I think it must have been hard, not because of the girls ofc but Lady Gaga is an independent artist while Blackpink are carried by YG + culture differences. Lady Gaga is very open person so if she's not speaking directly about this collaboration then there must be a reason.

Actually for Sour Candy Gaga went to her dark-techno roots like in “The Fame Monster”😍 that’s why that songs is so amazingggg, Gaga left that dark pop behind and came back with it with blackpink and its A M A Z I N G. The girls should try more dark electro pop, in sour candy we can notice that it’s a genre that totally suits them

No it's the fact that blackpink is ctrld by YG and isn't allowed to have personal relationships with any artists and especially independent artists like lady gaga..so they probably didn't rly get to know each other and get to have conversations like how gaga had with Ariana for example... It's abt industry diffrences,the American pop industry is much more free the artists can own their lives and artistries whereas the Korean pop industry doesn't really support that.. That's why they start as trainees...its like factory business

I'm sorry but this is bullsh*t. There were many MANY strong female artists before Lady Gaga. Madonna, Stevie Nicks, Grace Slick, Janis Joplin, Debbie Harry, Gwen Stefani, Melissa Etheridge, Siouxsie Sioux, Shirley Manson, Tina Turner, Pat Benatar...It's a really long list. I like Lady Gaga and she has been ground breaking for other reasons but for her to say or imply that there weren't strong female singers for her to look up to is not only absurd but very disrespectful to all those who came before. If she is talking about these women babysitting her while she was trying to break into the industry well Miss Gaga no one gets that. Not even the boys.
