I'm a sucker for little details. When I first found this video a week or so ago, I was enthralled with the attention to details in the animation. From the near perfect voice sync, to the facial animations, to how natural the poses seem, I gotta give you mad props. *hands you props that are indeed mad*

The more I watch this, the more I fall in love with it. It's all the little details. The expressions in the little wings, the swish of the dress in the swirl, the subtle and sudden changes in the eyes, the candle flickers in time to the beat, the camera shake on the stomp, and not to mention how cute those little angels?, devils? are.
I'm not exaggerating when I say this: you have the best MMD animation quality I've ever seen. Everything actually looks fluid and natural, the dance moves, the facial animations and lipsync, even the fabric of her skirt moves like an actual skirt would! I didn't know that kind of detail was possible in a program like MMD. Seriously impressive stuff.
You're too kind, but most of it comes down to the skill of the model maker, and the amount of effort the animator chooses to put in. The animation system rarely matters when it comes to quality.

This is literally amazing I- dude it’s so rare to find someone so talented in the mmd type animation! You can feel the weight of the characters and their movements. And the bouncy animation adds so much more character to it!
The choreography for this is seriously amazing- I'm not usually one for these kinds of animations but this blew me away-- there's so much to the progression of her "downfall" and you really showed it in a fantastic way, amazing work!

I really loved the movement and emotion in this. The designs for the models are cute, but you weren't afraid to make Alice look *terrifying* when the moment called for it, be it in how her eye spasms or how wide her mouth can actually open. It gives her the authoritative, intimidating presence this song quite literally demands.

The is probably the best MMD animation on this website. Movements aren't stilted, fitting facial expressions, and really bloody good models. (Especially the human Bendy one. Really fits him.) Good job, dude.
I cant stop watching this and i love the cover. You captured the parts where Alice was losing it and wearing the outfit she wear when you first meet her. I love it and im thinking about doing animation myself and this inspires me more into doing it. Keep up the good work! I love all of your works and this is the best so far
I've never been a fan of MMD stuff since most of it looks half finished or like they didn't put all they have into it. But this is clearly not that. It's obvious how much work you put into this and it really paid off. I love it
Keep Calm And Eat COOKIES No, MMD is not glitchy. It doesn't have a great physics engine. Thats all really. It just takes a bit more trial an error to work around that. When things look shit, most of the time its not the systems fault, its the animators fault. Either for not caring or not having enough experience. Of course experience comes with time, but there are a lot of MMD channels out there that just don't give a shit unfortunately...

Absolutely LOVED all the movement! Even when the upper body was only being shot, you still kept the lower body moving, which gave so much life to the video. I'm going to say this once again: this animation is so great, SO great that I would want to find a way to be inputted into the world of BATIM and meet Alice and get to know her, even if she's insane but absolutely HOT, and have fun. BUT there is a catch: I must be inputted this animation of the BATIM world. If anyone can find a way to do that, that will be the best thing that can happen in my life. Honestly thats just people not trying hard enough to not get clipping. This model is also rigged better than most, so its harder to get clipping, but on normal tda, you just have to take an extra 2 seconds to say, "maybe i shouldnt push the facial that far because it breaks their fucking face." But usually they dont.

Holy crap this animation is absolutely stunning! Dont get me wrong, the vocals, music, and animation all worked together really well to create this amazing cover, and they were all excellent in their own right. But (to me atleast) the animation really stood out. It just felt so, alive, it really portrayed the feelings of the lyrics insanely well. Its not often I can truthfully say it actually felt like she was there, actually performing the song. Not to mention all the small little details that shows you really went over and beyond. I really cant describe it better then that, im at a loss for words, simply amazing.
I have to agree. I think it was the attention paid to the facial animations. It's not just that they're conveying emotion, but they're always shifting and evolving (In some animation you just see it shift from one emotion to another and stay there). Then the slow degradation and madness as the song progresses. It's the constant changes, even when the emotion she is conveying is relatively static that make her seem so lively and engaging. You can mute the audio, just watch the video, and get a sense of what emotions she's conveying, and what is going on just from the animation, and that's how you know it was done right.

This is one of the most amazing character animations I've ever seen. The choreography is great for her and her expressions match the music and tone of her voice perfectly. Not only that but you managed to express what Alice used to be, how she sees herself, and what she's become all simultaneously and flawlessly. Fantastic job! I just feel bad for poor Boris!

That was absolutely amazing. Wonderful job Pucca. It was really fun seeing the progress on this over time via streams, and now seeing the whole thing brought together just makes it even greater.
I really like the symbolism you put in the length of her skirt. What I mean is that, when she is in her "perfect" form, her skirt has a white trim and it is long enough to be under her knees. This was seen as perfect modesty in 1930's, or *angelic* if you will. But when she is more inky or in private, her skirt is over the knees, and has no white trim. This was a lot more scandalous and seductive, traits that were not often associated with angels. She wants to be the perfect angel, but in private she lets out her demons a bit more freely.
everything about this video is just flawless. the animations are incredibly smooth and realistic, your choice of effects is outstanding! You have good taste! The visual effects make it look absolutely phenominal! The smol Alices' motions were adorable! They added a hint of comedy and cuteness! The animation progress must be complicated and long, one might even question the amount of storage you have in your PC. Keep up the gorgeous work! I really loved the movement and emotion in this. The designs for the models are cute, but you weren't afraid to make Alice look *terrifying* when the moment called for it, be it in how her eye spasms or how wide her mouth can actually open. It gives her the authoritative, intimidating presence this song quite literally demands.

I've never been a fan of MMD stuff since most of it looks half finished or like they didn't put all they have into it. But this is clearly not that. It's obvious how much work you put into this and it really paid off. I love it

Keep Calm And Eat COOKIES No, MMD is not glitchy. It doesn't have a great physics engine. Thats all really. It just takes a bit more trial an error to work around that. When things look shit, most of the time its not the systems fault, its the animators fault. Either for not caring or not having enough experience. Of course experience comes with time, but there are a lot of MMD channels out there that just don't give a shit unfortunately...

3:17 I love how their is no teeth clipping through her chin! Every other Mmd I see teeth through the models chin when their mouth is opened wide! But this is impressive!! How you do it?
Honestly thats just people not trying hard enough to not get clipping. This model is also rigged better than most, so its harder to get clipping, but on normal tda, you just have to take an extra 2 seconds to say, "maybe i shouldnt push the facial that far because it breaks their fucking face." But usually they dont.

Holy crap this animation is absolutely stunning!
Dont get me wrong, the vocals, music, and animation all worked together really well to create this amazing cover, and they were all excellent in their own right.
But (to me atleast) the animation really stood out.
It just felt so, alive, it really portrayed the feelings of the lyrics insanely well.
Its not often I can truthfully say it actually felt like she was there, actually performing the song.
Not to mention all the small little details that shows you really went over and beyond.
I really cant describe it better then that, im at a loss for words, simply amazing.
I have to agree. I think it was the attention paid to the facial animations. It's not just that they're conveying emotion, but they're always shifting and evolving (In some animation you just see it shift from one emotion to another and stay there). Then the slow degradation and madness as the song progresses. It's the constant changes, even when the emotion she is conveying is relatively static that make her seem so lively and engaging.
You can mute the audio, just watch the video, and get a sense of what emotions she's conveying, and what is going on just from the animation, and that's how you know it was done right.

This is one of the most amazing character animations I've ever seen. The choreography is great for her and her expressions match the music and tone of her voice perfectly. I really like the symbolism you put in the length of her skirt.
What I mean is that, when she is in her "perfect" form, her skirt has a white trim and it is long enough to be under her knees. This was seen as perfect modesty in 1930's, or *angelic* if you will.
But when she is more inky or in private, her skirt is over the knees, and has no white trim. This was a lot more scandalous and seductive, traits that were not often associated with angels.
She wants to be the perfect angel, but in private she lets out her demons a bit more freely.
