Scary! No. You should have seen the approach on the Trident in the days before the border was opened. I was crew with BEA/BA. It was thrilling. We had to fly between Spain and Gibraltar on a sppecific heading. There was a boat where we had to do a sharp turn them landed on the Rock. Could see through the Cockpit door in those days and just strapped myself in at the last minute. Amazing.
@@Matty12333 No. Flights between Gibraltar and the UK are considered as international flights for both immigration and customs purposes. Gibraltar does not form part of the British Isles 'Common Travel Area' and a passport is required. Gibraltar has it's own immigration controls and visas separate to the UK. Even prior to Brexit Gibraltar was never part of the EU CUSTOMS Union and therefore persons arriving from Gibraltar were treated as arriving from outside the EU for customs purposes, could purchase duty free goods and were subject to the normal import allowances for individuals arriving from outside the EU.
@Hornet_AviationsYT ... In my opinion, not real, a simulation. The window shots showed absolutely no people or vehicle movement of airport ground staff. Airports are a hive of activity. The wind sock was erect but barely moved!!! Pointless video really.
No offense but over 10 min of taxi time isn't really much of a takeoff video. Such a beautiful day and view, I would have loved another less taxi and more airtime. That being said it was a nice takeoff.
Short runway but the scenery views are mesmerizing. Nice takeoff ✋

Sounds scintillating but terrifying
@@skylineaviation6663 C'est la vie.
Did that in mid 70's, my first flight anywhere.
Do you arrive domestic from gibraltar at heathrow?

Thank you for posting! I passed through the Strait of Gibraltar 🇬🇮 on a cruise, where was this flight headed?
BA = Gatwick
Remember drydocking a AHTS vessel in Gibraltar, signing of afterwords and flying back to DK via Gatwick with GB Airways.
Took off in a Vickers Viking, 1960, twin prop, barely airborne and we were over water
Quite some time spent looking at the wing
And a composite wing meaning no rivets to count 😢
@@Itsme-eo9hh I'm not sure what you mean,,, a composite anything means it's composed of something, not that there are no rivets
@@Itsme-eo9hh Who would count the rivets anyway? 🙄
@@hellohandsome9875 it’s a joke on your comment about spending a long time looking at the wing and not having rivet counting as a distraction
@@Itsme-eo9hh Ah right,,,,, your soh got the better of,,,, which isn't too difficult
Nice vid,I have done a landing and take off from there on BA,G-EUUS....
A re-run of this afternoon's take-off....😶
They have to halt traffic going across runway!
Very interesting video.
Glad you enjoyed it

@@skylineaviation6663 I am seaman retired. I knew Gibraltar but from the sea.
Pilot👍👍👍👍👍
The super and excellent service is only : "Air ASEA" . I love AIR ASEA
Great quality video and sound...weather makes a difference when you are filming
Thank you very much for the comment. I 100% agree.

This is the first time I feel the same emotions (i.e. goosebumps) of taking off as if I was on a real airliner. Really impressive !
It’s a scary take off as it’s a short runway sea either end. I’ve done it loads of times. Hated it!
wow magical
You hardly ever got the wing out of the midle of the picture.
Msfs or real life?
