Good for him, but, the two didn't obtain permission to have others recorded in the peripheral of their video. MANY of us don't want to be on camera. If I see this, I go to gym management immediately

Some gyms already prohibited recording. It's becoming too absurd to tolerate.
If you want a girls only gym invest in one yourself instead of complaining about it on TikTok or Instagram and waiting for somebody else to do it for you.

In Australia we have girl sections closed off for them guys don't bother to go in there
So here the thing: There will never be big nice gyms for women only. We had smaller gyms that were designed more for circuit training type of workouts in the early 2ooo.s (give or take 5 yrs) but they failed. Women are full of shit. Most women are the worst at keeping gym memberships. They like the idea of putting cute gym clothes on but aren.t consistent as men are so they won.t ever keep the bigger nicer gyms afloat. None of these "gym set up" broads know how to work the equipment.They have no idea how to work with free weights properly. They never have spotters. Lastly, no basic knowledge of gym etiquette. Those giant red flags show that they have shitty attendance, don.t take advantage of the free trainers, and aren.t there to do anything but seek attention and once they get bored, they.ll stop going.
The few women who do go to work out are too busy working out to worry about anyone looking in their general direction so they.re gonna go on any day.

literally went to the gym and after being there for a few minutes, a girl walks in and sits right beside me. i just keep doin my work out and then she goes into the girls room and comes out without her shirt on and only her leggings and sports bra and then sits right beside me and keeps working out. in my head i was like "there was no reason to do that, its 9:30pm and its like 68 degrees inside" idk tho, might be because im being logical and thats why it doesnt make sense but shit like that is why i dont go everyday and when i do go, its late at night

To me, it's so annoying when girls record their workout. I want to go to one of those gyms where you can have your phone, but it can't be set up and snapping pics or recording. Some people just want to work out, are insecure, want to be better, and don't want to be in people's TikToks. Make the gym a safe place.
So, I live in Germany, and here it's forbidden by the Law that you take Picture/Video of an Person that didn't gave you the permission and upload it in Social Media. If you see here your face on a Video/Pic on Social Media you can Sue the person that upload it

I've been wanting to go back to the gym and start working out again, but crap like this scares me. I got two little girls and the last thing I need is for them to see their daddy's face in some random video labeling me as a "gym creep" cause I happen to look in a direction where a woman wearing her workout outfit (next to nothing).
I've started trying to put money aside to save up for weights and equipment so I can just work out at home. That's only bad because more and more men might start doing that and the gyms are going to lose money.
A 200 pound set of dumbbells and a simple weight bench allow you to do full body workouts without a huge expense.
You can add more equipment gradually as you progress.

I used to go to a local gym that is female owned (or her and her husband). It has an entire wing with a women only gym that has exactly the same kinds of equipment as the main gym just not as much. When entering the gym it is possible to see into the women only gym but not completely. I always noticed that many of the female members used the main gym, I really didn't care but when the gym was busy and there was some equipment that was broken or not functioning it made working out efficiently a challenge. I also noticed that the women's only gym was ALWAYS EMPTY. The equipment in there was still brand new or barely used. In a few years and going at all times of the day I never saw anyone in the women's only gym, they all CHOSE to exersize on the main floor with all us creepy misogynistic men no matter how busy it was.
I know this is a shock to you but I know women who train with their partner or male friends at the gym. It’s great that the gym provides that option as women are more likely to have been sexually assaulted or be insecure about weight or appearance so want a space to themselves. Maybe it helped a few members. You can sneer if you want.
I remember a time when there were women only gyms. My mother went to one and would drag me and my brother with her. We were very , very young, and they had a "play pen" for children so that mothers could work out. Yes, it was also during a time when there were still many house wives. A women's only gym can absolutely work, but I don't think that these toxic women really want a women's only gym because they couldn't make their revenue on tik-tok and you tube if they didn't have guys they could bully and shame for no other reason.

I started doing workout in home, and sometimes in a park cause I'm an introvert, so I feel very nervous around people. Now I wanted to go to the gym (perhaps I could get along with people), but seeing this stuff... I dodged a big ass bullet staying home.

You should NEVER use clips because you learn balance and control - that's what strengthens your secondary muscles. When weights dump, you are simply not strong enough to control them and gravity protects you by removing the weights for you.

I’m seriously starting to like women less and less on a weekly basis. Bunch of drama queen troublemakers. When I was younger, I had just got done working out and I walked past the hot tub. I was about 27 years old and two girls probably about 17 years old. One of them whistled at me and I didn’t get mad. I was flattered.

This man hating, man shaming culture has gotten so out of hand. It goes so far beyond just the gym. I was raised to hold open doors for people. Not just women but anyone. I held the door open at a restaurant last week. Like 4 ppl walked through. Last person was a women. She mumbled something about the patriarchy and spit in my face. I love my parents and try to uphold the standards they raised me on. But I'm sad to say I will no longer hold open doors.

It is impossible to look in any direction without looking at another person. Especially when there are a lot of people in the gym. It's not possible! If I'm doing my workout, I look in front of me. When I'm resting, I look anywhere.
I am a woman. And yesterday I looked the clock on wall. Some woman thought I was looking at her. She stared at me for 40 minutes to see if I was accidentally looking at her. And who's the weirdo here? So no, separate gyms for women do not solve this problem.
So people who have just started are looking at others because they are looking for exercise for themselves. They look and think "This person has achieved the effect I dream of.
