Superb video and great to see the Transall and DC-10, absolute classics. I remember seeing Luftwaffe Transalls in the '70's at airshows in the UK, they certainly have had a stellar career.

Is nobody going to address the absolute state of that Hercules' landing? He had it hopped up on one main gear and tipped towards the nose gear, with sustained bank on the rollout! What a disaster

To me the A320 series nose gear wheels looks smaller but they may be because the struts are a lot longer. Nearly all the weight is on the main wheels so there is only a relatively small amount on nose wheels - just enough plus a margin to keep it balanced. Some operators use tail stands on 737-800 and I think it’s mandatory on a -900 and up.
