I got into Rugby Union 4 years ago. I spend $130 a year to get Gallagher Prem, 6 Nations and Euro Cup. NBC Sports app. Money well spent. Love my Sale Sharks.

How big is rugby league in the US? I've heard it's developing and I've been looking into it recently, would be nice to what a proper supporter has to say.

JJJamesG Honestly it’s pretty small. Most people don’t even know anything about Union. I try to spread the gospel. People defo appreciate the physicality. New York City Rugby League Super League team was in New York Times. Both codes could be huge in USA. Just not widely known.

@@usarugbyleagueunionfan I've tried to keep up where I can through Atlanta Rhinos. What do you think needs to be done to improve the sport over there? Is it purely amateur?

JJJamesG Awesome dude. I follow USARL as much as I can. They don’t always show the games. It’s purely amateur. There’s no animosity between the Rugby codes here because both have a small imprint. Union is way bigger though. I watch a lot of MLR and I love it. I’ll always support our league. It will grow when it’s exposed more. The NFL is a shit show now. It’s terrible. I used to be a massive NFL fan. American football fans would love both codes if they knew more about it. That’s why owners are investing in MLR. It’s the future.

@@usarugbyleagueunionfan I'm on a sports course at uni and that's what we've been hearing about the NFL. With soccer growing in popularity it's not surprising American Football is dropping in popularity. You can tell me if this is complete BS or not because I'm not quite sure how your sport governing bodies work - but as you can play and organise rugby league, union, and soccer for amateur level, the popularity of the sports will grow and so will the desire to see top quality rugby league/Union. Hopefully that will happen sometime in the future. And hopefully I'll be able to get a career out of rugby in America haha. Thanks for giving me this insight.

I appreciate that the majority of these are safe (a few with head in front) and, at worst, a couple are questionable, legally speaking. Players getting bounced are mostly tackling poorly. Typically, these compilations are full of dangerous and illegal hits. Kudos!

+1 completely. So good to see a high quality compilation made up of good hits without resorting to shoulder charges, high tackles and reckless play.

Maybe some are illegal but that's part and parcel of playing professional rugby basically don't be a bitch

Spiritual successor to the old Try Savers & Rib Breakers videos that rugby dump used to put out. Very nice.

Out of all the teams I’ve watched throughout the years I’d have to say the Northampton saints hold the mantle for hardest hitters. They’re a consistent heavy hitting side when it counts and how they manage to keep it legal too is why I’d say they’re the heavy hitters of the prem.

you've missed some good ones:( and how are you going to make a montage of the biggest hits in the prem history and not include Alesana tuilagi?

    • @LewisPeterward

LHRugby I think he's a good but dirty rugby payer so I agree him not being included
