Thank you for this reaction. Yes, Italy is too much. Top 10 is too small. Top 100 would be needed. Italy has the biggest number of UNESCO heritage site of the world.

we have the 4 seasons, but it can change a lot between north and south. summer is generally hot (30-40° C) through all summer and all italy, in the north it might be more humid. in winter, the south is pretty mild, north can get cold and snowy especially in the alps where -40°c is not to uncommon in the highest mountain villages. generally though even in winter it is not too cold and some cities hardly ever see any snow. italy is pretty big so it is not possible to see it all, this video shows you the most important places but there are other hundreds. pick an area and try to scout in that are for a few weeks, for example in Venice then you can go to Padova, Vicenza, Verona, and finally milan. or if you go to tuscany, go to florence, then siena, pisa, ecc, or you can fdo rome naples, amalfi coast pompei... just to stick to the biggest areas, but really...there are hundreds if not thousands of cities and towns to visit and the real italian vibe is often more in the smaller and local areas a little away from the more turistic sites. for example in Verona you can go to valpolicella, lake of garda, lessinia, they are all close by and offer different experiences stretching from the lake to the wineries and smooth hills to the prealps and they are still all full of history.... a lifetime would not be eonough... :)

hello sir, thanks for sharing your video experience. As many people says there are many other places in Italy to be visited. In my personal list, to the list here i can add at least other five places: Bologna, old medieval city, with porticoes listed in the UNESCO and the first oldest University still one of the most important in the country. Don't miss Piedmont, for his capital Turin, but also for the beautiful hillside and vineyards in Monferrato, Langhe and Roero, also UNESCO, then Lago D'Orta and close to Turin the Sacra di San Michele, the XII century medieval abbey that inspired Umberto Eco in the Name of the Rose. Absolutely to mention is Umbria Region, with some of the most beautiful best preserved medieval cities like Assisi (San Francisco hometown), Gubbio, Spello, Perugia, Spoleto, Narni and beautiful hilly landscapes. Veneto is not only Venice, but Verona, Padova and Vicenza also listed on the UNESCO, with plenty of beautiful landscapes and small medieval villages as Cittadella and Montagnana. Not the last one but one of my favorite is PUGLIA region! Beautiful clearwater sea, amazing landscapes and some of the most beautiful cities to visit, like Bari and Polignano, Lecce the pearl of the Baroque, Otranto, Alberobello, Locorotondo. The list can continue with Matera, Trieste, Aquileia and so many more places! Too much!

I'm roman, but here miss the top place in italy. Sardegna (Sardinia Isle) has the best nature, expecially beaches, take a look at pictures and the reality is even better. great food as every single region of italy, great people, culture and unbelievable history. don't miss Sardegna once in Italy or you will regret it.

first of all im from south america and been all over the world because of my job as a businessman. italy and japan are my favourite countries in the world, italy can not see it in one trip, italy is a living museum and takes a lifetime to see all of it and learn from its beauty . sir italy is very complex from its northern sites to the southern parts and also the weather , dont go in july or august try april or may and possibly early june and also late september or early october . tourists are getting to be terrible during the summer months. i love every part of the country, favourite are verona, terahmia in sicily, siena, lucca , florence, and too many to lists, and dont miss matera what a place.

I think you will need way more than 2 months just to see only rome xD there is much to see here that even i that i'm italian i didn't went to places yet like the Amalfi coast... that's maybe because i'm broke af but still we are the country with so many UNESCO sites that everytime we start to build something new artifacts and discovery are made. One recent very cool discovery was the finding of some etruscan bronze statues perfectly conserved that were discovered during some buildings constructions. Is a really important discovery cause the etruscans were a population from Tuscany before the roman repubblic was born. And because is rare to find bronze statues that survived all this times, the only one that were not melted by the popes were the ones thought of beign christians, like the marcus aurelius equestrian statue that i think was thought of as the first Christian emperor costantine :D
