Hi Shivangi, is 25% cotton paper good?
Depends. If you’re a beginner who wants to learn the basic techniques then definitely no. It can’t take much water. If you want to practice small work like flowers with only layer of water than yes it could work. 100% cotton serves both purposes. Hope this helps!

Most welcome. Honestly I haven’t tried that paper. But you can always try it. You never know it might be good for your style! Just make sure it’s 270-300 gsm for multiple layer watercolour techniques😊

1- Chitrapat pad laya hu usme masking fluid aaur lifting of colours not possible Dusra paper colour absorb karta hai pani lagaya to buckle up hota hai
2-- Eak artist ka sundar vedio dekha usko puchha to Bob Catridge papar bahut achha hai wo use karke dekho aisa mail aaya Ye paper Pune ke art shop nahi milta hai
Please koun sa Indian paper achha hai ye bataiye bahut thankful rahunga nahi to mera painting band ho jayega aur ye retirement ka life painful hoga
Aapka budget agar allow karta hai phir baohong ya fabriano khareed sakte ho. Ye online hi milenge. Chitrapat par maine ek review kiya hai aap wo video zaroor dekhna.
Paper buckle isliye hota hai kyunki ya to wo kam GSM hai ya aapnw use ache se stretch nahi kiya hai

I have purchased Navneet Drawing book, is it good for watercolour painting or not? I'm a beginner, pls guide me.
For watercolour ideally paper needs to be 300 Gsm. You can check the gsm of your paper. If it’s less, you’ll struggle if you apply many layers of water as it won’t be able to soak it. Such books are good for drawing and pencil shading, pencil colouring.

Speed bumps ko paper buckling kehte hain. Agar aap loose sheet par painting kar rahe ho then aisa hota hai. Paper ko stretch karna padega tape ke saath phir aise nahi hoga. Agar pad form hai phir stretching karne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Ache quality ke paints mei pigment bahut high hota hai. Camel ke paints mei pigment comparatively kam hai, isley local paper par painting dull lagta hai kyunki wo paper bahut pigment kheechta hai. You can try Fabriano artistico ya Baohong paper. Ye pigment nahi kheechte.
Agar paining ka koi area dull lagta hai then glazing technique se wapas thick colour ka kyer laga sakte ho. Example ke liye mere channel par lesson 15 ka video dekhlena. Chitrapat use kiya hai and dull area ko brighten karna sikhaya hai maine.

Bcoz soft blending mei problem hoti hai mujhe potrait mei ,, brustro 25% cotton ,300gsm cold pressed sheet mei.
try fabriano artistico. ek sheet order karlo. usko cut karke use kar sakte ho size ki hisaab se.

Is chitrapat paper externally and internally sized? How does Brustro 100% cotton paper compare with chitrapat?
Everyone has a different opinion depending on their style of painting. For learning, I recommend chitrapath paper blocks as it’s rough grain helps grasp techniques like dry brushing etc. However Brustro is smoother and the paint flows differently on it . I always recommend post beginners to try their favourite painting on various papers and figure out which paper and effect they personally love the most. I stick to brustro for ink and wash type paintings.
