My daughter stays in that very same kind of relationship, even tho I have offered to pay for a new apartment & childcare for her & my grandson, She refuses to leave even tho she is miserable & hates the father of her child, She says that at least she knows what is going on in the house & who is there & if she left she would not know who was around her son & what they were doing. Sad situation. When the courts know there is drugs involved & they still allow the child to go to that environment. SMDH.

I had to fight the courts to keep my kids safe and regardless I had to send my kids to visit even though he had to pay for a court appointed supervisor. I got lucky and he never followed through to see them.
One more comment, I am laughing at the music being played in the store because I used to play with cassettes back when I was a kid, and I'd hold down one of the buttons on the tape player and the tape would speed up! Another button I'd hold down and it would slow down. My favourite was when I'd speed it up though. I'd be dying of laughter for hours!
