Hi Dave, I'm putting an aftermarket momo steering wheel in my van but the new collar won't fit over airbag lead sticking out of the squib 😅 I'm thinking of just cutting it flush but I know I will have a constant airbag light then as I will have no connection to stick a airbag simulator resistor on! Do you have any helps or tips on this matter as it's really bugging me 😅.

Hi Dave, really useful video. Very well explained.
I have a squeaking issue with my steering wheel on Renault Trafic 2011 which sounds like it's at the very top of the steering column. It's quiet but noticeable whenever making mainly full rotations either clockwise or anticlockwise.
My local garage have looked at, without removing the steering wheel, and think that it's plastic rubbing while being turned. When I listen carefully, it sounds more like metal rubbing. Nothing feels loose. The steering is smooth when turning.
As you've taken the steering wheel.area apart, I'm wondering if you might know what is causing this squeaking within the steering area.
Your help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks

The horn on my 08 doesn't work checked fuses etc think it might be contact's but it's got radio controls on the steering wheel .

If you haven't fixed it check the wiring connectors as they go bad over time with corrosion, also the horns are junk so might be the horn itself.
      Sorry for the late reply.
