I remember right before I bought this bottle it was receiving soo much hate. I wore it to work a few times and soo many compliments. Even guys were asking me what I was wearing. Versace Dylan Blue is the truth.
Alien Pumpkinhead I love Lacoste all of their colognes smell great, the only downside is performance is poor for being such an expensive designer frag. Versace makes the longest lasting and best performing colognes.
I've worn this twice at work and BOTH time a woman stopped me in the hall to tell me how great I smell. The second asked me what I was wearing. I love that the 'softness' of the fragrance means you can go heavy on the sprays and not worry about it being cloying or stinging the nose. It's easy-to-wear and can be worn for pretty much any occasion except formal. It is a compliment monster and it's just delightful. It's easily my Scent Of The Summer so far...
Dylan Blue was my first fragrance that I purchased in my entire life and I love it. It's perfect for everything, especially work out and night time situations. Thanks for the review I was really waiting for it and did not get disappointed! As always keep it up Steven!
Gustavo Gutierrez As long as you're wearing it on your clothes I don't see why it would be a bad thing. You stand out while everyone else doesn't have a smell, not a good one anyway lol. Some guys like to pick up chicks at the gym so they're going to wear some good cologne because it helps.
I own Savuage, Bleu De Chanel, and Dylan Blue. I feel your description of Dylan Blue is perfect. The first two hours of this fragrance has distinct Bleu De Chanel incense notes, minus the sweetness. As it dries down the ambroxin becomes more evident and it starts to feel more like Sausage.
Good review, Steven. I couldn't agree with you more on your overall soliloquy. Dylan Blue is a big mass pleaser, especially to the ladies. You're right, definitely not a copy or clone of Dior-Sauvage. Very different in their respective rights. Dylan Blue is a scent that is very inoffensive and will garner plenty of compliments. I get 9 hours of performance on my skin. That's very solid. Good job! I'm glad you are getting sponsored more and more. You deserve it for the awesome content you provide for the frag community.
I have this one, and it's okay. I wish I liked it more. I will still be reaching towards Acqua Di Gio Profumo and Dior Sauvage before this one during the summer, but I will definitely spray this on a few times for an evening situation.
funny enough I got a bottle of this in the mail yesterday based on some other videos. wore it today to work and when I arrived, i was dropping off my lunch in the kitchen where 3 female co workers happened to be. immediately got unsolicited compliments from all 3. really digging this one so far. Just enjoy warring it.
I've been wearing this one for about 6 months now and I must say, it's definitely 100% a compliment getter. You absolutely can't go wrong with this fragrance.
Bought it a week after it was released here in 🇦🇺 Fell in love with the scent the second I smelled it. Great release by Versace & great review Steven 👍
I have a decant of this and already love it. This scent warrants a full purchase for me. Oddly enough, this reminds me of a certain shaving cream I was playing around with as a kid at my uncle's house 😂 I find it difficult to get into fresh scents because I gravitate towards what some would consider winter frags. For example I love Spicebomb, Layton, Bond No. 9 Lafayette St., Kilian's Intoxicated, and Replica's By The Fireplace. My freshie arsenal needs help!
im a Sauvage fan before but when i bought Dylan Blue i got addicted to it the more i smell it everyday... i will buy 2 bottles of 200ML , nice review ❤🙏🏼
Dear Steven, I do agree that Dylan Blue is very versatile and mass appealing but I disagree with you that it's not generic and synthetic. To my nose it's very chemical and cheap. Thank you again anyway. You are in top 3 in the fragrance community❤️
I was a bit behind/late on purchasing this item, just recieved this yesterday, and I'm glad I purchased this fragrance, last over 8 hours on my skin, and the lady's love it. Thank you for this review
Great review.... the only thing is, I don't agree at all that women would smell good with this. This is classically masculine without being grandpa, but a male scent all the way. Best for men in the 25-40 age range.
Thank you Steve, this is by far the most solid and informative review of Dylan Blue that I have seen yet. I definitely see the similarities to Sauvage and Bleu, but I think it's actually even better. I also see a very strong resemblance to ADG Profumo which is another excellent fragrance that I would love to see you review as well.
I agree with you 👍the original was released just after Blue De Chanel...this two smells will be closest to each other.. To me Dylan Blue is more masculine fragrances or more intense.. when Chanels will be softer and elegant-as you say everything is very individual.. for some customer, the most light fragrance may seem heavy but for some customers Chanel N5 has no smell )).. and you can’t argue with that - we are who we are .. thank you for the video 🙏👍
I have it and it is a good all-around fragrance, could be mysignature scent but I agree that it is 4 star equavalent, not quite one of my 5-stars but close. I foolishly bought the 200ml because of the price points but probably shouldn't have. I'm new to the fragrance scenr. Thanks for another great review.
I shop both Notino and Fragrancenet . I am always going to both for samples and such. When Fragrancenet has Amouage samples, you need to get them quick. $2.79 a piece is the best price around. You need to keep watching Notino's Special Offers and go through Fragrancenet testers. Stuff goes quick.Which is good. Haven't sampled this one yet.Thank you for the review Steven.
Great review as always. In my opinion Versace Dylan Blue is much better fragrance it has more depth and quality than Dior Sauvage, anyways both are very versatile, easy to wear and with great performance.
i got this Dylan Blue from a few month agos. For me this one is 60% Dior + Sauvage 30%BDC 10%Invictus.But on my skin its not last at all.Only first 2-3hours then became to the skin scent Even im living in Bkk,Thailand n The weather is damn hottt here. Easy to wear n Complement getter. 7/10 On my personal option. 😊
Something about Sauvage makes it smell "cleaner". But Dylan Blue is great, too. Also, there's something in Dylan Blue that smells very much like one of those Lacoste fragrances that I had before, I just can't remember which one.
Thank you steven! I have been a more educated human being in a fragrance aspect lol, i enjoy your videos, keep them coming!! God bless. I bought this like 3 weeks ago, great buy.
It's obvious you're a teacher, haha. I myself am a History teacher. You follow a precise outline, like a teacher. I like how you stick to the relevant points inside of 10 minutes. I'm really starting to bore of the reviewers who go longer than 10 minutes...unless they have good looking women on their videos, like Jeremy and Brooklyn Fragrance Lover. I really like and hate Robes08. He has a great collection, but he can become a bore really quick after 10 minutes. So, thank you for being precise and sticking to the main idea/themes (teacher terms, haha) on your reviews.
Always spot on Steven! Your reviews are clearly the most professional and educational on UA-cam. Just purchased 2. 6.7 Oz. Bottles from Fragrancenet! A fabulous Long Island based site that has fabulous prices and selection.☮️Happy 2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣☮️
Just ordered a 6.7oz for $65 shipped! Lily Direct has $2.99 shipping but i used code sitef15 to save 5%. Checked other sites and i dont want a 3.4oz bottle. Only Versace i have that sucks is Oud Noir. No one carried it in stores so i had to blind buy it. I used to shop on fragrancenet but i hate paying shipping. I live in Alaska and use Fragrancex or Lily Direct for my cologne.
It's the same price on Foreverlux with their 15% off code and only $56.68 per bottle with their 25% off code if you find someone else who wants a bottle and can buy 2. Notino has it for about $63 with their 10% code.
Both sites don't ship to Alaska. They have good prices and would have been happy to give them my business. For me Lily Direct and Fragrancex have never let me down. Funny how some sites restrict shipping to "overseas". If i made a huge haul id defiantly make an order through fragrancenet. I got Aventus and some of my Bond #9s from that site. Just dislike paying shipping charges.
I wasn't aware you're from Alaska. My only hesitation in ordering from Lilydirect is that they're shipping from California. During the summer months especially, those 3rd party delivery trucks could be steaming during a heat wave and they usually ship ground.
Yeah. If I didn't like what I got return policy is solid. eBay is one site I'd never buy from. Without online discounters id never be able to build a collection. Once I place my order I can track it and usually within 3-4 days it will arrive to my work address.
I finally got round to trying this on my skin. I'm getting a alcohol base note just as with a test strip. This makes it feel a bit cheap, and that is a shame as I believed I would pick it up and not pass on it like I am.
I agree with everything except... longevity. Does well for first hour or so, projecting well with three sprays, but then dries down to skin scent on me.
This fragrance is just incredibly versatile and smells wonderful. I have no issue owning this, both bleu de Chanel's, suavage, carbon, and aqua atlantique.
Is Dylan Blue the Kind of Compliments? In two word, "Hell No!" I don't understand why so many folks hate on this fragrances, but I also don't understand why some folks go Ga-Ga over this one. It's okay, but it's no Sauvage and it's no Blue de Chanel...just a pleasant Department Store scent IMO. But that my opinion so try it for yourselves, please. Cheers!
Nice review.. I am a huge fan of the original Invictus.. my fiancé picked it out for my birthday and straight up love it.. looking for another cologne for the winter months. I like what I hear about this but I want something not so main stream. The dark colognes don't work very well with my skin nor personality.. is there any other fall winter fragrances you would recommend for all occasions? Also is FragranceNet.com legit? Is the cologne fake or authentic, I don't know if I could trust them.
YSL Y EdP or Versace Dylan Blue? Have 34 fragrances, Y amazes me everyday by how simple and clean it smells, compliment magnet 🧲 😄 Is Dylan Blue similar?
I have 15 of the top fragrances that are popular and get compliments, even Aventus. However the only one that I got a compliment with was Dylan Blue. The girl not only said it smelled good but also said she appreciated that I was wearing it in her office due to they nice scent it gave off. Too bad I am married. :)
Dylan blue ADG PROFUMO DIOR SAUVAGE EDT WHICH R ur number 1, 2, 3 amongst dese ?? Wonderful review . Thanks a ton for answering all my queries promptly
Does anyone know about a store or a retailer that ships to Mexico? Nice and simple video, I agree with you, it's an easy-going easy to like fragrance, it's not something groundbreaking or daring or new but it shares some similarities with some popular fresh scents, I think it could be pulled of by anyone and I think it maybe could be a year-round scent or a signature scent. I tested it and a get about 2 hours of average proyection and it lasted on my skin for about 7 to 8 hours. Nice scent in deed and also cool presentation but personally I prefer Dios Sauvage but only because I think it's a little bit more juvenile than this and because I have good memories with it. I love yor videos Steven, you're one of my favorites fragrance reviewers, keep it up.
I loved this scent but I felt like I didn't need it in my collection just yet since I own bleu Chanel and sauvage. Will be buying once my bleu Chanel is empty. Sauvage will not be replaced lol
I can see this getting good attention but my wife's disliked it from initial spray and I wasn't to crazy my self , great tale Steven ☺..have a good weekend
I know this review is old, but I love this scent, and many would knock me for it, but I like it more than my bottle of creed Aventus. My favorite of all is Ford Tobacco Vanille
Purchased "Dylan Blue," from your recommended purveyor. I ordered on March 3, and didn't received it until March 15. As usual, took almost two weeks to arrive. For some unknown reason. Mine had an acrid odor reminiscent of "Dirty English." I'm sorry to say, very disappointing. Fortunately, that lasted about one hour. Then it sat almost imperceptibly close to the skin. Wondering, if I could I have received a bad batch?
I'm really sorry to hear that. I don't think it's likely that you received a bad batch. I think it's more likely that you received an old batch. If you're not satisfied with it, the company has a really good return policy. Sorry again.
@@ezvenxm3278 It's good in general, I think the review is accurate. Easily to get compliments from girls but the uniqueness is not a point. You can wear it to anywhere and most occasions.
love the fact sauvage is now a stellar fragrance, but to begin with watching the utube community it was first hated lol ...the thing with sauvage is ..there is not many better at silage
Matt topcat say bye bye to Sauvage sillage it's been reformulated and is now piss poor. Few hours longevity if that, with literally no projection or sillage. Fuck Dior
What kind of a dude notices when another dude gets a haircut? Mind your own business and stop staring at his haircut...you're creeping us out. LOL! On to more important matters...it looks as though FragranceNet is now Fragrance.com.
What's wrong with complimenting a haircut? You guys need to chill. Also, looks like Redolessence took a trip the black barber this time & got himself a fresh cut lol
I want to choose a gift for my male friend, for his collage graduation. I live in tropical country. Wonder if this one is the best possible fragrance I can give. I'm so excited.
I remember right before I bought this bottle it was receiving soo much hate. I wore it to work a few times and soo many compliments. Even guys were asking me what I was wearing. Versace Dylan Blue is the truth.
KUNDALINI Hell yeah it is. Wear it with a Lacoste, and trust me, you’re gravy.
Alien Pumpkinhead I love Lacoste all of their colognes smell great, the only downside is performance is poor for being such an expensive designer frag. Versace makes the longest lasting and best performing colognes.
Anthony J I was talking about the Lacoste Polo shirts. You just can’t beat them.
Oh ok lol my style is a t-shirt and jeans or shorts usually designer like affliction american fighter and true religion or rock revival
Anthony J Nice. I can respect that.
Versace Dylan Blue & Dior Sauvage kings for the summer
Yup! Thank you for watching!
Im such a rebel. I used this during the rainy season
I use it all year.
Is that bad?
Sauvage edt or edp?

I can see this getting good attention but my wife's disliked it from initial spray and I wasn't to crazy my self , great tale Steven ☺..have a good weekend

Hey, must say I am digging the emoji rating system. Very clever!
Great video.
I have a 200ml of this. I am liking it more and more. Performs great on my skin. I have yet to get a compliment.
Versace eros for the spring and Dylan Blue for the summer, or maybe both for spring and summer
Nice.
I know this review is old, but I love this scent, and many would knock me for it, but I like it more than my bottle of creed Aventus. My favorite of all is Ford Tobacco Vanille
Great review btw
Good video! Keep it up!
Do you think this smells a lot or at least a little like Hugo Just Different?
Got this for Christmas, its my new favorite.
I'm glad you like it!
Awesome Video. Thanks For Directing Me To Buy Original Eros Versace . "Nicely Explained"
4:31 That fly in the ear sound fucked me up 😂

farouk krendi me too!
It smells very synthetic and Metallicy
Just put in my order (VDB) and ordered a small bottle of Versace Pour Homme.
I love the opening but hate the dry version.
Why ?
just got it right now, 100ml bottle! Feels good.
Purchased "Dylan Blue," from your recommended purveyor. I ordered on March 3, and didn't received it until
March 15.
I think you received a fake bottle.
loved the review homie
Can't wait to receive it, I have just bought it five minutes ago :)
How was it?
@@ezvenxm3278 It's good in general, I think the review is accurate.
Easily to get compliments from girls but the uniqueness is not a point.
You can wear it to anywhere and most occasions.
Nice review! How many sprays do you apply?
Hey Great review, I recently smelled this and I'm definitely going to pick it up. which online retailers do you trust ?
This is also available in 200ml (6.8 oz) bottle for extra value for money
Great review Stephen! I need to grab a bottle.
Thank you, Ryan! I would love to see you review this one.
If i can describe this in one line : "Bang for the buck."
Well said
love the fact sauvage is now a stellar fragrance, but to begin with watching the utube community it was first hated lol ...the thing with sauvage is ..there is not many better at silage
Matt topcat say bye bye to Sauvage sillage it's been reformulated and is now piss poor. Few hours longevity if that, with literally no projection or sillage. Fuck Dior
Great review man as always :) one Q between this dior Sauvage and blue de chanel edt/ edp how do you rate them ? Your nr 1, 2 and 3
Did you get a haircut? Looks great!
What kind of a dude notices when another dude gets a haircut? Mind your own business and stop staring at his haircut...you're creeping us out. LOL! On to more important matters...it looks as though FragranceNet is now Fragrance.com.
that's an amazing haircut barber done a great job
What's wrong with complimenting a haircut? You guys need to chill. Also, looks like Redolessence took a trip the black barber this time & got himself a fresh cut lol
Jim R It's normal. you're a weird kind of dude
It's not weird complimenting someone's haircut bud. Maybe there aren't any people complimenting your haircut
I want to choose a gift for my male friend, for his collage graduation. I live in tropical country. Wonder if this one is the best possible fragrance I can give. I'm so excited.
Great choice!
It is! You wont regret it
Can you please help me to choose the best pleasant option of these three: Dylan Blue, Eros EDP or Eau Fraiche? thank you!
