mario odyssey felt like it kept the spirit of the galaxy games, and I personally consider it the 3rd galaxy game. Although I would love to see a 3rd official Galaxy game

I remember playing the super maro galaxy series with my younger brother back in 2012-2015. One of my old friends got me both games for my birthday, and I can't thank him enough for that. Even though my memory has been fading, I know that this game has a place in my heart and I'll miss the times where I could play this game without a care in the world.

My family got Mario Galaxy the day I was born, not for me but for my brother. Once I grew up a little bit and started playing it, I fell in love with the game. You shout with pure power and with that, the whole basement explodes but you carry your friend out of the house before its too late. 1:38:05 You realize the explosions wont stop and that gives you a bad feeling. 1:38:41 After one final explosion, you look back but you see a huge mesh of everyone in the world meshed together. I recently got Super Mario 3-D All-Stars for the switch, and have been playing Super Mario Galaxy. Hearing the soundtrack for the first time since being a very small child really brought me back...
This game was my childhood,I remember going with my dad for the weekend (my parents are split up so I would see my dad on weekends) and he got me super Mario galaxy for my birthday and I loved Mario but never even heard of this game. However once I started playing it there was no going back, everything from gameplay to visuals to music was just SO GOOD! Especially for its time in 2008! But this game changed my life in fact I think that’s why I might have joined band and although I don’t do it anymore since I’ve graduated I was in band from 5th grade all the way to senior year of high school. But this game just reminds me of the good times when life was easier and when I used to see my dad so much more than now. It’s not like we have a bad relationship, it’s just now that I’ve grown I have my own responsibilities to take care of and it’s hard to see him but I’ll never forget the first time I even looked at the game!
Rosalina in the Observatory having 3 different variations, each becoming more fully orcehstrated as you progress through the game, is just one of the many facets that is a testament to the magnificence of this soundtrack
I’m 15 years old right now, I started playing wii as soon as I had a counciouse I guess. This game, donkey Kong country returns, new super Mario bros wii, smash bros brawl, warrior land shake it, and UA-cam/Netflix set the standards of video games to me. I’ve gone on to play all types of games, from the strategy league of legends, to the horrors of resident evil and Diablo, and the calmness of Minecraft. Although these are big games I can assure I’ve played everything in between, even being a top 1% in a few. But the absolute sheer magnificence of Super Mario Galaxy, such as the fun gameplay, quirky game mechanics and game viewing, to the most beautiful game soundtrack of all time. This game takes the cake for my favorite game, and favorite game soundtrack ever. The music, made from one of the most professional orchestras of all time, and brilliant writing is so great, it fills my heart with joy to hear the beats in the new Mario movie.
@@skip2682 as a kid, I understood that the gateway was something more than just a starter planet. that's why it always make me very sad and is the most nostalgic and one of my favorite music pieces in the game. the saddest part about the storybook for me was how the lumas kept on coming and going. that was devastating for me to learn. they just transform. also they never found the original luma's mom.

My family got Mario Galaxy the day I was born, not for me but for my brother. Once I grew up a little bit and started playing it, I fell in love with the game. Now I'm 15 and my brother is 20, I felt nothing but joy when I listened to the soundtrack. I'll never stop loving the absolute masterpiece of a game that Mario Galaxy is, one of my favorite games ever and my favorite game soundtrack of all time. The nostalgia almost makes me cry not even gonna lie.
Just listened to this while cooking with mum. This will one day be a very treasured memory. 🥺😭

Everything is on fire from the liquid and before you get hit into the fire you grab Mr Beast to throw him into the fire. "So long, Gay Mr Beast!" You shout with pure power and with that, the whole basement explodes but you carry your friend out of the house before its too late.

This game was my childhood,I remember going with my dad for the weekend (my parents are split up so I would see my dad on weekends) and he got me super Mario galaxy for my birthday and I loved Mario but never even heard of this game. However once I started playing it there was no going back, everything from gameplay to visuals to music was just SO GOOD! Especially for its time in 2008! But this game changed my life in fact I think that’s why I might have joined band and although I don’t do it anymore since I’ve graduated I was in band from 5th grade all the way to senior year of high school. But this game just reminds me of the good times when life was easier and when I used to see my dad so much more than now. It’s not like we have a bad relationship, it’s just now that I’ve grown I have my own responsibilities to take care of and it’s hard to see him but I’ll never forget the first time I even looked at the game!
Also btw good egg galaxy best track in game and you can’t change my mind 🤣

Rosalina in the Observatory having 3 different variations, each becoming more fully orcehstrated as you progress through the game, is just one of the many facets that is a testament to the magnificence of this soundtrack

I’m 15 years old right now, I started playing wii as soon as I had a counciouse I guess. This game, donkey Kong country returns, new super Mario bros wii, smash bros brawl, warrior land shake it, and UA-cam/Netflix set the standards of video games to me. I’ve gone on to play all types of games, from the strategy league of legends, to the horrors of resident evil and Diablo, and the calmness of Minecraft. Although these are big games I can assure I’ve played everything in between, even being a top 1% in a few. But the absolute sheer magnificence of Super Mario Galaxy, such as the fun gameplay, quirky game mechanics and game viewing, to the most beautiful game soundtrack of all time. This game takes the cake for my favorite game, and favorite game soundtrack ever. The music, made from one of the most professional orchestras of all time, and brilliant writing is so great, it fills my heart with joy to hear the beats in the new Mario movie.

nah the story book hit me pretty hard as a kid. i don't even remember what happened, i just remember being sad abt it.
@@skip2682 all I understood was that her mother was dead and Rosalina was alone in space, which is pretty scary when you're a child
@@skip2682 as a kid, I understood that the gateway was something more than just a starter planet. that's why it always make me very sad and is the most nostalgic and one of my favorite music pieces in the game.
the saddest part about the storybook for me was how the lumas kept on coming and going. that was devastating for me to learn. they just transform.
also they never found the original luma's mom.
