Plant just looked different his last fight.. he seems like the kinda dude that took that loss to heart and upped his game exponentially.. he looked bigger, stronger & meaner against Dirrell than he ever has.. I Like Plant in this one.. Great Channel Paulie !
Plant is skilled and I think we’ll see the best Plant we’ve ever seen. Unfortunately I think that will bring out the best in David. I got Benavidez by late round stoppage.
Yes, my opinion too. Plant's weakness is that he's mostly a defensive fighter, he can't bring that constant danger with solid/dangerous punches, so it will just be very hard to keep a monster like Benavidez off him for long..
absolutely perfect assessment of the fight. Especially the way Paulie described Benavidez' feet and how he crosses them. If Plant can continue to counter with accuracy, he can disrupt David's timing enough to win a decision.
Best commentator in sports period! When he speak on fights I learn so much really needs to think about training fighters a dam genius on the sport of boxing in my opinion 💯
Saturday, March 25 is just a few days away and I can't wait. I made my PPV purchase today and decided how I believe this fight will go. I absolutely love this sport, and this is a tremendous fight for fight fans. Two top-tier fighters in their prime are going at each other. I respect most fighters; they are courageous like no athlete in sports, highly skilled and intelligent, and tough. I believe this fight will boil down to heart. At some point, they will have to stand and bang, and I believe Benavidez is built for that. He's real like that, in my view. I respect Plant's skills; this is boxing, so anything can happen. He can win this fight. It's a 50-50 proposition in my mind. He has a great coach in his corner, but his coach can't fight for him. I just believe that when Benavidez starts bringing the heat, and he will, Plant will eventually make the rational business decision and give up. Benavidez by TKO late. My final answer.
I like plant he seems like a good kid. But this benivedez is just a big mean kid, he’s got a mean streak to him. Not to mention the kid is a machine constantly coming forward..
Paulie please give us a video about the final Cancellation of Fury vs Usyk. It seems to everyone (including me) that Fury performed a Duck which wasn‘t seen for centuries. Let us know your thoughts. Thank you
Fury is a weird guy, lies through his teeth. He'll probably pursue an AJ fight for one last payday before he retires, even with a win there he'll retire with a pretty weak record of opponents
The trouble is As I live in the uk We've had nothing but this on the TV, radio stations social media etc You've got some people so biased you just couldn't listen to them especially reporters and journalists The final conclusion to me is Tyson fury didn't really want his fight even after the Ukrainian calling his bluff He made it so difficult to make the fight that the Ukrainians just had to pull out in the end it was so embarrassing, And it's crazy because after watching benavitez v Plant It lets you know What a sad state of fares it is for a top heavyweight like he is to make an excuse to fight The sooner he retires the better and if AJ as he should look impressive against Franklin with an early stoppage or A good performance at least we'll have AJ back in the spotlight again guaranteed he won't be no ducking or avoiding fights maybe one day we'll see the fight with Wilder and I really look forward to that As there's definitely going to be a knock out I wouldn't put money on which one

The betting odds are correct. Benavidez will knock Caleb Plant out. How fast this happens will depend on Caleb Plant's game plan. If Plant runs around the ring all night and take potshots, it's gonna be a long night. If he sits in the corner bobbing and weaving, Benavidez will catch him early.
David looks in shape but a little drained I think he’s too big for 68 and Caleb gonna give him a boxing lesson of epic proportions and knock him out and 11th Caleb’s a supreme cerebral defensive fighter and can place a fucking shot
He's too big for 168, but he's trying to age out Beterbiev, and I can't see him beating Bivol either. He doesn't want to move to 175 because he'll be a nobody there. At least at 168 you've got smaller guys to bully around, like David Lemieux, and he's always talking about Charlo, who's at 160. You never see him calling out the top guys at 175 though, even though he's missed weight at 168 multiple times, but if you're smaller he's all over you.
Like always, great analysis Paulie. I think Plant brings a level that David hadn’t seen before and will win by decision. I also think Plant will drop Benavidez (flash knockdown) and will use his experience and ring iq to come out ahead. I agree that he was in survival mode with Canelo and wants a do over. I believe he’s willing to pay the price to come out with the victory. I’ll be at the fights, looking forward to a great night of boxing and my only regret is I won’t be able to hear you commentate. What's so amazing about Pauli Malignaggi is that he was a LEGITIMATE TWO TIME welterweight champion during the rise of the glamour era of the division and faced bloodthirsty killer after bloodthirsty killer in the division. In spite of the losses (he didn't always come out on top, but hell he was there during a glory period), he literally did fight all the names that were established or on the come up. The only one I think he missed was Keith "DON'T duck me, SON" Thurman but I think by that time, Paulie was already half way out the door and Thurman was coming on. I think a lot of the younger guys can learn a lot from Paulie's career in terms of (1) using as many tools as possible in different fights, (2) giving different looks, not just employing one style and (3) when something isn't working in a fight, DAMN IT, stop DOING IT! I think that as the afterglow of the Mayweather era wears off, more guys are willing to take risks, be diverse and not think they can shoulder roll like floyd and stop talking this A side/B side stuff when they are not established at all as champion or legitimate contender.

I agree with you Paulie, last quarter of the fight. I believe Benavides will wear him out with that constant pressure and fast combinations to the head and body.
I hope Plant learned something from the Canelo fight. I too thought he looked like he was simply trying to outlast instead of taking it too him. Your damned if you do and your damned if you don't. I think Benavidez is coming in over confident and could end-up knocked-out on the floor. I don't believe in monsters.
Great assessment Paulie…..I’ve to say this nothing will work for Plant why his Knock outs ratio, he doesn’t carry the punching power for Benavides, Plant needs to stay away or just keep the fight in the middle of ring…..if Plant lets Benavides dictates the pace of the fight is going to be a short night for Plant …..Benavides will be coming like a high speed Train 🚊 throwing punches in bunches and then like I said!!!! Will be a short night for Plant 😊
I think you're thinking that if Canelo beat Plant that Benavides may beat Plant, I think it's all the way around, I think that if Canelo beat Plant Benavides is going to destroy Plant
Ok keeping it honest 💯 Plant has impeccable footwork. The White-Boy can dance great footwork. Possesses hidden Power🔋💪 great Jab if he sticks David's body throughout the fight that may solidify his win. But David's something else. What I'm saying is Caleb has a chance but David's too Relentless and Over Powering. I got DB wining by TKO Ref stoppage. But Caleb can do it will be a great fight.
I respect all the expert opinions in favor of Benavidez, but I think weight drain (even after rehydrating) is going to affect his stamina, strength, and ability to take a punch. Plant, meanwhile, is right at home at 168, and he's an improved fighter, post-Canelo. Plant by decision or late KO.
I’m Going With Plant, He learned a lot from that lost to Canelo, and Doesn’t,or Will not disappoint himself again! I have Plant Spilt decision. And the New!
Fan Boy , You sound like the President of the Caleb Sweet Meat Foundation!! Sweet Meat couldn't deal with Cinnamons pressure And power ! David's power and Pressuure is Like Nothin He Ain't Evvva Experienced !! David gonna have him outa there in 9!!!!
Plant Dances & runs look great but it’s a fight not dancing Benevidez is power look funny can not climb on a dancer & cut the ring This was a Pay Day for both The Russian would wind against Benevidez ! Plant is even easier! Benivedez against Canelo well Benevidez will hit him because Canelo comes in / Benevidez wins
I agree with you champ when you said the outcome of Caleb and Canelo he pretty much got his check. I’ve seen Caleb 1st hand crack and def outbox the best and even my wife noticed he was pop shotting trying to look pretty and safe and he wasn’t hurt fr
Sometimes when you lose, you actually win. I say that because I believe, and based on the performance that Caleb showed in his last fight that it took that Canelo fight to allow him to understand that greatness is achievable and that even in a loss at the very top level that you gain a level of experience that might have been the missing piece of understanding of the game that allows one to improve his overall game. He looked fantastic in the Anthony Dirrell fight, although Dirrell was 38 years old, and had previously been knocked out by Benavidez 3 years prior. I believe that Benavidez is one of the most exciting fighters out there. He has an overly strong desire to be the best, bar none...while wanting to complete destroy every opponent that entering the ring with him enroute to him proving to himself and everyone out there that he is the best. He is willing to fight anyone, anytime, anyplace and I love that about a fighter. He maintains a very high level of confidence. Blue collar type of champion. I am the type of fan who does not take sides per say. I could care less who actually wins the fight. That to me is not important. Yes, it is important to the fighters because of what getting their hands raised means to their future earnings demands, future mandatory title shoot placement in the rankings, as well as it adds additional sponsorship opportunities, and it normally increases the list of opponents lining up to overthrow you. I just want to see a great fight.
Could this be a preview of Garcia vs Davis one is a puncher, and the other has speed. I understand two different wight classes. What are your thoughts?
Love you analysis Paulie one of the best In the game! That being said, plant did look different in his last fight. It all depends on if he’s willing to go out on a shield like you said. Benavidez probably will win an take him in the later rounds. But I would not be surprised if Plant puts Benavidez on the canvas early in the fight. With a flash knockdown. Almost the way loma went down.
I think you're basically right. I see Benavidez walking Plant down after the 8th or 9th round. Plant may escape with a decision loss but David definitely wins decisively.
Caleb is a highly skilled fighter that found the missing link in his game with the addition of Breadman. David has outsized everyone he’s fought, but won’t have that much of a size advantage against Caleb who also can match his power. David will walk into some shots he doesn’t want to on Saturday night.
@@Mickieshelton That’s the same mindset that gets all these guys knocked out. They walk in thinking he’s just a puncher. Hopefully Plant sees Benavides’s skills better than his fans
@@Mickieshelton He really is a spiteful fighter. He loves the mano a mano. Dangerous...but he can be hit and does catch left hooks...just don't think Plant has the pop to KO him. Got a feeling that DB also fights up to the level of the guy he's facing. Only way Plant wins is if he has a phenomenal gas tank and DB fails miserably in applying increasing pressure and running him to ground.
Caleb was mentally broke down with Canelo by just walking him down..David let’s his hands go and his jab is quick and long..I see the same thing from David but faster…
I think Plant's power is underrated. His timing isn't all that, but when he gets it right, like with Dirrell, it's good night. I was in awe with the delay of the left hook. It was off rhythm. I watched the Canelo fight and I saw Canelo taking one good uppercut early that got his attention and later tying after a body shot. Those were the only really hard punches he landed that caught my eye.
Always great Poulie! If Plant don’t bring the dog to this fight he is going to loose worst than with Canelo but also Canelo have better skill than Benavides!
Paulie--I have a question about WHY Plant slows down in the later rounds. Is that due to something fixable, or is it purely genetic and unchangeable? One sense I've often had is that unlike some great fighters in their prime--Hopkins, GGG, JCC, etc.--Plant has a difficult time remaining relaxed in the ring, and especially when punching looks far too tense, as if he is contracting a lot of musculature that is not involved in producing the required bodily movements.
Give it time and plant will keep getting better he has not peaked yet he’s only getting better but this current fight will demonstrate both David and plants chances against Canelo imo
@@KING-RICO. Plant is thirty years old...he might improve his power a little bit with better technique but that's it. The guy is the lightest punching champion 168 I think I've ever seen. This fight will show whether he's still really just an arm puncher ...or not.
David Benavidez will defeat Caleb Plant 🪴by ko SLEEP " 😴 💤 Caleb Plant 🪴 knocked out " Anthony Derrill the fact David Benavidez ripped the fight out of Anthony Dirrell " as it relates to the MASSIVE BEATDOWN David Benavidez administered on Anthony Dirrell "
This wont be close at all. Benavidez will catch Plant reaching in with that jab to the body and finish him within 8 rounds. Total blow out and people will be saying Benavidez is the real deal like it wasnt obvious before the fight.
Hi Paulie!! I think DB is playing straight into Calebs game plan. Caleb already has him emotional and angry and that anger will work against DB in this fight. Dont forget, DB was tired and slowed down tremendously in the Gavril fight and even got knocked down (by a natural 160 mind you). If Gavril can do that to him, what makes everybody think that Caleb cannot KO him or at the least win on points?? Forget what the judges said, I had Caleb down by 1 rd at the end of the Canelo fight and he was giving Canelo all sorts of problems throughout the fight. People are really sleeping on Caleb and I think he wins and makes a serious statement.
Plant will definitely have to put himself in the danger zone to land some meaningful shots on Benevidez. Take some to give some. It will be interesting to see if Plant can back Benevidez up. If Plant can’t hurt Benevidez, the pressure from Benevidez will slow Plant down in the later rounds, leading to a stoppage.
I got to meet paulie malignaggi at the weigh inn for his bkfc fight with artem lobov he's really cool he went out of his way to tell the security guards to let him take a pic with me
Paulie, always brings forth a great assessment based on expience. I agree, if Caleb boxes, frustrates Benavidez, and makes him reach while applying pressure Caleb can take this fight away by decision by countering and out pointing and take pop shots to get in his head. I think Benavidez doesnt have great foot work. It's a toss up....50/50
How is he going to last 12 rounds against a bigger opponent? Canelo being smaller and still stopped him … use your head bud Benavidez is bigger maybe not as skillful as Canelo but bigger and that makes up . Benavidez stops Caleb 9,10,11 .
Paulie, if you get a studio and guests you would become the biggest boxing channel on UA-cam no doubt. Brains to burn about boxing. Watch alongs with other boxing legends/experts etc
Benavidez is following guys because it helps to wear guys down and soften them up. Cutting them off forces them to fight and makes them more dangerous. Give them an out and let them take it keep running. Benavidez coming forward landing and them backing up possibly landing, who’s at the advantage? Benavidez. I think, not “cutting the ring off” is part of his strategy.
It is wild how when Paulie speaks candidly and speaks sincerely he makes soo much sense and is very intelligent but when he’s out and about acting a fool lol he well acts a fool but nah respect 🫡 Paulie 👍🏼🙏🏼💪🏼🇺🇸💪🏼. I’m Most Definitely 💯 Pullin’ for Plant without a mf’in Doubt !
‼️‼️ Paulie always spot on. I like Plant for a shocker win. Although your right about how much Plant wants it. David will underestimate plant power and May get stunned by plant, I feel David only has 1 plan is to KO plant if that doesn’t work what’s plan b?
Caleb has a fantastic Jab . Especially in the Canelo fight. He was popping that jab in Canelos face but Canelo kept cutting off the ring. If David can do that hes going to be a problem with his pressure. But i pick Caleb for this .
Benavidez seems to have the mental advantage and seems secure that he can beat Plant.Plant seems overwhelmed by all the pre fight hype but it may work in his favor? Hard to tell who's going to win this fight for certain.I feel Benavidez will put pressure and use his reach advantage to connect often while Plant will have to be able to counter Benavidez offensive onslought of constant pressure something he didn't do against C.A.
Plant just looked different his last fight.. he seems like the kinda dude that took that loss to heart and upped his game exponentially.. he looked bigger, stronger & meaner against Dirrell than he ever has.. I Like Plant in this one.. Great Channel Paulie !

Your damned if you do and your damned if you don't. I think Benavidez is coming in over confident and could end-up knocked-out on the floor. I don't believe in monsters.
Imo this is a great comment.
Thanks for the commentary Paulie!
In boxing skills always payed the bills ! 50/50 fight leaning on plant winning
Damn I have heard Paulie in a while. me and my brother were just saying how he's one of the best analysts. It sucks he's more calling these fights.
When has Benavidez ever had weight problems? He’s fought 168 for how many fights?? But now he’s drained that makes no sense !! Benavidez hater no 🧢
He looks drained
I’m Going With Plant, He learned a lot from that lost to Canelo, and Doesn’t,or Will not disappoint himself again! I have Plant Spilt decision. And the New!
Fan Boy , You sound like the President of the Caleb Sweet Meat Foundation!! Sweet Meat couldn't deal with Cinnamons pressure And power ! David's power and Pressuure is Like Nothin He Ain't Evvva Experienced !! David gonna have him outa there in 9!!!!
@@jimmyantolin21 😭😭😭😭😭
Plant Dances & runs look great but it’s a fight not dancing
Benevidez is power look funny can not climb on a dancer & cut the ring
This was a Pay Day for both
The Russian would wind against Benevidez !
Caleb plant for the win.
This guy Paulie speaks 3 languages English, Italiano, Espanol. Smart dude.
I think if Caleb can’t do it with his great boxing ability, no one will be able to stop the Mexican monster 👺.
Bivol would school Benavidez. He's better than Plant in terms of boxing.
I was waiting on this! 🙌🏽 Paulie always tells it how it is!
That's a great assessment of both fighters, but somehow, I'm rooting for Caleb Plant based on his skill set.
Thanks for the video, PAULINE TV
Could this be a preview of Garcia vs Davis one is a puncher, and the other has speed. I understand two different wight classes. What are your thoughts?
No. Not comparable
Pillowhands Paulie's predictions are just as bad as his commentary skills...
Agree!
Expose ? This is click bait 😂 you got me Paulie . He’s a brawler , he fights and trains publicly . No secrets
People are relying on Benavidez being big as to why he wins. That's not the right mindset. Benavidez has the will to win. He's not a joke.
@@Mickieshelton Everyone has the will to win, that's why they fight.
Well said Paulie
You are so knowledgeable and talk about both sides not just always touting promoters favorites.
Paulie II never liked your fighting style, but find myself agreeing with you 100%, when it comes to your analysis and breaking down fights!
I think Benavidez is going to be a bit much for Plant he just to big to strong & can actually box I think Benavidez walks him down ..
🇲🇽👹
Spot on Pauli, Analyzed the fight to the TEE!
Caleb destroy david career😂 in the press
You the biggest canelo groupie, you scared that benavidez putting that pressure on canelo 😂😂😂😈
@@lovetoseeit8132 bivol is better and more dangerous than Benavides what make you think canelo is scared of Benavides lol
U agree with everything you said. Nice breakdown 🎉
Benavidez by 8th round stoppage
Good break down,Caleb by decision 12 💯😉
Too much weight training is causing his stamina problems.
@@KING-RICO. People's biggest problem with Canelo, in my opinion, is strategy, not a skill gap. People always go in there with the wrong strategy.
@@KING-RICO. Plant is thirty years old...he might improve his power a little bit with better technique but that's it. The guy is the lightest punching champion 168 I think I've ever seen. This fight will show whether he's still really just an arm puncher ...or not.
@@truthoverlies6434 I agree with you
I got plant stick move hold
Pumped for this one Paulie!
Awesome breakdown!
Great take best so far! 👏🏽👏🏽
David Benavidez will defeat Caleb Plant 🪴by ko SLEEP " 😴 💤
Caleb Plant 🪴 knocked out " Anthony Derrill the fact David Benavidez ripped the fight out of Anthony Dirrell " as it relates to the MASSIVE BEATDOWN David Benavidez administered on Anthony Dirrell "
Off balance knock down he wasn't hurt in the least came back and still won, everybody forgets to mention that
I agree with Hopkins, Plant. And while I think it will be a good fight, not as difficult for Plant as many people believe.
Plants gonna flatline Benavidez……..watch
I got to meet paulie malignaggi at the weigh inn for his bkfc fight with artem lobov he's really cool he went out of his way to tell the security guards to let him take a pic with me
Paulie, always brings forth a great assessment based on expience. I agree, if Caleb boxes, frustrates Benavidez, and makes him reach while applying pressure Caleb can take this fight away by decision by countering and out pointing and take pop shots to get in his head. I think Benavidez doesnt have great foot work. It's a toss up....50/50
Excellent analysis! I like David AND Caleb, but the Benavidez's antics kinda make me pull more for Plant, but may the better man win in the end...
Great analogy @Paulie
Always enjoy your boxing analysis. What happened to all your co-hosts on ProBox?
Its a fight, Anything could happen,. May the best man on the night win.
Plant will win on points .. young hungry active fighter , mixing it at world level for some time .
💯 good analogy P spot on u called it
Paulie was a great boxing analyst/ commentator 🎙who tried to be a boxer!🥊🥊!!🤷♂️
Tried to be a boxer?? He is a two weight world champion
Excellent analysis. I agree. I actually think the same
It is wild how when Paulie speaks candidly and speaks sincerely he makes soo much sense and is very intelligent but when he’s out and about acting a fool lol he well acts a fool but nah respect 🫡 Paulie 👍🏼🙏🏼💪🏼🇺🇸💪🏼.
Great breakdown
I got Plant only if he sits down on his shots. He could keep David honest and win but if he can’t sit down on his punches David will stop him late.
Caleb has a fantastic Jab . Especially in the Canelo fight. He was popping that jab in Canelos face but Canelo kept cutting off the ring. If David can do that hes going to be a problem with his pressure. But i pick Caleb for this .
bruh does paulie have the light version of giga chad filter on 😂
Shame on you for knowing what that is
I hope it's an amazing fight. If I had to really bet, I'd lean toward Benavidez.
