Dogs have never held a special place in my heart, especially after one damage my property and went crazy with separation anxiety when I lived near Boston for grad school. It nearly destroyed my relationship with my roommate who owned the dog, but we had a mediation with our landlord and are still friends to this day. Nice way to start December.
