  • Here's the 'how to' breakdown of how to build a song from scratch and perform it using #ROLIBlocks - I presented this at the NAMM Show January 2017 and I'm really happy that now it's available to everyone online. I LOVE working with ROLI and you should check out what it is they do. #expressivecontol #MPE

It's great that someone has finally done a step-by-step tutorial. Please create more step-by-step videos. For the absolute beginner this is invaluable. Thank you Erin!

This was so very, very helpful in making the Noise app and Roli Blocks more understandable. Thank you for taking the time to make a well paced and produced how-to

Erin thank you! I love my songmaker kit but ahave never been able to connect the whole kit to noise, only to my Mac via wire. I am also learning ableton via your Berklee/ coursera tutorial. I’ve had my blocks for 2 years and just got 2 more. Now I can really get the full array of possibilities.

this is actually a pretty neat little "Dawless" tool you can play with, that also integrates extremely well with a daw. I'm surprised I've never heard of these.I'm glad I wasn't a customer back then, because these prices for these new are insane.

people say that in order to be a produser u must have a huge srudio, equipment worth of tons of money & a contract with some label.. Plus u have play every day in a diffrent place "as a DJ" This girl made a song with a phone & some midi controlers...!!!

When I connect my Roli loop block to the app the control back lights go out. When it’s not connected the back lights come on. Any ideas?

Erin. Very inspiring.. I've been thinking of using Roli for a while. My heart wants to buy a Behirnger Deepmind but the way you presented this has really made me think about the creative process. The Behringer can wait I think.. Just one question, Can I use my Ableton rather than Apples software ?

Hi, it looks amazing, but I have a question. Can they control other musical apps and DAWs? e.g. iMPC pro2, KORG Gadget, Propellerhead Reason, etc. Thanks.

Hi Erin - thanks for the video. In the patch called "Mellow Duduk" it's not referring to a duck. It's this instrument: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duduk - pronounced "doo-dook".

Nope it can't be because the Lightpad M launches at late 2017. This video was recorded before that.

It all looks like you are driving a space ship. It looks cool. Do the software come only for apple devices or is there also a windows version? I recently got my self Korg nanokontrol studio. I love the freedom of wireless, but KORG made sofware for apple and then later released VSTs for windows, and greedy bastards charge 200 dollars for VSTs. Now thats what I call showing customers the middle finger. They got some nasty and greedy deal with apple.

So basically the second light pad is useless and only shows tracks. That’s just a waste of money if your using the Noise app.
