Why are people so quick to dismiss the prophecies? Or the supernatural in general? The matches question is hardly enough to debunk it. Is it not possible that God has a plan for such a conundrum? It’s not that complicated…you light the blessed candle with a match; God gives the grace for the match to work (is your argument that a match can stop God’s plan?) and you don’t even notice because crazy stuff is happening outside. This is not that complicated. Fr. I’ve wondered about how to light the beeswax candles. Maybe you will see the darkness rolling in and you light all the candles. Be sure it’s not just regular dusk or you will run out of candles.
First things first: it's not the light that lights the candle, it's the heat being produced. Second, you'll have some time to prepare - not a long time, but you will have time.

Oh my! This terrified me from about 1982-1985 I was a kid and the scariest thing in the world was walking by an open window at night. I KNEW there was a demon or a terrorized neighbor about to start banging on the window at me. Thanks for the laugh!
I just want you to know before this video there was an ad where an EMT was walking up to a house saying “yeah we go to this lady’s house all the time, her blood sugar is always all over the place and she’s always on new meds”
A Vision I had... The Darkness And The Mist: In my vision I was with an unknown family…it seemed to be a mix of people that were or were not related. There were 8 of us and we were all in different parts of this house…some were sleep and others were awake. In the back of me was the back area of the house (the backyard) I was inside of the house looking at the backyard (there were double doors like your doors that lead to the backyard) as I looked outside, I could see that it was nighttime. Very dark it was… I could see that there was a painting in the backyard. In the painting were 3 faces aligned horizontally one after the other. But the faces were all covered by some sort of colorful mask. I could only see the multi colored masks that covered the faces of the three. But these masks had no eye hole nor any nose or mouth hole. It was just a full single covering. Each face has a different multi mask that covered it. All of a sudden, I was outside! In the backyard with a few other people from the house…. a woman came outside with a sense of urgency and fear and told us to get inside for she had seen a boy inside of a painting and that there were people (or entities) out in the darkness that was trying to come get us. We ran inside. As I ran inside, I then saw the FRONT of the outside of the house. Outside in the front of the house was a thick and heavy Mist…this Mist was so prevalent that it made the sky look like it was daytime! The vision of the fog then changed. I looked back into the backyard and saw a little white boy with pitch black eyes moving backwards yet forwards in the picture that once held the 3 masked faces (the portrait had changed to a living image of the boy) the boy looked at me and looked as if he was stepping backwards in the painting…yet as he did so his body moved TOWARDS me) I moved back in nervousness. The boys’ eyes were pitch black and he was moving towards me but never exited the painting. The husband proceeded to head outside into the darkness of the backyard…when he did, he froze right at the back door (the doors were double sliding doors like yours) I was standing directly behind him when all of a sudden when he turned back around to face me, in the place of a man stood a boy! The man had succumbed to some sort of body shifting. The boy turned around and faced me. He had a look of sheer TERROR on his face. And I returned that look of terror with the same terrified look. Something out in the darkness changed the man. And whatever it was, Was terrible
Best part is Trent calling out the inconsistency of trying to light the blessed candle 😄 I was steeped in the end times and three days of darkness from the time I was little. I dont think my dear sainted grandma had any idea how it hung over my childhood like a cloud. It wasnt until I was in college that I got some peace when I realized that worry is not from God, and the Israelites missed the coming of the Messiah because they put too much stock into their own visualization of what the fulfillment of the prophecies would look like. The three days of darkness was such a vague message that it certainly looks like people have just taken their own interpretations and run with them in the same way. The long winded moral of my story is keep blessed candles in your house because they are a holy sacramental and that dies everyone some good :)

@@juliee8897 it’s a fantastic episode.
@@juliee8897 please post a link if you find it!
@@Wildwest89I don't think he has one specifically about the three days of darkness yet, but the Fr. Michele Rodrigue (sp?) episode gets into it some.
“I SAID GO TO BEEEEEEEDDDDDD!!” 😂
Thank God for Hallow
This is laugh-out-loud hilarious! 😂🤣🤣 Thanks Laura! I'll share it with some family, that's into that kind of prophecy planning.
I have never heard of this three days of darkness business. The video is hilarious though.
We’re getting my mother-in-law a prepper book and beeswax candles for Mother’s Day.
1:25 Grandpa's clearly been riding this rollercoaster for a while now.
This is exactly how I imagined the three days of darkness.
Paging Fr. Alar and his televangelist blessed candles “call this 800 number” routine.
This is for Trent. I had my matches blessed at candlemas with my expensive beeswax candles.
Getting prepped for our Catholic bird box moment. 😂
I got some beeswax candles at Whole Foods believe it or not just Little votive sized. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to be carrying them Right now . I guess I was lucky to get them in January. And I did have them blessed on Candlemas.
"Catholic bird box"
I'm scrEAMING
Trent sounds very logical with the "lighter can not emit light" but it is not the light which puts the candle on fire but the heat+oxigen :)
But how you gonna find that lighter and candle?
@@scroogemcduckismyspiritanimal by touch
I’ve wondered about how to light the beeswax candles. Maybe you will see the darkness rolling in and you light all the candles. Be sure it’s not just regular dusk or you will run out of candles.
Wait. How long does one candle last? I better do some test runs.
That was a SUPER GOOD Hallow ad. 👏👏😂
First things first: it's not the light that lights the candle, it's the heat being produced. Second, you'll have some time to prepare - not a long time, but you will have time.
**This comment is meant for the sponorship towards the end**
So I've heard a lot about the Hallow app and I never really seemed interested in it. After watching this funny video, and seeing you sponsor it, I figured why not?? I think it's time I download it and give it a go :) thanks Laura, and thanks for the laughs! ❤
Laura and Trent cracking me up for the win again! 😂
- The church event i attended here, Fr. Terry never mentioned "beeswax" candle, but he did say *blessed* candles.
Hobbylobby doesn't actually sell 100% beeswax candles. I work there and I may be guilty of checking specifically for this purpose 😂
This is hilarious!
Catholic Satire
Catholic Comedy Central
Good for Trent for going along with the skit.
You are great Laura Horn. You are so funny!❤😄
Your hysterical, I just discovered you last nite, and got to bed way late. It was really hard to get up for first Saturday Mass.
Once I left a comment on an ad for chrism scented beeswax candles: "are these guaranteed to work during the upcoming 3 days of darkness??!" Thinking my obvious sarcasm would come through... the comments under my comment were epic. Finally I had to be all "people, seriously -- if all the theories come true and these candles "don't work", I doubt anyone is coming after them for shoddy performance" 😂
I thought that the line on the wall was a hair on my phone 😂😂
Also I feel very called out by this video 😂 Well done!
OH MY GOODNESS!!! I laughed so hard I had tears🤣You are truly funny!
Hilarious! One of the best videos yet!
I love hallow. I’m sad for people who are for real afraid of this kind of thing. Too much tv. I feel like when I rejected the evil one and all his works at my baptism, that’s rejecting like probably 90-95% of tv and internet.
Tried hallow. Not my thing.
Prefer sing the hours, a prayer app, a real bible, and actual books.
Happy that it’s helpful for others!
this is absolutely awesome!
I have my candles and wondered about the matches, too. Funny video.
the kid trying not to laugh XD
The Israelites were instructed to sacrifice a lamb, smear its blood on their doors, and not on any account leave their homes.
Setting aside a couple beeswax candles doesn't seem like that big a lift.
so splendid!
Good point regarding the matches 😅
Time to finish buying everything on my "Prepping" Amazon wishlist...also, I have the same vacuum as Laura 😂
The kid trying not to laugh at his mom's crazy antics... 😁🤣😊
Oh my! This terrified me from about 1982-1985 I was a kid and the scariest thing in the world was walking by an open window at night. I KNEW there was a demon or a terrorized neighbor about to start banging on the window at me. Thanks for the laugh!
Love this so much!
I am sobbing 😭😂 this was too funny and i wont recover
Happiest dead child *I* ever saw!😂
🤣😂🤣 This is great. Laura keeps on dropping gems.
You always keep one candle lit. Hope you have a smoke alarm.
I just want you to know before this video there was an ad where an EMT was walking up to a house saying “yeah we go to this lady’s house all the time, her blood sugar is always all over the place and she’s always on new meds”
A Vision I had...
The Darkness And The Mist:
In my vision I was with an unknown family…it seemed to be a mix of people that were or were not related.
I looked back into the backyard and saw a little white boy with pitch black eyes moving backwards yet forwards in the picture that once held the 3 masked faces (the portrait had changed to a living image of the boy) the boy looked at me and looked as if he was stepping backwards in the painting…yet as he did so his body moved TOWARDS me)
I moved back in nervousness.
And whatever it was,
Was terrible
I hope I marry a woman as funny as Laura
I don't know about that; Laura's hilarious.
Your username might be preventing that
I would like a movie about this lol
I may have some blessed beeswax candles at my house 🙃 but they were from Amazon
Best part is Trent calling out the inconsistency of trying to light the blessed candle 😄
I was steeped in the end times and three days of darkness from the time I was little.
Hahaha. I always wondered how we'd like the candles too.
My parents believed in this when I was younger 😂 I love you
Your son laying on the ground😂😂😂😂
Absolute gold!
Hahaha!! Love it! 😂
This is super!
Superstitious.
