Hi, I'm a complete beginner to an oil painting, and I found that after few hours of work I just can't apply any more paint, especially a small amount of brighter color for a small accent, the brush is just slips on a surface and I don't see any paint left. What do you think may cause it and how it may be solved? Thank you in advance, and thanks for your videos :) !
probably the surface has started to dry already and the application of new paint can be different. If this is a case - wait for the surface to dry completely and do oiling out next time you want to continue on working. Oiling out: covering part or whole canvas with thin layer of paint to re-wet the surface. Hope it helps
reminds me of old paintings, i love it! good job.
Squinting is one of the most useful and overlooked "trick", yet mentioned in almost every painting book.
Fabulous! Another great one!!!!!
I will never believe that this an alla prima ...because it s beyond my expextations ... ohhhh i love you 😲😲😲😲😲
