Mam actually in childhood I was trained in Rabindra Sangeet and also classical. Its like a semiclassical genere. But I had to leave culturing for music for my graduation and higher studies. Now after marriage when m 32, I hve started again.Vocal exercises of RS and pop are totally different but I wanna continue both. Is that possible or will it effect my voice quality adversely?
Hi Priyanka, you can definitely take up vocal training at any age. Vocal training techniques are different for Hindustani and Western style. You can definitely learn both, but listen to your body and try to see if you are having any problems with certain exercises. Ask the instructor if you face problems.

Thanks alot mam for replying. But I don't have any western vocal intstructor yet. Due to this pandamic, offline classes are not been started anywhere in any trusted mucic school. I feel online, would not be enough for me to capture this totally different aspect. So, I follow your tutorials and advices

Absolutely! For vocals, you don't need anything on hand except some free apps.

During hiss sound I have to inhale or exhale??

There are many factors that go into becoming a star. That’s not what is being discussed in our video. We are focused on training the voice correctly and in order to sing, you need to practice the right techniques.
