My beautiful Husky Snickers who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge last December trained all of our other dogs how to howl (not your typical howling breeds) and it always helped to dispel anxiety and bring all of us closer.

In my town, the fire station siren sounds at noon. All dogs starts howling together, ( even me, sometimes), it is really beautiful. The fact that " the Great Sacred Dog always howls at the special hour" makes it almost religious 😂😂

I live in Florida and my buddy had a timber wolf lookes identical this color and height and it was full blooded papers and all don't know a difference but I know this looks identical to a timber wolf and I can promise you she's only about 5 ft nothing maybe 5'1 but her name was Sheba and she was huge and she was extremely smart I didn't even know their brain was double size of a dogs I was only 14 at the time but identical to a timberwolf

One of the most touching parts of this video to me is seeing JUST how comfortable he is with her -he feels SO totally safe around her: they don't generally like their paws touched but he's got his paws effectively in your hands, his belly is directly exposed to you........and he doesn't even look, not even hardly once, in your direction whatsoever; just entirely closed eyes or looking up at the sky -that's real trust ☺.

FYI wolves don't keep in tune. They all have their own distinct howl so all members of the pack can hear each other.

I had a dog I used to swear was part wolf and if I wanted him all I had to do was howl. He would howl back from wherever he was and come running. One day he saved mine and my children's lifes by heading off a pit bull coming straight for us . Rip smokey mommy loved you so much and miss you everyday .
