Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow the spongy tissue inside bones where blood cells are made.
It's called myelogenous leukemia because it affects a group of white blood cells called the myeloid cells which normally develop into the various types of mature blood cells such as red blood cells white blood cells and platelets.

I lost my brother in 15-25 days of initial symptoms.
Initially he had pain in one side of his stmoch and cyst like formation in his stomach,which was observable by hand from outside of stomach.
In Gen. Hospital ,After initial examination by doctor observed ascities(CT scan) in his stomach,further he said he has infection in his stomach and will be cured.
Doctor has given 5 days medicine and said come again after 5 days.
Stomach problem was as it is, We reached hospital on 5th day, Doctor said us for admission,we admitted him.
On next day doctor taken blood samples and all and evening he informed us he is suffering from AMML,we decided to move him to Chandigarh PGI but he left us before reaching to Chandigarh.😢
God didn't give us time even fight with disease.😢
