Why is it sad to be a minority? I'm confused. Just like it isn't sad to be a majority. I think we need to work on unity for the races. Why focus on minority and majority? Shouldn't we be focusing on what we have in common, instead of trying to keep us divided? They want to keep us separated. They are terrified that we will see through all of this race baiting and hate mongering, and come together as brothers and sisters under the same flag. And come together under shared ideas for what is best for our great country. That is why they are going crazy over the Oliver Anthony song. Because the reviews of the song, and reactions of the people are being posted by white people and black people. We need to unite before it is to late. I don't hate you for being back, and you shouldn't hate me for being white. That is the definition of racism. You will never win trying to fight racism, with racism. We need to judge people on merit, not color. And forget about viewing us as minority and majority, and start viewing us all as fellow Americans. And on a strictly numbers bases, like you were looking at it, it doesn't make sense. There are over 261,000,000 white Americans, and 41,000,000 million black Americans. That is in the neighborhood of 66% to 14%. Do the math and see how many generations it would take to change that minority to the majority. So to me, its a pointless statement. I think our energy would be much better spent on trying to unite us all as Americans. Instead of making it a desperate numbers race.
