If you want to try really good Vietnamese food in Seattle, you should go eat at Tamarind Tree restaurant. It’s in Little Saigon on Jackson Sreet and it is literally the best Viet food I’ve tried. Totally recommend!!! It’s way better than Pho Bac in my opinion.

Mikey, summer here in the NW is sun between breaks in the clouds. Its the driest 2 months we get all year. Enjoy and get your self out of Seattle and enjoy other parts where you won't have to wade through needles, poop and panhandlers.
Mikey, you really need to try out the mom and pop places along 101 between Union and Quilcene (west side of the sound from you). Not only can you find some of the best and freshest seafood anywhere, including the fried oyster sandwiches at a couple stops, but the scenery is awe inspiring... Sigh, this video made me so homesick for Washington it hurts, but in a good way... sob
Made me homesick too, even though it was my second home and it's been almost 20 years since I left. But a part of my heart will remain there. I used to pay $500/month for a studio in Belltown in 1999-2001. Can you imagine?? You couldn't even rent a spot on the sidewalk for that now.😢
Growing up my grandparents would always take me to Seattle whenever I visited them, I love that you get to experience it for yourself! Try the Moo Bar btw😜 I hear it's really good (haven't gotten to try it myself yet). Great video!
We might be moving to Washington and have always wondered what was around food wise in these different areas. Thank you for scoping it out and videoing it gives me more insite. Also one of the beaches does a razor clam hunt where u can dig for them and keep 15. That would be a fun video to watch u hunt clean and cook them.
I’m so glad you moved here, showing us where all the good food is hidden. Lived in wa state my whole life and would have never checked out half these places. Keep it up :)
Go to Bite of Seattle at the Seattle Center next weekend, there are hundreds of things to try there and also practically every food truck in the area will be there, all in one spot!
Oooh, yeah! I been waiting for Milkie Milkie to open as well. Hopefully soon. And yes, Hood Filipino bakery is great! I really dig the ube cookies, always sells out. Sometimes while I am waiting in line to snag some. I am literally waiting in line, and the person in front of me purchases the last several cookies on display, and I am silently screaming inside, "Noooo!" Dang! Great food adventure you had, thanks!
omg mike im so excited seeing u visiting the restaurants I used to go!!! I miss Seattle so much especially that clam chowder. There's ton of good restaurants around capitol hill area! It is closer to downtown, the vietnamese restaurant Ba Bar is very good, and there's this french brunch place called Cafe Presse, amazing Croque madame!! You'll never get used to the long daylight hours. You better buckle up for the dreary lightness winter. But take comfort in all the the damn good food up here, they're all here. Its truly eye opening and I grew up in the Bay Area.
Cant believe you were at Alderwood Mall I was there the other day lol Right next door to Seven Star Pepper they have amazing fried chicken wings and duck noodles at Hue Ky Mi Gia
Totally agree with going to that place for the duck noodles, chicken wings or even the fried garlic shrimp!! Kau Kau BBQ in the I.D. for suckling pig or roast pig! Decent lunch specials there too!
You just passed the best Vietnamese crab noodle soup, Bun Rieu @ Huong Binh when going to 7 star peppers.
