One of the most underrated songs ever whether by U2 or in general and one of the best songs I have ever heard. For some reason, just flew under the radar.
It “flew under the radar” cause our corporate controlled world music industry suppressed it - absolutely no reason monetarily for them to promote this a song bringing listeners closer to Christ and enlightenment about this greedy profit centered world

What a fantastic song, but some of the live versions are absolutely stunning. The Edge's guitar work melts my face every time. Love love love this song!
As kid of the 80s and a teenager of 90s this album has been timeless. I later learned this song was about Judas and his betrayal. Actually it's about Jesus being betrayed by Judas. The perfectly placed kissed. Once again Jesus chose to suffer and this time under the act of betrayal. Jesus is beautiful and my comfort in the betrayals I've faced. U2 captured something no one else has in such a way. A masterpiece of a song. Most likely directed by the Holy Spirit himself!

So many memories associated with this brilliant album and the events of life at the time...burning cds for my friend Jessica during soccer season , and ultimately seeing this great tour at the Pontiac Silverdome in September of 93...sucks we have to get old doesn't it?
Really? The Edge is the most interesting part of U2. A friend of mine said it best "U2 is a dichotomy, we all want to listen to The Edge and his unique guitar but nobody wants to listen to Bono for more than 5 minutes"
I saw U2 in 1981 in a club in NYC. The one thing that I remember was the wall of sound that came from the guitar player--in a club you could feel it. Then I got to see them again a few years ago in MetLIfe Stadium (Jets-Giants stadium, NJ) and they were same perfect band with that wall of sound.
There's one of the biggest storms this year raging out there at the moment, with rain drumming against my window and lightnings every few seconds, and listening to this now in the twilight has something surreal
This song says very much musically as well as Spiritually.
