- I went on Accutane for 8 months last year to treat my acne and I thought I was DONE with pimples forever, but now some have come back... This is my experience 3 months post-Accutane. Let me know if this also happened to you...
After a 3months after i finish my 3rd course of isotretinoin

I am 16 days in and facing a huge purge as we speak! 😢
I am hopeful my acne doesn't return after the 5 month course. As someone who has changed her diet, lifestyle, etc, I would love to know the culprit of acne. The true trigger, because I'm so tired of hearing it's food & lifestyle related!!
Do you eat sugar , carbs and dairy? Cause when I cut those out completely my acne went away and I lost a lot of weight as a side effect.
@@kai6424 I’ve essentially cut out dairy, sugar and stick with low carb. I started the extreme diet changes last year and lost 50lbs. I’ve always had a whole food diet though.

@@PrabhMann-ce2ot Thank goodness no! Accutane was the best choice I've ever made. My skin is flawless now.
Mine came back too, although my acne returns in waves, I’ll have acne for two weeks or so before it dies down and I am spot free for two weeks, then it comes back again, repeat.

I think you will never know if you don’t try it… The side effects really depend soooo much on the person, they’re hard to predict. You could also consider a lower dose as most side effects are dose-dependent 🙂

Hey sir, I took accutane for 5 months and 10 days. I was about to take it for 6 months but stopped it all of a sudden because I noticed hairloss. Now im losing almost 25-30 hairs per day. I am only 17 yr old. I can't decide what to do now. Can you please suggest me the right way?

so you stopped using anti acne routine post isotretinoin? imo, after isotretinoin treatment you should continue using an anti acne routine to prevent it from comin back.

See your dermatologist - you might need a topical like Clindamycin.
Thanks for the tip! She gave me clindamycin to use after shaving on my neck to avoid razor burn, but told me not to use it on my face for now. I'll see how it goes the coming weeks and then perhaps make another appointment.
@@ChrisandShang You’re welcome! That’s probably because your skin is still so vulnerable having just stopped Accutane. I did Accutane twice - early twenties and again in mid thirties because the oil production on my skin was just out of control…causing bumps and eruptions then lesions/sores that looked like pimples but weren’t. Today, I use Clindamycin Phosphate DAILY in the morning and I’ve seen a TREMENDOUS improvement. Maybe after your skin settles down she’ll ok using it on your face. It’s been a game changer for me. @@agencyeditor8379 Oh wow I had no idea you were allowed to use it for that long. In the Netherlands they typically restrict topical antibiotics to max. 3 months of continuous use because of the risk of antibiotic resistance. Glad to hear it's been working out so well for you!
of course it will come back bro you never really tackled the main issue, which is body inflammation. all Accutane does it temporarily stop the oil production, which is just the symptom. its a deep hormonal issue.

I wrote before and want to follow up with a new tip to help you. I re entry ought a high quality prebiotic pill Ada probiotic pill. My skin is looking great again. I think being on antibiotics really crashed my biome but pre/probiotics fixed it. Give it a try and let me know!
I used isotretinoin in 2017 my doc asked me use for 3months and now I m 21 my acne came back but unfortunately my doc was far away from my city can I use this for 3months agai

i did accutane and 4-5 months ago my treatment stopped, mine was 9 months BUT it all depends on you and your progress day by day. My acne is coming back but it is coming back because of the food i eat bc i don’t watch what i eat but if you watch what u eat and eat healthy im sure u wont have it again
