I think DLP is too conservative with that ride, Is awesome for first time childs, but.. maybe a small changes, some interactivity can transform the ride into a less painful moment for parents or yearly visitors.
Maybe the guns of Astroblasters will be too much (but a fun) addition to the ride..😅 but something like the flashlights from monster inc will be nice, with moving surprises or something to search with the mobile camera in an interactive app. And please, add remixes or something to the song, please.. a longer loop will be less maddening.
