Was at a race at Atlanta Commerce Drag Strip . Prudhomme wasn't giving anybody time of day. Don't get me wrong, he is an awesome racer. Look beside him and Force is shaking hands and signing autographs !!! John Force is just a Good Old Boy !!! Gotta love him !!!!

I remember being a kid at turn one with my dad. He worked the Infield crew fire truck. OCIR was a great track. So many great memories

My dad was in the Silver Fire suit sitting on the back of the infield truck at turn 1. We were there when Mike Dunn had his horrible crash in Roland Leon’s car! Pete Monose was in charge of them at that time.

OCIR was such a great place to watch a race. We used to go to the Winston World Finals back in the 80's before the track closed forever.

I saw the "Snake" make the first ever 5 second funny car pass here in 1975 NHRA world finals.

puzzling...why "Snake" would back up all the way into the waterbox after doing 2 dry-hops and a shot off the starting line? My guess is the tires were still wet when he staged. He blew the tires off it.

In my opinion, the Omni wasn't one of the Snake's best rides.

Alex Voyles > No, '82 he went to the Camaro, much better luck with that.
