I heard the way they chose this unit was YG came in and asked the whole group who thought they were the most handsome out of everyone. The ones who stood up and claimed it became this unit, so it's instantly the most confident of them all and it really shows

Jihoon admitted on Idol Radio that the hand raising story was a fun gimmick. Junkyu submitted the song to the company and after hearing the song the company staff decided which members would best suit the concept. 😊

Well YG has a gimmick story saying he asked the group who is the most handsome member and these 5 raised their hands. It wasn’t a true reason as how T5 was formed. But he did later say in the announcement that this unit is a mix of visuals + strong dancers/choreography + unique vocals.
Also, I felt that he wanted to give more recognition and shine to Jaehyuk, Doyoung, and Junghwan because they tend to not get a lot of shine in previous TREASURE releases. Also, those 3 are very strong dancers as well.. Doyoung has beautiful dance lines and has a good feel of dancing. Junghwan exudes power and strength when he’s dancing, but he said he has learned how to soften his dance lines recently and more so in T5 choreography. Jaehyuk has his own energy and style in dancing and he’s soooo smooth. These 3 also have such unique vocals that hasn’t been heard as much unless you listen to their b-sides. Jaehyuk has this very sleepy pretty vocal tone, Doyoung’s vocals is so crisp and light, and Junghwan’s vocals also has such this pretty and slight husky voice more so with his voice getting deeper since debut.
We already know what Junkyu and Jihoon brings on the daily, but they still impress in this unit. ❤

@@Yetti. they’re all handsome.. you can’t ask me who is the most handsome out of my sons? I honestly can’t look at them as more cuz I’m a lot older than them.😂
But I can tell you who stood out more so lately especially in TREASURE’s recent comeback. I have always thought the J-line in TREASURE are legit visuals tbh.. so I’m not counting them cuz.. I mean that’s not fair. But lately.. Junghwan and Jeongwoo matured in their visuals especially Junghwan. He is on a different level.. maybe cuz it’s the long hair or the fact that he’s gotten taller and leaner/well toned.. the kid has abs and been flaunting it since last year in concerts. But yeah visually he’s been sky rocketing.. I’m like WHO IS THIS?! That is NOT MY SON! Jeongwoo is his teaser photos just looks so gorgeous and grown.. I literally cried when I saw their teaser photos.. I’m like “THEY’RE GROWING UP BEAUTIFULLY, I AM DAMN PROUD OF THESE TWO! ALSO MUST PROTECT AT THE SAME TIME!!” 😩😩😩

@@Yetti. Maybe you should start first with the title track, BONABONA, MV & Dance Practice because this track is very different from the b-sides❣️. It's hard to choose what you'll check out first because all the b-sides are title track worthy, and even the members themselves have different suggestions for the management on choosing the title track.😂
3:51 well we kinda agreed that this is most def a sensual song and the fact Junkyu wrote the lyrics makes this even more mindblowing! 😂 Checkout out I WANT YOUR LOVE in the album and he did it again 😂 He balanced it with BOMB as this wholesome, romantic, love song. Haha!
I remember you saying how a few sec lines doesn’t do justice to the members and that’s a fact that many stans love dismissing so having this unit and Junkyu composing most of it is truly an opportunity we’ve all been waiting for! Most of T5 usually gets below 10 secs of line in their songs. MOVE proved everyone that they have more talent they haven’t shown ❤ so happy for them especially Junkyu! It’s been so long since I heard him actually sing and those vocal gumnastics from the bridge to the outro quenched my thirst 🤧
