of a secondary legendary trio, you could make it that they are members of the round table or historical artifacts in Arthurian legends since the region itself is based of England. Since we already have the holy sword Excalibur (Zacian) and the shield Prydwen (Zamazenta) and the addition of the Mage's Hat (Zagozen), we can have the trio be based off other artifacts such as Arthur's mantle (Royal Cape), The Holy Grail (Mystic Chalice), and the Ring of Dispel. Of course these artifacts will need a animal counterpart in addition to their items like how Zacian and Zamazenta are also based on the Wolf Duo from Norse myths, Skoll and Hati.
I didn't mind the lack of a second legendary trio in SwSh because they gave us Two New Regis, two Urshifus, two horses, and calyrex. Kalos had the Box Art legends and three Mythicals. Like that's weird.

I 100% disagree with your point of the Hisuian Starters. While they have their original trios with their own balances, the Hisuian Starters are balanced into their own trios TOGETHER. Hisuian Samurott is not part of the Unova trio, it's part of the ancient Hisuian trio. The potential for Serperior, Emboar, Feraligatr, Meganium, Incineroar and Primarina having new forms is still there with future Legends games, but they'll once again be forming a whole new Starter Trio that is meant to work amongst themselves and not to balance out their original trio.
The swords of justice should have been released in generation 6, their backstory of saving pokemon during an ancient war fits kalos way better than it does unova
Yes and an entire evolutionary family starting with the baby the base Kangaskhan is carrying as the baby evolution and evolves into the child that resemble the one from Mega Kangaskhan at only Level 5. After this, they hit their middle stage where the males and females start to get different colours and evolve at Level 20, and finally they evolve into Kangaskhan at Level 30. Call me crazy, but a 4-stage evolutionary line for Kangaskhan, plus the different gender forms. Male Kangaskhan can literally either stay lilac or becomes a bright purple to contrast the females.
Imagine a Legends game that’s story encompasses the story of how Kanto and Johto united to create the Indigo League and the inclusion of johto fossils that actually end up being discovered and revealed to be the Legendary beasts prior to Ho-oh’s resurrection of them
Sun and Moon not having their own fossil pokemon was something I honestly didn't realize till I was trying to complete the Pokedex. As for what I'd like to see them fill gaps for definitely still holding out for the original B&W dragon, but would also like to see megas/regional variants for more stater Pokemon.
I’m curious to see now Paradox Phanpy and Wigglytuff. I’m also down for an adventure where a researcher tries to figure out where the Galar legendary trio is much to the confusion of the Galar locals. 😂
Literally the first catchable Pokemon I can across in the alola games was a shiny male salandit. I was a little disappointed after learning it couldn't evolve but I still loved that shiny and used it on my team for the whole playthrough

There is actually a theory that the Swords of Justice is Kalos' second Legendary trio as they are based on the Three Musketeers, which are from France.
If a new region isn’t going to have new fossil Pokemon, we should be able to gain access to every previous fossil. I need my boi Tyrantrum to run around Paldea with me.
I would like to see not just sandstorm Castform but also a windy form since Mega Rayquaza introduced a new Wind weather in the form of Delta Stream. They just need to make a weaker more balanced version of that. They could also do a Thunderstorm or a Mist/Fog form, but those weather conditions don't exist with the closest thing we have being Electric and Misty Terrain. Dawn Form Lycanroc should be bipedal since we have two quadrupedal forms already, I always imagined it having golden fur with either blue or green eyes. Still no Galarian Lugia, and Galar should have had a red and white dragon duo because of the legends from Britain.
5:44 I think Jynx would've been perfect for a regional variant in Galar, potentially a grass/water type based on a Banshee or Jenny Green-Teeth. I can still dream (and doodle)...

So overall, I would say that a lost Pokemon have been the pre-fossil forms of the fossil Pokemon. IE the Kabutops line is geared to be a Water/Bug type, Aerodactyl & Archeops could be argued to have been former Dragon/Fly, Armaldo being a Bug/Dragon, or a Steel only Rampardos. Essentially, any fossil that is a current rock type is rock type because of the fossil aspect so what was it previously
I'm hoping for at least one new legendary Pokémon group for Kalos, new regional variants of Serperior and Emboar, new evolutions for Flapple and Appletun, and definitely the original dragon of the legendary Tao trio. I lately started setting up my own fan-made Pokémon projects and tried brainstorming interesting ideas for all of them, but I have not really delved into any lore or what kinds of new Pokémon you would find in my new fan-made Pokémon regions, including new legendary and mythical Pokémon. One idea I came up with is the theme of biomes where there are many legendary Pokémon that represent each major biome across the entire region, as well as an evil legendary. And of course, the version-exclusive mascot legendary Pokémon are highly important. My second idea will be an entire region themed around mythology and anthropology. All in all, I'm trying to cover everything we would all need or want in a new Pokémon game, even if it's a fan idea. However, since I'm not a Fakemon artist, I can't really create my own Pokémon since it's not my style, but I can still at least come up with ideas of what they can be or look like.
There are actually tons of missing Pokémon in kalos more than the other regions, even though that doesn’t change the fact that the other regions have lots of missing Pokémon of their own too Kalos introduced the least amount of brand new Pokémon, I believe because in a story from a Reddit user, almost every original kalos Pokémon (I believe it includes the secondary trio of Pokémon as well) have all died when yveltal passed on and absorbed the life force of the entire region and xerneas was able to revive a handful of those Pokémon but since the food in the region was really scarce, only the 72 species of Pokémon that we know of today survived while the rest perished. I believe the Pokemon that all perished from yveltal’s last resort must be several hundreds of them and hope I get to see the those several hundreds of Pokemon in legends z-a since the people there might have the technology to revive them all since for what I saw in the trailer, Pokemon legends z-a might be set in the future There’s also that list of Pokemon that were rumored in a leak from gen 6 which was called “the gem 6.5 Pokemon” symbolizing the second half of gen 6, I was expecting those Pokémon to come to kalos, including the Pokémon magearma. But the gen 6.5 Pokémon list was considered fake which is ridiculous because the only Pokémon confirmed real from gen 6.5 was magearna but it was introduced in Pokémon sun and moon which is gen 7. If magearna could be introduced from the gen 6.5 list, why not the other Pokemon? They should have introduced the Pokémon from that list not as gen 6.5 Pokémon but as gen 6 Pokémon instead and then kalos would still had introduced a large number of Pokémon Both of those situations included tons of Pokemon that should have been introduced to Pokémon x and y just like dawn licanroc should have been introduced in gen 7 as well as more Hawaiian themed new Pokemon in Pokémon ultra sun and ultra moon
I might be in the minority, but I have no problem with gender only evolutions like with combee and salazzle. That doesn't mean it isn't fun to speculate like many other fakemon, but at the end of the day I don't think it's a bad decision on gamefreak's part. It adds uniqueness to the roster. I do feel they should be more fair with there being some only male evolution pokemon though since I think it only ends up being female ones(but there are SO many pokemon I really can't remember). And no, the nidoran lines don't count. So yeah, perfectly fine with those never receiving male evolutions. I will say though the Swords of Justice, being musketeer based, feel more like a Kalos legendary ground than Unova so if you really want you can look at it as we just got the Kalos group a gen early.
If Jynx gets a third evolution her design should be more lady like like Gardevoir, Lobunny, Florges, and Gothitelle. I'd love to see the Smash or Pass community not sure how to feel with it's pre-evo being Jynx.
I do agree with almost all your points besides only 2: Although it would be awesome to have a Johto fossil, it's understandable why gamefreak didn't created them: Unknown filled the ancient pokemon gap at that generation. The second point I do disagree is the Castform one. If they made a sandstorm Castform, GF or The Pokemon Company would be obligated to create a polution Castform, an acid rain variant, a nuclear one, and many more variants that would only be possible in very, really really very specifics geographical locations.
This video reminded about something that I might have mentioned in the comments of a few prior videos, which I was on a kick about a few months ago; Missed Opportunity Pokemon, that is to say, Pokemon that never happened and thus were a missed opportunity for the regions for whatever reason. For example, a Pokemon based on the Ramidreju in Paldea. Ironically, I became aware of the Ramidreju after Scarlet and Violet had come out, and during research for an unrelated project, but I'm a bit disappointed i didn't find out about it through Pokemon and had to do so via classic internet research. I think I described the Ramidreju in the comments of a few prior videos, but feel free to a ask me the details on it anyway and I'll do my best to summarize everything; and feel free to ask about other creatures from world mythology, lore, legend, and the like I am aware of and where I think they could fit regarding the established Pokemon regions.
The only ones I agree with are the Mega Evolutions for Blastoise and Venusaur, the others though I don't think are necessary. Also the Legends starters didn't overshadow their original counterparts, especially Decidueye. And regarding Jynx, you also have to keep in mind that she is also a dual-type Pokemon unlike Electabuzz and Magmar, so she never really was a part of a trio with them, I think that she getting Smoochum in Gen 2 was more of a coincidence than anything else. And Paradox Pokemon are from alternative timelines, this has been confirmed in the game after you meat the real professor in the DLC
@@Boltofbrilliance122 I know, but the fact that this trio was never an official trio along with Jynx being a dual-type shows that this isn't mandatory to give her the same treatment as the other two 1 for 1
Dawn form Lycanrock doesn't exist likely because there wouldn't be a big enough difference between the concepts of dawn and dusk to make it its own form. I'd argue that the Paradox Pokemon are in fact themselves ancient extinct evolutions. Similar to Wyrdeer, the evolutions may have become extinct based on the lack of whatever process was used to evolve them. That would mean that Scream Tail's pre-evolution is Jigglypuff, and Great Tusk's pre-evolution is Donphan, and Iron Valiant's pre-evolution is Kirlia.
I often find it funny how people mistake scream tail and flutter mane as paradox forms of jigglypuff and misdreavous. The reason being is that is not actually what they are. Scream tail is a paradox form of wigglytuff as the only reason wigglytuff looks so big is due to its time around humans. If not for that it would not change much from jigglypuff as its body would very much perfect for an ancient setting in terms of survival. The same could be said when it comes to flutter mane which is a paradox form of misdreavous which took the modern form due to its human connection which can be seen with its body looking like a halloween witch.
All I want is for Turbann the scrapped Shellder evolution to finally become an official Pokémon. Other than that maybe Gorochu and the scrapped split evolution for weepinbell
Honestly about the gen 5 starters it is interesting that the Zodiac Animals of this year and next year are the dragon and the snake with Z-A coming out next month.... Potential Serperior as one of the options?
Let's be real you're kidding yourself thinking that they'll give Venusaur and Blastoise any attention we're getting a third Mega Evolution for Charizard and the other two get Jack Squad
First, I think an awesome idea for the Paldea region and it's apparent lack of fossil Pokemon would have been for them to have two fossil pokemon that coincide with the future and past exclusive to their respective games. The past would have a Dinosaur style design. In my head, the fossil brought to life would have a classic raptor design being a menacing reptile. The past version would have the same reptile, but instead of it being a reptile it would be a bird. The future one would be tougher, but I think the best way to do it would be a technology based dinosaur that turns out actually came from the future. The fossil version being psychic or dark with a "magical" design while the future being mechanical. The idea being the past mistook technology as magic. Second, I think the obvious missing Pokemon from gen 1 is definitely baby Kangaskhan. That is pretty cliche though. And last, I would love to see a Dawn form Lycanroc. In my head it would be either still be on 2 feet or maybe have a third foot on the ground as if it has the ability to stand as well as be on all fours. I also picture it as being yellow or golden.
Idk, I personally don't feel like a sandstorm is any less natural than rain. Rain comes from the sky but it certainly didn't start there. Sandstorms from the Sahara dessert are the leading fertilizer for the Amazon rain forest. It seems just as valid
My theory when it comes to paradox Pokémon has to do with Wormholes. Remember how in Alola when you go to Buzzwole world and it’s in the prehistoric days? That could be where Koridon and the others come from. With the future Pokémon they could be from The Ultra Megaopolis region where everything is future and alien like as well. I’d be cool but I know it’s a hard reach.
9:30 so gen 1 and 2 are a little different because the bird trio and the beast trio are actually the only trios in those games gen 1 only had mewtwo and gen 2 had Lugia and ho-oh technically celebi but being a mythical it couldn't count as a trio member even if it did make sense as one
2:20 I am a firm believer that Kanto screwed over Johto by being included meaning Johto got less production time put into it. Showing how imbalance the game is, how weak the pokemon are, and how much it relies on Kanto to be relevant. 8:45 considering they didn't have time to make Zygarde relevant, I think I'm fine with not having ANOTHER legendary trio.
I think they won't do dawn form lycanroc because it would be set too early for kids to actually get. Either that or most kids will be in school when they're able to actually get one

If they decide to give another mega to Blastoise and Venusaur hopefully they'll also give us z forms for all three of them. That way the Charizard fans don't feel left out
They gave Charizard two Megas specifically BECAUSE of favoritism. After all, it is the first box mascot of the franchise if you count the the order thar the titles are said in, ie "RED and Blue". And it corresponds to the first protagonist. So the favoritism isn't random. If anything, it's more understandable than Pikachu, who actually did start as a random Pokemon.

Of course these artifacts will need a animal counterpart in addition to their items like how Zacian and Zamazenta are also based on the Wolf Duo from Norse myths, Skoll and Hati.
Isn't Calyrex, Spectrier and Glastrier a trio for Sword and Shield?
Not really, they are more of a unique group
I didn't mind the lack of a second legendary trio in SwSh because they gave us Two New Regis, two Urshifus, two horses, and calyrex.
Kalos had the Box Art legends and three Mythicals. Like that's weird.
@@onetallpheeesh Also Zygarde, another Legendary, so it's 3 Legendaries and 3 Mythicals. And yes that was very unique to say the least, especially since Gen 6 is the smallest Gen overall.
@@RoyArkon nah I counted Zygarde as boxart just like Kyurem and Rayquaza smh 😭😭😭
@@onetallpheeesh Zygarde might be a box art Legendary in Legends ZA

9:34 Unova’s Legendaries are meant to parallel the starters
Snivy - Swords of Justice- France
Tepig - Yin Yang - China
Oshawott- Forces of Nature- Japan
I always saw jinx as a counterpart to Mr. Mime not as part of a trio with magmar and electabuzz
So, what im hearing is that Jynx should get a regional form and evolution
I always thought mr Mime and sudowoodo were equalvalent
Galar could've had a legendary trio based on Scotland, Wales and England... like they really dropped the ball there
I 100% disagree with your point of the Hisuian Starters.
Kalos should have had megas for its own starters
What do you MEAN the regional gimmick isnt on the regional starters?!
That'll definitely be saved for the legends game
Another missing Joto Pokémon : the original forms of the legendary beasts
We should of had that before Galarian birds
The swords of justice should have been released in generation 6, their backstory of saving pokemon during an ancient war fits kalos way better than it does unova
Why not a male Kangaskan for Gen 1 rather than a mega evolution which was not introduced on Gen 1?
I don't like Kangaskhan as I think has too much incongruence with the baby, appearently is even born with it, and there isn't a canon explanation.
I’m fine with no Sand forme Castform. The weather institute was researching meteorological phenomena, and sandstorms are not part of the water cycle.
Justice for jynx
Before the games hit the 'States, I remember hearing a rumor that Slugma/Magcargo and Swinub/Piloswine were going to be Gen. II's fossil-mon.
I’m curious to see now Paradox Phanpy and Wigglytuff.
I’m also down for an adventure where a researcher tries to figure out where the Galar legendary trio is much to the confusion of the Galar locals. 😂
I'd LOVE to see other starter Pokemon from Ultra Megalopolis.
Gen 9 is also missing the fusion form of the paradoxs legendary trios show in the Scarlet and Violet books
Literally the first catchable Pokemon I can across in the alola games was a shiny male salandit. I was a little disappointed after learning it couldn't evolve but I still loved that shiny and used it on my team for the whole playthrough
I actually think it does make sense that some of the past Paradoxes aren't fully evolved and don't evolve because they all had external evolution methods that they may be from a time before they gained the ability to
Idk what’s with the new thumbnail style but I think it’s cool 😂
Ultra Legends, a legends game about the ultra worm holes where you play from the other universe so you get to pick between poipole and the other 2 options while exploring other worlds.
Swords of justice shoulda been kalos trio. Three musketeers fits wayy better
Gothitelle is the scrapped jinx evo. its why the body looks like a christmas tree and the head is a star on top.
Animals that I wanna see fossil Pokémon based on: Wooly Mammoth, Sabertooth Tiger, Triceratops, Plesiosaur, Pterodactyl
Isn’t Aerodactyl technically Pterodactyl and part of the gen 1 fossil group?
Mamoswine is already a wooly mammoth, aerodactyl is a pterodactyl, raikou is a sabertooth tiger, and im pretty sure lapras is a plesiosaur
@@bewarebewear1507 yea but it would be cool to see more based on those
@@lolahahaa1376 woolly mammoth and saber tooth tiger fossils would be awesome!
And bastiodon is basically your triceratops
For alola, what about that ultra beast the ash and solgaleo helped out in one of the last 3 episodes of the alola saga
Pokemon not making a spin off game about Ultra Beast is a missed opportunity
Sounds metroidy… definitely not in PMC’s safe zone.
@@bobjob2514 it could be away to appease their fans who grew up with the series and are tired of having their intelligence insulted by the main series games. Just a missed opportunity.
@@pellet1167 For the record, I’m not disagreeing with you.
GameFreak should let Monolith Soft make it. Would be killer.
There could be much more in their world
So overall, I would say that a lost Pokemon have been the pre-fossil forms of the fossil Pokemon.
Jynx controversy is so dumb considering Mr.popo from dragon ball z lmao
Americans like to cry about everything
There are actually tons of missing Pokémon in kalos more than the other regions, even though that doesn’t change the fact that the other regions have lots of missing Pokémon of their own too
Kalos introduced the least amount of brand new Pokémon, I believe because in a story from a Reddit user, almost every original kalos Pokémon (I believe it includes the secondary trio of Pokémon as well) have all died when yveltal passed on and absorbed the life force of the entire region and xerneas was able to revive a handful of those Pokémon but since the food in the region was really scarce, only the 72 species of Pokémon that we know of today survived while the rest perished. I believe the Pokemon that all perished from yveltal’s last resort must be several hundreds of them and hope I get to see the those several hundreds of Pokemon in legends z-a since the people there might have the technology to revive them all since for what I saw in the trailer, Pokemon legends z-a might be set in the future
There’s also that list of Pokemon that were rumored in a leak from gen 6 which was called “the gem 6.5 Pokemon” symbolizing the second half of gen 6, I was expecting those Pokémon to come to kalos, including the Pokémon magearma. They should have introduced the Pokémon from that list not as gen 6.5 Pokémon but as gen 6 Pokémon instead and then kalos would still had introduced a large number of Pokémon
Both of those situations included tons of Pokemon that should have been introduced to Pokémon x and y just like dawn licanroc should have been introduced in gen 7 as well as more Hawaiian themed new Pokemon in Pokémon ultra sun and ultra moon
I exclusively use male Gardevoir and Lopunny.
I think I described the Ramidreju in the comments of a few prior videos, but feel free to a ask me the details on it anyway and I'll do my best to summarize everything; and feel free to ask about other creatures from world mythology, lore, legend, and the like I am aware of and where I think they could fit regarding the established Pokemon regions.
a male Jynx form that connected it to the beta Jynx being based on an oni similar to an abominal snowman would also be intriguing to see.
There are other trios who don't share the same number of types
@@Boltofbrilliance122 I know, but the fact that this trio was never an official trio along with Jynx being a dual-type shows that this isn't mandatory to give her the same treatment as the other two 1 for 1
5:51 I always thought of jynx as Mr. Mimes counterpart
Froopy art created paradox version of the lines you mentioned plus gave brut bonnet a evolution
For Paldea, I'm a little surprised we never got a trio master for the box art legends
I would pick two, one being the completed dragon of Unova, and the other would be the X or Y Mega evolutions for Blastoise and Venosaur.
That isn't true. It'll get new Z AND A Mega Evolutions.
I think you mean jack squat, but I am now saying jack squad and no one can stop me! lol
In my opinion, Charizard should've never had two Mega Evolutions to begin with.
Is one of them objectively better than the other? What about mewtwo? I ask because I didn’t play those games
@@CesarR1037Y is better than X for Charizard. Same with Mewtwo.
Two different Megas is a nice concept for competitive battles, but only if more than one Pokémon gets it.
I would have thought the sandstorm casform would be an issue since it would be ground/rock and that would be hard with its levitating ability.
we had primal dialga (although spin-off), what's stopping them from adding primal palkia
Sinnoh could also do with a few more fire type Pokémon.
I would not be surprised to see a new lycanroc make it's debut in ZA...
I still say every non-legendary SHOULD have three-stage evolution.
I hope Legends Z-A introduces Kalosian swords of justice it would be hella cool
2:20 I am a firm believer that Kanto screwed over Johto by being included meaning Johto got less production time put into it. Showing how imbalance the game is, how weak the pokemon are, and how much it relies on Kanto to be relevant.
8:45 considering they didn't have time to make Zygarde relevant, I think I'm fine with not having ANOTHER legendary trio.
There's still that mysterious gorilla Pokemon in the Scarlet/Violet books
Kinda shocked we didn’t get either Slowbro’s tail or baby Kangaskhan here. Or earlier Leafeon.
I think they won't do dawn form lycanroc because it would be set too early for kids to actually get. Either that or most kids will be in school when they're able to actually get one
Dragon type Eeveelution.
Eevee's evolutions are all Special types.
From back when types where either Physical or Special, and moves didn't have that difference.
We have all Special types covered by the Eeveelution's, except Dragon.
i hope someday to see a regional variant of Jynx and have it have an evolution like galarian zigzagoon
Hail yeah!!! Justice for Castform!
@@popper03244 I see what you did there 👀❄️

Talks about Hawaii being "too young" to have fossils meanwhile Hawaii has fossil sites on every island with a rich diversity of ancient sea life and early terrestrial life as the islands formed.
So I think we should have a legendary trio of a bird a beast n a dragon in the same trio mix it up a lil
I would make the two horses and rider guy from Galar real because according to you, they don't exist. 😭
Water Steel Blastoise and Poison Ice venosaur would be cool
