This is a good movie. I can relate to the blind Jedi and I feel what she is feeling because I am blind as well. My friend watched this with me and described what was happening and what the characters look like. Good job with this film.
One of the better fan films out there. Great makeup, cinematography and editing. But more importantly there is a story with good character development. Well done!
Interesting concept. She completed her own training and manufactured her lightsaber without going to the temple. Unique I think. I like it. Worthy of a follow up story I believe. And lots of room in the storyline for it .....
TJ's Practical DIY Interesting you should say that! There has been a lot of talk of doing a follow up story or even turning something like this into a feature, obviously outside the Star Wars Universe. We're excited to see what happens!
They chose some pretty good actors to play child and adult. Most child to adult actors in some shows dont even look alike. But here the girl child is a dead ringer for the adult woman Jedi.
I immediately liked this for the simple fact that finally someone remembered to put the padawan braid on a padawan! And she's still a padawan even at that age, instead of little kids like many believe.
Kev Sims I feel like the enemy shouldn't have been all red with spikes, seems like it was trying to hard to make him out as evil. Should have just been a guy in black with a very calm but serious demeanor.
Kev Sims Maybe you could have ended it with multiple Sith finally finding her location. And now this me're padawan who was lost blind in the forest for weeks or even months now must fight a band of skilled Sith who were out to kill her and her master. She's however is able to skillfully fight and defeat every single one of them because her blindness allows her to perceive the world with the force. She can feel her enemies movement all around her, even though she is blind she can see more than they can. Her fighting style would also be original, much of her light saber fighting techniques would actually be her not even holding onto the lightsaber but instead throwing it around constantly with the force. This story would be the emergence story of the blind jedi that can wield 10 floating light sabers with the force.
As a Star Wars fan with both depression and anxiety since childhood, thank you so much for making this film. In a galaxy far, far away, sometimes it's easy to forget Jedi experience those things, too. MTFBWY. - Adrian
SanguivorousRevenant thank you for saying that. That's why we wanted to make this film. It was never about making an awesome lightsaber fight - there are plenty of those out there - we wanted to tell a different story. Not everyone connects with it or understands it, but we didn't make it for them. Cheers, brother - I admire you for the battles you fight. God bless and MTFBWY
One thing lacking in the movies, as well as most fan films, is atmosphere containing the right dosage of gravitas...and I've found it in this film! You should all be proud of what you've created, cast and crew!
I dunno, I think someone capable of wielding it like that with their mind would be more than capable of keeping control of it when most others seem to barely be able to pick it up when it's just lying there.
I agree, have thought a lot about this, if you think further you realise that with the force you can win in every scenario. you can wield guns, lightsaber, cause malfunctions in body's, droids and spacecrafts. Why get yourself in danger when you just can control your lightsaber from a distance? Of course it's far less fun to watch but then you got people like me thinking too much about this
Agreed! Been doing something similar with Wudang sword the past 15 years, with the sword following my movements, although levitating the sword is another level all together!
Reminds me of the ahsoka book that covers her between order 66 and rebels when she collects random mechanical parts the whole book and then uses them to make her 2 white lightsabers at the end
Because people are trying to make a dollar off fan film makers. "Ohh you need a permit this, for that!" "You can't be here blah, blah, blah!" You need permission." All that nonsense.
You don't have to pay extras or create an expensive CGI city in the forest...you just have to make sure your shots are relatively clear of roads, power lines, and the occasional car.
It wasn't JUST the forest.. there was the whole canyon, side and top with breathtaking footage with the clouds and sun within the open skyspere, how can you call nature cheap and that it make's you sick?
watched it, didn't care for it. A: Im more of a Jedi fan B: i've hated Darth Maul since they brought him back with apparently no stomach from a 1,000 foot fall
Michael Rebholz yeah, exactly, there is no possible what Darth Maul could've survived that. sure, the lightsaber cauterizes wounds instantly, but still, assuming that Darth Maul has the same organ layout as a human, his lower and large intestines would be destroyed, his lower spinal column would be destroyed, his kidneys could've been destroyed, and his circulatory system would been permanently destroyed. In short, even if he had survived the actual wound and the fall, he would have died from either massive septic shock, (blood poisoning), or from massive blood loss, (not because of bleeding but because the circulatory system would be effectively halved, and would wreck chaos to the entire body within seconds.) And even if he had managed to survive this, he would've been crippled by paralysis from missing almost half his spinal column.
Jewosaurus Rex you have to remember that Darth maul was probably one of the most powerful Sith next to Darth sideous at that time. its said that he uses the pure force of hatred to keep himself alive
This film is just great. More and more we're seeing fan films with visceral substance, and this is one of them. Superb work, keep it up, please! Disney should hire you to write, seriously.
Great film. I loved the flashback idea. It really makes you think about what a child padawan's life might be like. Nice environment as well. Defiantly felt off-planet.
genuinely amazing fan film! probably my favourite fan film. just truly amazing the actor was outstanding and the music was unorthodox but immersed me into the film even more. 9/10 really good film. only wish it could be longer.
This was beautiful! Awesome story, visuals, acting, and costumes! Very original props too! Keep it coming, if you still have the patience :) Thank you!
Wow, this is so inspiring! For life, and for a Star Wars fan fiction I'm creating with a blind Jedi character. Amazing film, well done, beautiful music, and a wonderful theme. Thank you for sharing this great work of art!
Really well done! Costumes were super cool, I was invested in the character right from the beginning, great character development and visuals. Jedi should use the force more, superb short film!
I really like how in the beginning she was conflicted about mourning her master’s death. Like she remembers her Jedi training about non-attachment then she gave in to her emotions. A subtle & nice touch. Great film
Very cool. The inner strength of people can be truly amazing and beautiful. I rarely ever run into people like that though. Time for some traveling. May the force/god guide you all.
Know what I think would be really cool? At some Star Wars attraction, have a special area for blind people to experience a film like this, MINUS the visual component. Have the sounds, smells, sensations that Alenna herself goes through, and convey them to a blind person with at least their remaining senses (smell, taste, touch, hearing). Let them go through the motions as if they were starring in the role, as if they were the Padawan learning from the Master and from the living Force surrounding them. Eventually (hopefully) science will enable the blind to see, in which case the above would be more recreational than truly awe-inspiring; and, for those who might for whatever reason choose to remain blind, future technology might allow for direct linking to their brain's optical processing areas to project some semblance of the visual experience directly into their head. I would help kickstart something like this. Anyone who's blind or deaf is literally missing out on a lot of things most of us take for granted, to enable them to have an exhilarating if different experience along those lines would seem like a great thing to be able to provide to people... at a *reasonable* cost, of course.
Bruh, the original trilogy is already an audio drama, and there's a brilliant audio drama made for the story of Dark Forces & Jedi Knight: DF2. You should check them out on audible. I'm listening through them the 4th time and it's still amazing, like watching the movie in your head (which in some ways is better). Brilliant for bus waiting, planes and long journeys, or a little before sleep every night. I gave them, and many more to my blind friend, so they could have months and months of movies which are just as good when 'rewatching' as the first time.
What you are describing is amazing, even if you weren't blind, I'm sure everyone would enjoy that experience and could benefit from it! How often do we stop to appreciate the environment, smell what is around us, touch, feel, connect. I think this is an amazing idea! :D
Really an Amazing job! It really captured the power and the beauty of the force, and not just another swordfight! I loved it, one of the best Star Wars fan movies I have ever seen! :) Though I have to say, it looked a lot like earthbending at 5:13! ;)
Came on Carbonite Chat's recommondation.. he reviews films and brings us 1-2wk.. he told us your's is a MUST see, and the best FanFilm he's yet seen.. I have to say that I agree 100%.. BRAVO to everyone involved.. Very unique yet believable conceptualization of a straight forward and to the point, very probable scenario.. Standing-O to the director/writers, the Cello playing of Dysonant Soul, the balanced acting, and just the all around effect of concoction.. Congratulations, and too bad Rey showed not one bit of the trials and earning of her powers as did Macellan, I would then go and see Ep9 if Mickey were in it
All of our love back at you guy's.. I sure hope fate will come knocking and you guys can somewhen give us somemore of this level great, great stuff.. POWER and MTFBWY ALL
I am in love with her outfit. My favorite color is blue and i would love an outfit like hers. I also love it for the fact that it isn't your typical black or brown jedi robes.
Thanks, Daniel! Our amazing costume designers Julie Whiteley and Chelsea Alley did such an amazing job! I'm thinking they should sell Alenna's robes. Wonder how Disney would feel about that, ha-ha.
I'd be lying if I didn't say I was beyond impressed by this, and feeling some feels the entire film. Palpable sadness and determination is felt by the apprentice, and it felt way shorter than it was. Time flies when you're having fun for sure.
I have watched many SW fan-films tonight : this one has many outstanding qualities ! I was touched for one. The drama and spirit, the original and elegant style, the different music, beautiful scenes and image quality... wow
Phenomenal film. That was breath taking, and it was perfectly filmed. Congratulations. The best star wars fan films I have ever seen. Perhapes even better than some of the star wars content Lucasfilm makes themselves. Love it. Beautiful.
This film is awesome because it shows you strong the force is and what a person feels when someone is lost that is important to there life and effects we’re 👍.
Amazing Visuals and haunting music, I like this spiritual look at Star Wars. Some truly fantastic shots, The creators and actors should be proud of what they achieved here! :)
Amazing this Padawan got more Training in 16 plus minutes then Rey did in 3 Major Motion Pictures !! Thank You !!
It's 2023, and this is still my favorite Star Wars fan film. BRAVO!
well done.. especially the attention to details..from her scratches to her fingernails. top notch acting..
This is a good movie. I can relate to the blind Jedi and I feel what she is feeling because I am blind as well. My friend watched this with me and described what was happening and what the characters look like. Good job with this film.
and you are typing
@@temps1959 it's called braille 🤦♀️
Sarah, you are stronger than even we know.. XO
What are you using to write with if its a keyboard fair enough but if not then what?
@Chen Lee it's a silly question I know what to and what not
One of the better fan films out there. Great makeup, cinematography and editing. But more importantly there is a story with good character development. Well done!
Thank you! That was our main focus!
The acting is good to compare to most fan films.
Definitely a Jedi to remember. And this is coming from someone who isn't a big Jedi fan.
I really, really liked it. I love how she realises her blindness allows her to see more with the Force.
Bryian Hampton I've seen a few with the braid. It makes me sad that I might be cutting my own off soon.
Very good acting, she was great!
Roshawn Terrell agreed...all but the last line. Great film though.
Roshawn Terrell actually if she had only simply smiled I think would worked well.
Exactly that's what i thought as well, i felt like the ending could have been done better.
Kev Sims I feel like the enemy shouldn't have been all red with spikes, seems like it was trying to hard to make him out as evil. Should have just been a guy in black with a very calm but serious demeanor.

That (her master's) is the most simplistic and beautiful lightsaber I have seen in any fanfilm. I love simple designs.
dwrabauke Ikr. All of those really complicated lightsabers with the bulky handles seem so unwieldy and annoy me!
Saberforge apprentice grade saber
If she used a wooden staff it would have been more awesome.
i love this character development!
Excellent job! Also, it's about time a jedi used the force to wield a lightsaber!
Agreed. :)
Well that would be ok when alone, but in a fight it would be too easy to take it off the other person.
I dunno, I think someone capable of wielding it like that with their mind would be more than capable of keeping control of it when most others seem to barely be able to pick it up when it's just lying there.

Best ones I've seen so far. I love how she was able to look through the eyes of the moth and make a lightsaber out of materials on her. Great job!!!!
Reminds me of the ahsoka book that covers her between order 66 and rebels when she collects random mechanical parts the whole book and then uses them to make her 2 white lightsabers at the end
Thanks for this! Really enjoyed it.
Weird how every fan film conflict between the Jedi and Sith happen in the far off reaches of a Norwegian forest?
Haha, or a Utah forest? ;)
its cheap im sick of it :( but understand its only way for fanmade
Because people are trying to make a dollar off fan film makers. "Ohh you need a permit this, for that!" "You can't be here blah, blah, blah!" You need permission." All that nonsense.

Great story and a high-quality video relative to most fan-made content. Very good!
I usually watch fan films for a laugh but this was genuinely good. Well done
Agreed!
Watch Darth Maul apprentice, its fucking great!
watched it, didn't care for it. A: Im more of a Jedi fan B: i've hated Darth Maul since they brought him back with apparently no stomach from a 1,000 foot fall

Thank you!! That would certainly be a dream job! Appreciate your support. :)
Hire to write?! This was a cliché, half cooked BORE fest...
This is mostly nice forest footage with "Star Wars" slapped in the title...
To write? There was almost no dialog, lol.
Your handle is fitting. I meant the film as a whole, not just the dialogue.
It's a fan film, not a big-budget blockbuster. Appreciate it for what it is, or otherwise strive to top it.
By far the best fan film I've seen! Mickey does an amazing job. I hope she's acting full time! Really great guys!!
Best atmosphere in a SW fan film I've ever seen...
and THAT is why you NEVER piss off a blind person
Great film. One of Best fan film to my mind
This was very well done! The Padowan casting was perfect both young and old.
Thank you, and others like you. Who continue to make star wars movies and shorts that i enjoy.
Brilliant, honestly what I've always depicted a true force user to be!
Great film. I loved the flashback idea. It really makes you think about what a child padawan's life might be like. Nice environment as well. Defiantly felt off-planet.
Wonderfully done! Storyline, music, landscape shots, everything!
That was beautiful! Thank you for making this! ❤
Absolutely brilliant! A great way to see a film focus on the force in this manner, very clever!
Amazing video it’s filming was fantastic
Really enjoyed this. The acting, the music, the direction attention to detail . Just solid through and through . Hope to see more stories from you
Good in her. If I was stuck in the forest with a lightsaber there wouldn't be any trees left.
Best fan film yet. Well done and excellent acting.
If only Rey was half as interesting as Alenna... Great job
This is fantastic. Subtle, delicate, and not overdone. Outstanding film.
genuinely amazing fan film! probably my favourite fan film. just truly amazing the actor was outstanding and the music was unorthodox but immersed me into the film even more. 9/10 really good film. only wish it could be longer.
It's very good good, I especially like the soundtrack.
Beautiful opening. Stunning establishment of relations.
Cool song at the end that was different
Excellent, beautiful, well done. Inspiring. Awakening. This is why Star Wars matters.
This has to be one of the most thoughtful Star Wars Fan Fiction creations I've seen. Great music and very clever editing.
This was beautiful! Awesome story, visuals, acting, and costumes!
Very original props too!
Keep it coming, if you still have the patience :)
Thank you!
Thank you! We appreciate the support and encouragement. :)
you guys did such a amazing job seriously well done
Great film. Everything was spot on. Truly amazing.
Wow, this is so inspiring! For life, and for a Star Wars fan fiction I'm creating with a blind Jedi character. Amazing film, well done, beautiful music, and a wonderful theme. Thank you for sharing this great work of art!
AN absolutely wonderful film great acting ,great production I watched it five times. thank you a mini-masterpiece.
This felt real meaningful. I got more out of this than I do from the usual fan films. Fine work, really.
Out of all the Star Wars fan films this is the most poetic and artistic of them all. Very meditative.
Chris Waltz thank you!!
Excellent.
Beautiful story and great acting
Very nice. This film was done better than most big budget movies
Michael Brown thank you!
This was extremely well made. Got lost in the story completely. sick job 😎
Already she has more depth than "cannon" ray....
Really well done! Costumes were super cool, I was invested in the character right from the beginning, great character development and visuals. Jedi should use the force more, superb short film!
Beautifully acted, shot, and edited! Seriously a standout piece!
Thank you so much!
Definitely my pleasure, I hope it gets you and your work the attention it deserves.
Damn, all the new apprentices are blind.
I thought the same thing! I just watched the other one with the girl that blinded herself. XD
Aki U haha this is true. but in our defense, we released ours first :) I don't know how we both came up with such similar ideas at the same time.
Bryson Alley It's okay, just make up for it by doing a collaboration of the blind Jedi masters...
*Not so subtle hint hint... wink wink* ;)
Aki U that would be amazing! I'd love to! We'll see if that works out in the future sometime!
Bryson Alley *subscribes and waits with hope* ;____;
I watch the fan films as they are better than any thing Disney puts out be a true fan and the force will be with you always
A great, introspective film. Well done!
I really like how in the beginning she was conflicted about mourning her master’s death. Like she remembers her Jedi training about non-attachment then she gave in to her emotions. A subtle & nice touch. Great film
One of the best Fan films I have come across!!
Well done
Really well made
Hope to see more one day
This was an incredibly well crafted piece of art. Every single aspect of the production came together brilliantly.
To everyone involved: Great job!
expertly executed..good job!
Very cool. The inner strength of people can be truly amazing and beautiful. I rarely ever run into people like that though. Time for some traveling. May the force/god guide you all.
Know what I think would be really cool?

Darth Continent Excellent idea.
Really an Amazing job! It really captured the power and the beauty of the force, and not just another swordfight! I loved it, one of the best Star Wars fan movies I have ever seen! :) Though I have to say, it looked a lot like earthbending at 5:13! ;)
Wow thank you! Glad you enjoyed the force-earth-bending!
Excellent fanfilm, Kreia would be impressed with the level of Trakata the protagonist posesses
One of the best fan films I've seen, and I've seen quite a few.
nice job this should have more exposure than 2000 views. Way better than any fan film ive seen
Congratulations, and too bad Rey showed not one bit of the trials and earning of her powers as did Macellan, I would then go and see Ep9 if Mickey were in it
Love the review, George! And shout out to Carbonite Chat! We'll pass this along to everyone involved :)
All of our love back at you guy's.. I sure hope fate will come knocking and you guys can somewhen give us somemore of this level great, great stuff.. POWER and MTFBWY ALL

Thanks, Daniel! Our amazing costume designers Julie Whiteley and Chelsea Alley did such an amazing job! I'm thinking they should sell Alenna's robes. Wonder how Disney would feel about that, ha-ha.
Avant-garde Creative Disney!? I want one myself. Lmao
Hahaha! If only they would let us!
I would buy the robes from the people who made them. Alot like how people do with stuff they make on Etsy.com
We'll bring it up with them. I think they've played around with the idea before :)
Powerful stuff! Great use of film to tell a story.
Needs a sequel.
I'd be lying if I didn't say I was beyond impressed by this, and feeling some feels the entire film. Palpable sadness and determination is felt by the apprentice, and it felt way shorter than it was. Time flies when you're having fun for sure.
Love it make a series
OUTSTANDING! Very well done!
"I'm stronger than you know!"
Great work great actress 👍
*Applauses* Loved it.
One of the best fan films: more character development and personality in 12 min of this than Rey had in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi combined.
This is pure gold Disney should be hireing people who write things like this, damn this so good
Luke Cowley that is very kind of you to say! Thank you. We're so glad the film meant something positive for you.
I have watched many SW fan-films tonight : this one has many outstanding qualities ! I was touched for one. The drama and spirit, the original and elegant style, the different music, beautiful scenes and image quality... wow
Thank you so much! That's all we can hope for--to have created an artistic story that touches the viewer. :)
She was amazing. I call her Blind Fury. Yea, that's a movie/story.
Nicely done
Très bon film, un grand bravo
This should have more likes and views. Seriously.
ok, this was probably the best fan film i seen in awhile
Wow, great little movie, I instantly felt invested. Also loved the song at the end.
Phenomenal film. That was breath taking, and it was perfectly filmed. Congratulations. The best star wars fan films I have ever seen. Perhapes even better than some of the star wars content Lucasfilm makes themselves. Love it. Beautiful.
You guys are awesome, incredible storytelling narrative and the FX are pro! please give continuity to this project!!!
Her lightsaber just... It.... Wha? Her lightsaber just blew my mind, made me think of something apple would produce if it existed in Star Wars
michael palermo The iSaber xD
Excellent job, good acting, best fan film I have seen so far... would be great canon.
This film is awesome because it shows you strong the force is and what a person feels when someone is lost that is important to there life and effects we’re 👍.
Very well done!
Amazing Visuals and haunting music, I like this spiritual look at Star Wars. Some truly fantastic shots, The creators and actors should be proud of what they achieved here! :)
Wow! Very well done. I wish the group I do amateur films with could make something even half as good as this.
Excellent job, excellent shots (except for one with the drone) and perfect acting!
I love watching these fan films. I find them entertaining and it shows just how many fans are out there!!!!
That was awesome
