This song could always bringing the courage to people who need it,when the first time I listened this song,I got attracted by this voice,and I think,how could I never heard a voice like this that quite different with a very good quality vocal sound? at the same time,I found the lyrics let the voice became very emotional that touched my heart so deeply... and I think if other people has the same feeling about this,or even they are in the sadness or in a hard time of their life,maybe their emotions will get released at this moment. And it could be a spiritual power to make people become more possitive,although its a sad song.
Yeah. I first heard this song while having depression myself in 2017. I had just dealt with my friends moving away, and The therapist told me that I had situational depression. Nobody recommended me to listen to that song. When I first heard it, I stopped, and thought about what to do with my life. While listening to it for the first time, I cried on the part where it says, “Your eyes, they shine so bright, I wanna save their light.” After the song was over, I continued crying until a few minutes after it finished. I knew the song was telling me that life has more parts to it, it doesn’t end with depression. I knew it had the courage to let me know that it turns out better in the future. Now, I listen to Demons every time I’m stressed or depressed. Since my depression in 2017, Demons became my favorite song. I knew since then, that Depression is no weakness, but strength. Demons helped stop my depression, thoughts of suicide, cyber bullying, and love life exaggeration. I felt it fade away as I was hearing that song. God loves you. Jesus has a plan for your life, trust him that it will all turn out better. It’s what I learned while I was having depression. And remember the lyrics of the song and let it speak to you, as if someone is telling you a story of their struggle with depression and how they overcame it. And if you feel like you have demons, remember that Jesus died for you and He poured out His blood for our sins, and most of all, He can cast out the demons that come. One year later, I used to listen to this hundreds of time whenever I felt down and when depression get worse. I'm not 100% heal from that but I'm much better now. No matter what you're going through, please never give up ❤
