Thankachan Vithura is a well- known Indian actor and comedian who works mostly in the Malayalam industry. He is also a singer, lyricist, composer. He lives in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He studied at Kerala University, India. He graduated in 1990. He is known for movies like Golden Jubily (2011), Kadha Thudarunnu (2010). Sathyan Anthikkad directed Golden Jubily, casting Jayaram, Mamta Mohandas.
Thankachan is interested in mimicry as well as singing right from his childhood and that helped him get a significant place in Mollywood. Mazhavil Manorama hosted a comedy festival and that was a great turning point in Thankachan’s career. It took him to heights and made him popular among the TV audience. He had also appeared in Flowers TV’s comedy Show, Star Magic and gained the audience's attention.
