buy an extractor or distiller to make juniper berry oil, and start making juniper soaps,shampoo,lotions- good business to start in such a remote place. you can drive to the post office once a week and mail out to eBay customers, drop some at nearest stores etc
I looked at that area many year's ago. There is some nice land there. Heck of deal! Most areas have cattle grates to prevent cattle from getting out. Really nice area for ranching.
Yes cattle all over the area. Fences and grates to keep the off the highway. If you open a gate close it behind you or the rancher will come after you!

Really good question thanks Angela for answering. The HOA and POA are the people that tell you what you can and can't do in the area like leave your garage door open. Park a boat in the front yard and all kinds of things like that neighbors like to hold over you.
There are a couple private properties before this one off the highway. You access it form one of the smaller roads there that don't have street view. There is a little road on the west and the south border of the land to get to it with.
Orange oil is cheap and kills all the bugs. It clogs up their pores that they breath through. Spray that around and no more bugs. For the snakes get some chickens. Gulp
i will be moving to that county to start my homestead in the next year, looking for plenty of Pinyon pine

There are so many ways to sell your products now. Can do it from anywhere there is good internet too.

In Arizona they plan for expansion of highways. It looks as if the property is set back for that reason. I don't know. But, is common in Arizona

I love animals so wouldn't mind living quietly among the animals but would not be able to tolerate dealing with scorpions.or rattlesnakes.
