As an old man, who as a child watched Cassius Clay boxing, on black and white tv (that old), it is bloody good to see and hear a polite, intelligent, respectful young man interviewing a professional boxer. It gives me hope and makes me smile. Thank you young man, you represent yourself and your family very well, imo.

I met him in Helsinki right after the weight in. I like the guy, but I must say that those seconds seemed like minutes😅 Dereck was "little bit " nervous, but gave his autograph after all.
He’s done some distasteful things Chisora. Unlikable things but, he has always been on a unique path. Entertaining. Comes to fight. It’s not technical. It’s hard work and he’a never an easy night for anyone maybe with the exception of Fury who could just nullify Derek with his physical attributes If the likes if your Furys, Usyk’s, Joshuas and Wilders are the MEAT in the sandwich of this era, you would have to say that Chisora is the BREAD holding it all together . Putting on fights. Fighting anyone. Hardly ever any angle or politics or kicking cans down the road, playing the waiting game etc. Without these spirited fighters, we’d just be left with the main eventers who weigh things up and plan their moves so clinically.
