Although it's super neat, but I personally don't like knotless braids. It makes you look bald headed especially if you have thin hair. Just my personal opinion.

They are not as full as regular braids but the the look of these are to mimic what your own natural hair would look like in plaits.

Neat box braids however because she has low density/ thin hair it would be better if more hair is added to each box braid to make up for that. It makes us with thin hair look bald when we get these braids and our hair density isn’t taken into consideration.

No it would pull on it and make it fall out and break her edges been there

    • @courtneypalmer53

The braid would end up falling off I agree. I always have this problem with box braids. On the thinnest parts of my hair where there is a braid, the braid usually ends up coming off. 😩 Thankfully it's never noticeable because there are so many of the braids, but it's still something that annoys me regardless.

This is enough hair , she’s doesn’t need to much tension . The braider was accurate

For thin hair it's best to use the half moon parting instead of the box parting, it gives it a fuller look. If she uses more hair in the braid, the client will definitely lose hair, especially around the edges. Me personally would've just left my edges out.

Good job! I also have a little thinning near my edges which still presents a problem for me when it comes to box braids. Do you have any other suggestions if I can't find anyone to do knotless braids?

I think you should have made them Fuller since her hair is thin and that's too much scalp showing it makes you look like you don't have any hair.. I leave the thin edges out and put some gel on it and covered with the braids🤷‍♀️

Knotless are made to mimic your own hair braided in plaits just longer. So the look will be thinner. Everyone's preferences are different. Thanks for watching.

I never wanted knotless braids because if my thin edges. But i think if u love wearing braids like me knotless is the way to go to ease the tension on your edges. But i will probably do large to jumbo so it will look fuller.

Her braids are beautiful. I think that she should've asked you to leave her hairline out. Maybe gel it down, especially since it's already sparse. I also have a fairly fine hairline since my hair is fine. I'm loving those braids and the neatness too. Your hands are blessed! 😍😍💣

Omg, thank you for the tip about not braiding all the way down. I will be doing braids on myself for the very first time and planned to do half my head on one day, and half my head the next day. I recently found out that I'll have a special church service after the first day and was afraid of how they may look since I would only have half a head done, but thanks to your tip I'm much more confident about how much I can complete the first day. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Because, it is easier to deal with then our natural hair Period. We don’t have white woman texture hair where a simple head shake and messy bun will be fine. Our hair is another job, so using braids, wigs, and weaves just makes things easier for us. Hope that helps.
