As much as I disagree with Sen Payman’s comments and especially the Greens. I support anyone’s right to freedom of expression no matter how much I disagree with it. I don’t think suspension is required. I still haven’t heard her speak about her views and I haven’t seen the media interview her. Let me make up my own mind.
Why can’t sky news get their audio right? Many videos I’ve seen, there are basic issues to do with the audio on full display to the viewer, which are quite distracting to the story. This issue is a hot mic, which should have been turned off the moment the guest spoke their last words. Many times guests either don’t have their mics turned on for half the video, or it’s way low in the mix, and it takes have the story to be turned up. These are basic audio issues which happen in all professional audio applications, but at sky news, they just keep happening with a long time to fix. The most basic fix to this is asking where is the audio engineer, and aren’t they doing their job? Is this a professional network, or a Wayne’s World type show broadcast out of somebody’s mother’s basement?
I really hope that in the future Senator Paterson finds his way to the lower house. He has future Prime Minister written all over him. The way he carries himself and cares for the people of this nation make him a great leader.
