I absolutely love the lead female. I loved her. I ain't taking your crap! She is a strong, independent woman who does not need a male to make it in this world. All she asked for was only one man to love her for life. She had Spunk with a capital S. I loved her eyes and expressions. Love the ending❤
There is a reason why sometimes we don't get what we want, and that includes people. The FL figured out early on not to be a doormat but how to fight verbally. She wasn't taking crap from the hubby and his viper side chick. I don't see how he could be offended that she didn't want him touching her if he had told her that touching her made him sick. That's pretty insulting. She was pretty much taking care of her own needs and relied on herself. I'm glad the Empress trusted and loved her. It's sad to be married to someone you admired and loved, but you can't trust or rely on them except to humiliate or belittle you. I'm also glad she left him to do her own thing. Once she was gone, he missed her. Pfftt! That sounds like a personal problem to me, and not her problem. He didn't appreciate her in life and in his life, so it's a waste to miss such an amazing woman in "death." The chucklehead had to learn the hard way, and when he found her again, he had to chase her hard. Good! You don't appreciate what is easily given to you, but when you earn it the hard way, now you appreciate its worth. I didn't care if they were together at the end or not. I just wanted her happy and knowing her worth. That's happiness in itself.

And then he made the right decision when he knows his heart. ❤ Good story and FL did really give her heart ♥️ to ML. Happy Ending and good rebirth story without knowing much about the fire or the past.
Lol i was thinking that 20 minutes in when she mentioned low blood sugar. I mean she's been injured more times than she's been fed and she doesn't even have 1 servant! Dang it's like they spent all the money on costumes and couldn't afford anything else, she could be fainting for real lol
FL needs to work on her voice. At time she slurs and other time a bit scratchy. Not comfortable to listen to. Plots are ridiculous such as only two went up the mountain. They brought people so that they have protection and assuming these people were guide as well.
This cdrama is giving us a chance to peek st the glorious days of imperial china and reminding us that traditions have been. Handed down to the present communist china.what generation will be next is just for us to wait to travel in Time with scripwriters rich imaginations...thank you. .
