Appreciate your Video on this Sheeran X looper. I would like to buy a looper (new to this) however , they all seem to be overwhelming/complicated and do not function in a live environment . The Sheeran X looper is not withing my budget and overwhelming (for me). So......I was looking at the Sheeran +. From my understanding, with the Sherran + there is no individual volume control on the loop tracks for guitar/vocals ? Guess I'm a bit disappointed with these Sheeran loopers. I really like Ed Sheeran and was all excited when first hearing about these loopers. Thinking.....great, someone who actually does this for a living will know & l understand what us musicians need/want.............Simplicity /Easy to use & understand. Guess not. The only real nice thing about the Sheeran loopers are those larger silent pedals that you don't need to double click on ! That alone is a great feature !
The Boss RC500 and Boomerang Phase 3 loopers are near perfect as far as simplicity /function of what we live gig out (musicians ) are looking for. All these 2 companies mentioned need to do is put those nice big , nice silent, non-double click , foot switches on them ! ! ! ! Thank you again for what you do. (from one struggling musician to another)

unreal. so basically, the old headrush is just fine in 2024, except for the switches. I sure appreciate you posting this! Thanks so much! And by the way, your English is just fine! You used "pre-determined" and "bash" correctly too...so keep up the great videos!
First, Thank you very much ;). And yes.... basically i think the Headrush used is a better Looper. It is more stable, the sound is exactly the same, effects too (see my other video). The only reason that speaks for the Sheeran are the switches and if you loop the exact same way as Ed, the workflow. I will send mine back. Sadly.
I really want to like it. But it's not working properly for everything else as Ed Sheerans workflow. And for this it is very expensive. I don't want to be a Beta Tester anymore. I wish Companys would act different today. At least get the very Basic stuff running before you release it to public..... Wishing

Have you downloaded the patch that you are supposed to download on release? I believe this problem has already been fixed. I don't get the cut off that you are experiencing.

@@SebastianBogensperger Okay, You are right. The reason I don't have the problem is because I always lay down the first loop on track 1, which is typically my percussion track and it's a short loop. So track one is like the main track that all other tracks have to be synced to.
Not sure why that is or how to change it. I tried laying down guitar first on track 2 and it was a disaster.
I was going to purchase one but it sounds like it’s still “buggy”. And I don’t have internet in the house, just cellular phone service. ☹️
Yes! This is driving me crazy and really messing with workflow for me. I’ve used a Boomerang 3 for 15 years and never had any problems. the Band and Song modes don’t seem to work like they are intended. Everything else seems awesome but if I can’t have a master loop that syncs with my other tracks what’s the point? Surely this will be fixed in a firmware update, right?
@@DaveLittrellBandMY experience is that using track one creates a main track that can be sync'd. The video poster has a different opinion. Maybe try this for yourself. You should get a crown Icon on your main track and everything should sync to that.
I can't afford one yet but it's on my list, I'm waiting for someone to use band mode to do a cover song. I don't care what the cover song is, just something with a verse, chorus, bridge, a cover that has a change in tempo or at least a video on your basic acoustic covers like nirvana or Neil young or something that doesn't just repeat the whole time😂 I've scoured you tube and nobody has done a video on band mode yet. Thank you for trying and I'm sorry you are having issues, maybe it is because of track 1 needing to be the main follow track ? Good luck i hope to see more demos from you 😊
HIHO @fenderfox5080 Thank you very much! From the functions, track 1 doesn't have to be the main follow track. The track recorded first (no matter what track) will be the main track.
@SebastianBogensperger oh ok, I don't have one but I want one 😆, if you ever get time I'd love to see a cover of a song with different parts. Nobody has done a demo of this yet and this is a deciding factor for me. If not that's ok, I'll still subscribe to your channel 🙏 I too have a music page only im still building it and learning allot on the way.
@@fenderfox5080 HIHO Fenderfox :). Thanks again :D. I will see if i get this done before i need to send it back. But, although not very well done, the parts i am playing here are like two songparts with rythm part. So it would be pretty much the same as this video just played better ;)
Less is more. For now, will not get a looper, I've done fine without one playing live gigs /busking solo and with my band. I/we get plenty of jobs and we keep things simple . Less to get screwed up on live gigs. IMO 🎸🎸🎸 There is no perfect gear. Better to work on your talent /skill and you'll do fine.
